Elite Tree Services from Kenvil, NJ did an outstanding job for me! I had 20 dangerous trees on my property that were either dead, diseased,or leaning over wires. Of 5 estimates, Elite Tree Services not only came in the lowest, but Alvis the owner spent a considerable amount of time with me walking the property and discussing each tree individually. It was his personal attention to detail and his professionalism that convinced me to go with Elite. When the day came to remove the dangerous trees, Alvis and his crew of 12 arrived promptly at 7:00 AM with a number of tree removal machines, including two 110 foot cranes, 2 chippers capable of chipping entire trees, a bucket lift, a skidder/bulldozer, and a remote controlled grinding machine to take out all the stumps. Together, Alvis and the crew worked until 7:00 PM and got everything done in one day that he said he was going to do. He built a temporary access road with the skidder/bulldozer to get his crane equipment behind the power lines and even took out a few extra trees for free that were in the way. The crew was so good that not even a twig fell on the wires. The crew placed thick plywood boards under the heavy equipment so that the lawn would not get ruined. In addition, the crew trimmed up the good trees we left for shade by removing the dead branches to make it safe for us to walk underneath. They even cleaned up the entire property with blowers, rakes, and disposed of the debris. The property looks much better and I don't have to worry about any branches falling on people or taking out the power lines. I can't say enough good things about Elite Tree Services. I have worked in the tree removal industry before and they gave a very reasonable price and did a great job. Tree work (operational costs) are more expensive than many people believe, but these guys gave a very fair price and delivered. I could tell that the owner cares about giving affordable estimates, so if you want them to be Very detailed , I'd suggest specifying this. Obviously this will entail a slightly higher price (as expected). For instance, if you are doing tree removal + stump grinding service and you wish to plant another tree there, I'd suggest telling them to stump grind a litter deeper (will cost more). Also, if you want more sunlight near your home (tree trimming work), tell them to trim more branches. Overall, Elite's crew was very professional, courteous, and performed as the quote expected them to. I did not feel whatsoever that I was being overcharged for 2 large pine removals. read more

Excellent service! We had a tree split in our wooded backyard, and it was leaning towards our neighbor's house. I called on a Saturday - they called me back immediately, and even stopped by on Sunday to assess the situation. They were very helpful and clear on what needed to be done, and they showed up 2 days later to cut down the split tree (they were so concerned about the tree they wanted to come on Monday, but I couldn't make it!). They cleared the huge tree from the yard without disturbing my yard at all (it's amazing to see giant trucks and cranes in your backyard, but not see any disturbance of the yard at all). When a huge tree came down this week Elite Tree Service came to my rescue. They happened to be in the area and stopped to give me an estimate. I was so pleased and luckily they were finishing a job and could do it the same afternoon. They were the most professional business I have dealt with in years. The weather was extremely hot but they worked 5 hours to remove the tree and clean up my front yard. I haven't seen work done this professionally in years. We got home from vacation and a huge tree had split in half- what was remaining was leaning towards neighbors house. I called Amazing tree service and Elite tree service (the owners are brothers). Someone came next day and the following day they showed up with many trucks to get the job done. We also had them take down other unhealthy trees and prune our much needed yard, They were FABULOUS! They were able to get to hard to reach places and were careful of other landscaping. It took them two full days to get job completed- they showed up early and left late. We called Elite as one of the three quotes to remove three dead trees and an extremely large ash tree. They came out quickly for a quote and got us right in the schedule. Every single person who came out was fabulous! They were all professional and nice. They even made time to wave and make faces at my 7 year old, who was thrilled. Elite was recommended to us by a friend. We got 4 estimates and Elite's was the best. They removed 3 large, 60+ foot wild cherry trees that had fallen into each other. They were also tangled with a lot of vines which made the job more difficult. They put plywood down to protect the lawn and had to work around our utility lines. The crew worked like a fine tuned team and finished the job in 3 hours. When they finished the clean-up you couldn't tell that they even there (they even fluffed up the grass that was under the plywood!). We had two huge trees that needed to come down. The one in the back yard was difficult to get to but with their large crane they were able take the tree down without incident. They left the yard so clean, you never knew two trees were gone. They were very professional and kept us informed during the entire job.
