They have been out several times now and I have had tree trimming, pruning, shaping and yard clean up. I am on monthly service now for yard maintenance. This week they removed our artificial grass, installed sprinkler lines, laid sod and spread 3 tons of gravel for us. Everything looks great and they did an amazing job! They wanted $1200 to do an initial cleanup in my yard and then $120 per service for bi-weekly maintenance. $1200 for any cleanup on a residential property is a flat out robbery, it's a joke. Not one landscape company had ever charged me that much money for a cleanup, not even remotely close. My advice would be to find another company that charges fair prices.

Redwood Landscaping, a business that is licensed bonded and insured, did a paver project for me in…read morethe fall of 2022. Redwood landscaping shorted me out of 400 square feet of pavers. The overall cost of the paver project was $14,000. I had staked out and tied orange yarn around the area to be pavered. I had to go to work before the paver personnel had completed the job. It was dark when I returned. It was not until I had assembled two pergolas on the pavers that I had realized I had been shorted 400 ft.² of pavers. I contacted Walter to let him know about his company's error. He was not able to rectify the paver situation until February 2023. I had not bolted down the pergolas. The pergolas were to be bolted down in the area of the 400 ft.² paver shortage. in January 2023 a gust of wind blew down the two pergolas. The pergolas could not be repaired. I suffered a loss of $3000 plus in pergola damage because Redwood landscaping shorted me of 400 ft.² of pavers. I am not in the landscaping business but from here on I will make sure I have somebody follow up on landscaping companies for me because they cannot be trusted! You should do the same! Sincerely, GKF

In hired Irrigation Repair Services to fix irrigation sprinkler system because of blocked/broken…read morelines. Worker recommended replacement of main valve / vacuum breaker upon initial inspection. I approved commencement of the work. Two hours later the worker said he had completed repairs and must leave and presented me with a $905.00 bill. I later realized that nothing had been done on the irrigation lines whatsoever. He had switched out the main valves and reduced my irrigation lines from 4 down to 2, but my Orbit was still running 4 lines at main control? All of my drip line heads had been turned off during the work but not returned to watering by the technician prior to his departure . That's important to know in this heat. You could lose all your landscaping. Nothing had changed. When I requested assistance from owner, Lance, he said he would come and inspect personally. A day before scheduled appointment he advised he would not be attending and original worker would be over to address my concerns.. I expressed the fact that I felt I was placed in an uncomfortable situation, having to deal with the same worker I originally had challenges with. I asked Lance if further remuneration was expected for any work to finish the job and he advised the original worker would assess the situation and make that determination. Based upon my existing experience with the worker, (who had advised me that he could complete any additional required work on the side at a reduced rate) I advised Lance that if any further payment was going to be demanded to complete the work they were hired for then to just cancel appointment. I next received a cancellation of appointment message via email from the Company. I priced out the materials used in the replacement of the valve and vacuum breaker at $200.00 cost retail. Based on the two hours spent on my system at a charge of $905.00 it appears that the companies labor rate averages $350.00 Per Hour. To add insult to injury, my existing valve was operational...perhaps not up to par, but it was not what I needed repairs on currently. The sprinkler system was what I hired them to repair. And the job was never completed. in the end, owner Lance was cavalier and condescending and could care less as it appears to me. Swindled and Sorry!

After getting to the end of my rope and coming to terms with the fact the systems needed to be redone, I reached out to Chad at Piped Right via a referral. Chad got back to me in short order to set up a time and date for them to come out for an estimate. When they arrived I walked them through the current state, pain points, and what we were looking for as an outcome. They were very receptive and easy to consult with. At the end of our dialog Chad provided a total time and materials amount that the job would cost which was very agreeable, all with a 3 year warranty! They were also extremely easy to work with on the start date. We concluded by him relaying that he would draw up the formal quote with scope of work and get it sent over. The SOW was very, very thorough and impressive for any type of contractor. From the beginning to the end of the job, Chad and his crew clearly and consistently communicated on arrival and departure times, progress, status, challenges found, etc. They also kept an extremely clean worksite, straightening up at the end of each and every day. The result was everything we hoped for: - A completely revamped drip irrigation system in both our yards. - Refreshed gravel in both yards. - Leveled spots in the yards from previously removed plants. - Existing plants and stumps were identified for removal. - Staged drip lines in requested spots for future plants. We have engaged other irrigation companies in the past with significantly unimpressive results. Piped Right was the absolute, diametrically opposite experience. I wouldn't hesitate for a split second to use them in the future or refer them to anyone in need of their services! They care about their customers and their work and it shows in every way!
