AAA Comfort Air

Our 25-year old HVAC system was hanging on out of sheer loyalty... but the time had come to bite…read morethe bullet and purchase a new central air system. For those of you that have not priced these things out before, quite a bit has changed over time...like the cost! Also, technology has moved on as well, so it's virtually impossible to replace "just the condenser" without all the additional furnace components...they simply won't work together. We called several HVAC contractors...one of them being the large energy company we all know in this area. They came in and did their inspection and were very professional. But their price was 50% higher than the local competition. Yes you read that right!! I wasn't concerned about the "big guys" doing it right, since they are our current utility firm and we have appliance contracts through them. But in light of these tough economic times, I really wanted to give it to a small business. I just wasn't sure how well they would stand behind their work and whether they would do it right the first time. I did research and found two other options. The one that really stood out was AAA Comfort Air in Cream Ridge, NJ. They had over 95 five-star reviews, and although anyone can fake a review, I still felt compelled to do my due diligence. I set an appointment for Emil (the owner) to come in and assess the situation. He was professional, took his shoes off before entering (not at our request), and clearly laid out what was needed and NOT what was most expensive. As a matter of fact, he recommended options that were less expensive vs. those that would simply feed his wallet without added benefit to us. His demeanor was polite, knowledgeable, and he took the time (over 1-hour) to really explain everything without pushing for the sale. Additionally, there are some unique challenges in our home that require minimal dust due to some family health issues and he offered to put up plastic to separate the rooms to ensure a clean work environment. Well, much to my surprise, Emil, came back with an estimate that was truly outstanding vs. simply "competitive". Likewise, his firm provides a 3-year parts and labor warranty (not an option...he just provides it) along with the condenser manufacturer's 10-year. The others only offered 1-year.... that in of itself really resonated with me! We decided to move forward, and I have to say, we made the right decision. Emil and his team were outstanding. They arrived on time, ready to go, and their work was outstanding. Everything was done in one day, with a clean install and a fully working system. Look, HVAC replacement won't make your home look nicer, but it surely is important. No one wants to spend that kind of money unless they have to. Emil and his team were not only very competitive, but they delivered on their promises and were very customer focused. If you are seriously considering a project like this, you need to consider AAA Comfort air. They deliver on their promises and care about their customers. They go above and beyond and deliver with an eye towards balancing price with efficiency. We highly recommend them and you should absolutely include them in your decision-making process. They truly are "AAA".

When purchasing another fan for my home I wanted good quality so thought I was going with a brand…read morethat was reputable but safe to say it was not. I bought a $70 fan from Air Innovations through QVC. After about 15 days of use the fan died. I called QVC and they sent another. The next came and the same thing happened. QVC washed their hands of it and told me to deal with Air Innovations. When I called them they sent another fan that was defective out of the box. So upset and frustrated I called Air Innovations again. They further lied to me telling me they will send another. That was the beginning of December 2024 keep in mind I bought the fan for the first time in June 2024. The tranking number given shows a label made on December 19, 2024 but they still don't have the package. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had as a customer. Seems like Air Innovations doesn't care about their customers and will steal your money by selling you defective products and does not hold up their end on warranty. Do walk, RUN AWAY!!!

After several HVAC troubleshooting visits from various heating /cooling companies over 2 weeks, with "couldn't /wouldn't" fix the AC., and 2 no-shows, a friend told us about Air Innovations. We called, they were here in an hour! One hour later, the AC was working. Charged us a fair price. Nuff said!

We hired American Eagle to replace our entire HVAC system in April for $12,480, paid in full…read more Unfortunately, key parts of the job were left incomplete, and efforts to resolve them have gone nowhere. A duct to our bedroom was never connected, there was no cutout made in the trunk, and no flex duct was installed. Another duct, which we had discussed lifting off the attic floor to allow access, was never suspended. These issues should have been caught before the job was closed out. We made every effort to support a smooth install: clearing our garage, moving items for equipment storage, purchasing extra plywood, and even running an air scrubber to improve attic air quality for the crew. After posting a review explaining our experience, we received a revised contract stating they would only finish the work if we removed our review and waived our labor warranty. That didn't sit right with us. We also reported a worker's inappropriate comments that made my wife and I uncomfortable, and our concerns were dismissed. The work in question would take about an hour to complete, but after weeks of follow-up, we've had no resolution. We're hiring another HVAC company to finish the job and plan to pursue recovery through small claims court. We hope others have a better experience, but based on ours, we recommend double-checking everything before signing off.
