I stayed at a different one. I didn't take into account that the gas indicator would dip under the Full notch on my car's dashboard heading to the airport. This hotel wasn't that far away from my usual one. My gas tank was a smidge under the Full notch. I was surprised. I was driving along I-35 and needed a gas station. Luckily, I had just past one. I exited I-35 north, hit I-35 in the opposite direction, exited, turned right, and then left to reach this BP. I liked that there were plenty of gas pumps available. There was another customer besides me at this gas station. The BP app is awesome. I specify the pump number and get the pump unlocked. I got out of my car to top off my gas tank. The downside was that the pump could not sense whether the tank was full. I was guessing, looking at the gas gauge on my car's dashboard and pumping. It was a pain. I eventually hit $6.94. It is an oddly specific total, but it did the job. It happens to be the first three digits of my childhood phone number in the Beaches, without the area code. Anyway, I do love paying using the app, getting in my car, and heading to the airport. It saved me some time, which I appreciated. Otherwise, I would be gawking at everything in the convenience store and would likely be rushed going through security at the airport. This gas station was clean. There was plenty of paper towel and windshield wiper solution where I was. It's a decent gas station with a weird gas pump. I was happy that I could bring back my rental car with a full tank of gas. They had food heating in a few areas but those also looked like they weren't cleaned in a while either. They don't have as much of a bottled drink selection as other gas stations, I didn't see any Minute Maid lemonades or some other of my go to drinks. I ended up getting a squirt and after we paid and drove off, when I tried it, it had a weird chemical taste (I don't completely blame the gas station), but I was looking for a expiry date on the bottle and it was kind of smeared off and not legible. I've drank expired pop before and it was never this weird tasting so I'm not sure what was going on but for sure had to throw it away. I'd say for sure check the dates on anything you buy as the store is pretty unkept.

This place had a lot of gas refill stations and since this was situated right at the junction of Marshall Avenue, there was a constant influx of vehicles driving in to fill gas. There was also a car wash right next to the Stationstore and was busy as well with two cars being served at one point. The price was competitively less and the electronics was spot on. I didn't get a chance to check out the stationstore but it seemed nice from outside. The place could have some work done on the side curbs as they seemed broken and had to reverse and take my car out to miss from them damaging my car. This place is definitely one that you can show up at any time of the day for its neat service.

I ordered the mid-range wash on the pump when paying for my gas. The vacuum was $2 so I skipped it. I pulled up to the robotic car wash, punched in my code from the gas receipt, and drove in. I put the car in park and it took the washer about five minutes to wash my car. Kind of fun to watch the device sweep over and around my car, spraying it with various soaps and rinses, but I prefer the car washes you drive through with the brushes because I feel they do a better job. Anyway, it is a decent gas station and car wash. No complaints.

It would take for ever to make your own gas and ladle it from a bucket into your car. I never go inside the building, but there always seems to be a sweet smiling attendant behind the counter. I wonder if they wonder about me wondering about them? I withheld the 5th star because they do not have compressed air. Any gas station that charges for air can get no more than 3 stars. Better to have broken air than to have working pay air. Sure, it costs money to purchase/maintain an air compressor. I don't care. Charge us an additional $.01 per gallon to finance this luxury.
