I ordered the mid-range wash on the pump when paying for my gas. The vacuum was $2 so I skipped it. I pulled up to the robotic car wash, punched in my code from the gas receipt, and drove in. I put the car in park and it took the washer about five minutes to wash my car. Kind of fun to watch the device sweep over and around my car, spraying it with various soaps and rinses, but I prefer the car washes you drive through with the brushes because I feel they do a better job. Anyway, it is a decent gas station and car wash. No complaints.

The first time I explained that he bought the drier type that doesn't swivel, the cheap hard mounted type that does a poor job of cleaning. Today I came through again and figured as much - no change to the dryer - I'll accept that but just wanted a clean car. Purchased the deluxe wash and pulled away only to realize my windshield was streaked. I pulled over in the Aldi lot and checked and sure enough all the Sid's of my black car were still dirty. I figured maybe they would look at it and give me a second pass through. But when I returned the same POC gentleman first checked to see if I had been on his camera system going through and then checked the last four of my credit card while I patiently waited. He then said let's go look at your car. Without a word I pointed out my black Subaru. I showed him where the finger could easily rub off dirt and my windshield and offered to him that maybe a second pass would take care of it. His reply was, "No, you get no repeat!" I said that's really sh#*!%* service. He mumbled under his breath on the way out the door maybe he should call the soap company. She had an issue with her car that was requiring intermittent jump starts and power loss. Obviously, as a father, the idea of her being stranded or being vulnerable in a compromising situation weighed heavy on my mind. Independently, she had asked for referrals and assured me to follow her ideas on where to take her car. She had a good feeling about this place. As I clutched my wallet not knowing how outrageous chasing an electrical gremlin in the vehicle could cost, I told her to get it in right away. After all, winter is coming. She took the car in per the scheduled time, and popped the hood. Presumably a little later they came out and informed her that her issue was quite simple and taken care of. Her battery cables were loose. She went to settle the bill and they said there was no charge. She called me, and told me what the result was, and despite our insistence to pay the shop for their time and consideration, the refused payment and wished her well. This isn't an advocation or review of how to get free work, because no one would be more deserving of some form of payment than here. For the peace of mind and increased safety for my daughter when she is beyond my range of protection or immediate rescue; this was a sigh of relief that she is at a quality establishment, in a quality neighborhood, with a reputation that deserves the highest marks. To the owners, managers, and team at All American Auto Service - thank you for the All-American service. Hats off to you.
