They had food heating in a few areas but those also looked like they weren't cleaned in a while either. They don't have as much of a bottled drink selection as other gas stations, I didn't see any Minute Maid lemonades or some other of my go to drinks. I ended up getting a squirt and after we paid and drove off, when I tried it, it had a weird chemical taste (I don't completely blame the gas station), but I was looking for a expiry date on the bottle and it was kind of smeared off and not legible. I've drank expired pop before and it was never this weird tasting so I'm not sure what was going on but for sure had to throw it away. I'd say for sure check the dates on anything you buy as the store is pretty unkept.

I also enjoy watching the cars speed past on Shepard Rd while my tank fills. My mind drifts to a time when horse and buggy once passed this corner. Did they stop for oats? Was it cold without a windshield? Had someone suffered from polio on that engineless day? Back to pumping gas. Electric pumps are cool. It would take for ever to make your own gas and ladle it from a bucket into your car. I never go inside the building, but there always seems to be a sweet smiling attendant behind the counter. I wonder if they wonder about me wondering about them? I withheld the 5th star because they do not have compressed air. Any gas station that charges for air can get no more than 3 stars. Better to have broken air than to have working pay air. Sure, it costs money to purchase/maintain an air compressor. I don't care. Charge us an additional $.01 per gallon to finance this luxury.

The first time I explained that he bought the drier type that doesn't swivel, the cheap hard mounted type that does a poor job of cleaning. Today I came through again and figured as much - no change to the dryer - I'll accept that but just wanted a clean car. Purchased the deluxe wash and pulled away only to realize my windshield was streaked. I pulled over in the Aldi lot and checked and sure enough all the Sid's of my black car were still dirty. I figured maybe they would look at it and give me a second pass through. But when I returned the same POC gentleman first checked to see if I had been on his camera system going through and then checked the last four of my credit card while I patiently waited. He then said let's go look at your car. Without a word I pointed out my black Subaru. I showed him where the finger could easily rub off dirt and my windshield and offered to him that maybe a second pass would take care of it. His reply was, "No, you get no repeat!" I said that's really sh#*!%* service. He mumbled under his breath on the way out the door maybe he should call the soap company. I live nearby and this is the last time under this management I will use their services. Community or airport driver BEWARE!!!
