The men arrived and worked non stop to complete the work. It was amazing to watch at this included using a crane that lifted tree branches and trunk up and over the house. It was around 100 degrees when I contacted him, and he and an assistant worked two hours and more in that miserable heat 'til the job was done, and even cleaned up after. I wish I had a pool for them to jump him right then and there. Then last week Dave came to take down a cherry tree and after cutting two big branches, a yellow jacket bees nest was disturbed and out they came. He's in great shape and moved fast, but did get several stings and some cuts from the barberry shrubs, but he was determined to finish the job despite the closeness of the enemy. Using long poles, he gingerly finished the job and even managed to clean up before he left. Several things about Dave that as a consumer I appreciate is his work ethic--quick reply to inquiries, he checks out the situation, gives an estimate and approximate day and works with your schedule, gets here on time and works to get the job done no matter what. When he came out to give us a quote, he pointed out a few other trees that looked fine from the outside but actually had cavities inside. We weren't sure at first, but we trusted his expertise -- and thank goodness we did. Once he cut them, we saw insects and worms crawling inside and realized those trees were hollow and would have eventually fallen, potentially damaging our home. He truly knows his craft.
