For over a year they have told me they were coming to replace a dead tree they planted. They promise to come but then don't show up. First they told me they would come about 8 months ago, then it was 4 months ago, then her dad will be here this week. That was three weeks ago. DO NOT USE. Had them come out for a quote after trees fell in a storm. He wouldn't give me a price and said he'll just bill insurance. I said thanks anyway. The next day I got home and his crew was all over my yard chopping up the trees. I informed him I didn't hire him for the job and he started screaming at me and threatening to dump the trucks full of woodchips all over my yard. I regret not calling the police. Not only that, but they also cut down a fully healthy tree in the process. Also my lawn was destroyed because they drove all over the wet grass with heavy machines instead of using the easily accessible driveway. They also ran the woodchipper in the middle of the yard, leaving the lawn covered in woodchips. read more

Steve, the owner is very unprofessional. They did some damage to my property while cutting down some trees and Steve tried to tell me it was my fault. He would not accept his mistake. He said he didn't have any money to pay for the damage and he raised his voice screaming at me. I told him to get off my property and to stop disrespecting me. I called his daughter Debb and she apologized. She offered to solve the problem with their handyman. I was really disappointed by the owners disrespect. Rep I spoke to (Debbie) on the phone to schedule the appointment was very professional. The company representative showed up on time and started looking at the tree to be removed. After a few minutes he looks at me and says, " How much do you want to pay me to remove this tree". That was a bit bizarre but we moved on. I told him that I called him company for there FREE Estimate. I asked him to provide the estimate and told the rep that I do not do tree work so had no idea what the cost would be. With that he starts getting loud and questions me if I know how much it cost to fix broken equipment at which point I responded that I am not in the tree removal business so how would know the cost of repair his equipment. Now he starts getting louder and tells tells me I am wasting his time to which I told him it was time for him to leave my property. I few weeks back, I asked neighbors, on Nextdoor, for recommendations on tree specialists. I thank everyone for their suggestions. I ended up selecting All Affordable Tree Service, in Randolph. From the very beginning, when I received my quote from owner Steven, it was smooth sailing. Pricing was affordable to! They were on time arriving & promptly started work with a well trained supervisor and crew. The man who climbed the trees was very skilled. I was so amazed watching all of them work, together. The crew was polite, and even took time to rescue some birds still in a tree. Cleanup was so good you couldn't tell they were even there, except for the missing tree! When all was done the climber gave me a thumbs up! (I didn't realize he saw me peeking, from up top, watching him from window!) Without a doubt, they were the right choice for me. I highly recommend them. I will definitely bring them back to do some other trees for me. read more

I've been using this tree service for easily, 10 to 15 years. We called another guy, supposedly the best in the area, and he never even bothered to call us back. All Affordable has been nothing but professional, quick to respond, and their prices are more than fair. We called them the day of Hurricane Isaias and Debbie called us back the same day. By Friday our tree was removed. They left the property in immaculate, barely a trace of sawdust! The tree fell on my shed, my propane tank, my boat, and my neighbor's front porch roof. All Affordable brought a hoist, a bobcat, a chipper, there were seven guys working for six hours! The funny thing is, they removed the tree before we even knew they were coming! We pulled up in front of the house and it was gone, like magic! I highly recommend Debbie and her crew! read more

I don't know what to say other than I have never had such an unprofessional encounter than what just happened with the owner, Steve. Steve and his crew showed up this morning to cut down our river birch tree and just walked off the job without saying a word. Before work began Steve had mentioned that if he grinded the stump one of our inground sprinkler system heads would be damaged. I told him let me discuss with my wife so I went inside to get her. When we came outside together he left with the crew. When we called him to ask why he left he just said he couldn't work under these conditions. Literally the most bizarre unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. As an aside, Steve's daughter, who also works for the company and took our appointment, was beyond lovely. So sad to see a family owned business be ruined by the behavior of one person. read more

I can't even tell you how pleased I am with their service! Debbie came to do the estimate exactly when she said she would and was 100% honest, there were trees I thought were NG and she told me they were fine. She was very accommodating with me, the original scheduled date I canceled because it rained the day before and my yard takes on a lot of water, she was fine with that and completely understood. Called to reschedule and made sure my yard wasn't too soft. The crew showed up on time, they worked very hard and very quick. They did a wonderful job, cleaned up nicely, were polite and knowledgeable. The price was more than fair. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them. read more

They cut my neighbors tree down and it fell on my fence! I come outside and the guy is taking down my fence. I said what are you doing to my fence he said I am taking it down before the tree falls on it. I said first off you should have asked me and second off the tree is on my fence already. The hit my shed too. Then they dragged it off my fence ripping it down. Then I call the office and they said they would call me back after they speak to the owner and I called 30 mins later and they said they will fix it? Put back up a bent fence? Smh any want to see pictures let me know and I'll message you them. Disgusting how they do business. They are still here now cutting so I will give them til the end of the day to see how they fix it. But you all should know they should have cut the tree and lifted it off the fence not pulled it off. They don't care about people's property or over stepping boundaries evidentially. read more

We needed a large branch cut down that was hanging over my neighbor's power line. Steve told him $2200, then tells us $2400. He told my wife they would be back later to remove the cuttings from my front lawn. He made my wife pay the entire amount, made out to "Cash" and gave us no invoice. We made several calls and were promised they would come back that afternoon. This was on Tuesday. Snowed on Wednesday, cuttings are still on the lawn today, Friday. Nice job cutting down the tree, but poor afterwards. read more

1) This business has zero integrity. I am never hiring them again. Consider yourself warned. 2) The level of customer service and respect is basically non-existent. An estimate was refused for this so-called "emergency job". I was only told that "it would not cost much". The owner refused to tell me the invoice amount since it was being submitted to my insurance agent. 3) This is the most unprofessional operation I have ever dealt with. 4) If I was not onsite during the work, the crew would have chipped up the entire tree even though they were supposedly told by the owner to chip the branches only. The trunk was eventually cut into 16 inch lengths and stacked on my property only after I reminded the crew chief to do so. The owner of this business provides little or no direction to his work crews. This was also true during a previous job they did for me. I had to be the supervisor! I only used this company a second time because they provided a better price than competitors for the previous job. BUT I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! read more

We used this company on two occasions. Once where a tree fell on a rental property and once at a mini mall where we did a major clearing. Both times were great. They were extremely professional and everything was cleaned up when they were done. read more

Very disappointed in their service. All Affordable removed a medium sized Ash Tree and trimmed a Black Walnut tree in my backyard. They butchered the walnut tree without telling us in advance the extent of the trimming that they had planned to do. Poor communication led to our great disappointment and permanent ruin of what was previously a beautiful tree. Worse yet, they did a terrible job cleaning up afterwards. They left behind entire branches. They used leaf blowers to blow much of the debris into the garden surrounding my backyard. Two days later, I called and complained and they said that they would send someone over to clean up. After waiting all day, they finally sent someone over who spent 5 minutes picking up a few branches in my backyard. I spent four hours cleaning up afterwards. The tree service may be affordable however, you certainly get what you pay for. read more

The worst experience I have ever encountered. From the beginning when Steve , the elderly owner showed up looked at my job and gave me a price to just now when he stood at my from door screaming for "the rest of my money". He took down my 4 trees and left them in my yard for 3 days. When I called the office, I found out he doesn't talk to anyone. I was told he would come by for his money and look at the down trees. By the time I got home to meet him at 6:00, it was 6:02 he was in the driveway screaming at my wife for his money. I offered to give him 1/2 and the balance when the agreed to job was complete. He again started screaming that the job was bigger than he thought. Keep in mind I did not question his price or try to negotiate. I gave him 75% and he drove off. When I called to ask about grinding my stumps he said he would come by to look AND GET HIS MONEY. Well he would not talk about the stump grinding until I gave him his money. He threatened to have his men dump the trees on my lawn if I didn't pay him. So, having no choice I did. Then he told me it would be $450 to grind the stumps that was in the original price. I tried to explain people do not pay up front or pay a balance until the job is done. Do not get involved with this company unless you want to go through this. read more

All-Affordable was fantastic. I highly recommend their services. They came out soon after I called and gave me an exact price for the stumps and tree work. I approved the proposal a few days later and soon the crews were here and did a neat and professional job. There were many stumps and trees to be removed for my homeowner's association and neighbors have noticed the good work and already used them at their property and also had great comments about All-Affordable. FALSE ADVERTISING ! They will sell you one type of shrub and substitute it for another without consultation, and won't guarantee it will survive the planting. They want cash... perhaps to avoid keeping records?! Do yourself a favor and don't hire this company as they are not honest people. read more
