In hired Irrigation Repair Services to fix irrigation sprinkler system because of blocked/broken lines. Worker recommended replacement of main valve / vacuum breaker upon initial inspection. I approved commencement of the work. Two hours later the worker said he had completed repairs and must leave and presented me with a $905.00 bill. I later realized that nothing had been done on the irrigation lines whatsoever. He had switched out the main valves and reduced my irrigation lines from 4 down to 2, but my Orbit was still running 4 lines at main control? All of my drip line heads had been turned off during the work but not returned to watering by the technician prior to his departure . That's important to know in this heat. You could lose all your landscaping. Nothing had changed. When I requested assistance from owner, Lance, he said he would come and inspect personally. A day before scheduled appointment he advised he would not be attending and original worker would be over to address my concerns.. I expressed the fact that I felt I was placed in an uncomfortable situation, having to deal with the same worker I originally had challenges with. I asked Lance if further remuneration was expected for any work to finish the job and he advised the original worker would assess the situation and make that determination. Based upon my existing experience with the worker, (who had advised me that he could complete any additional required work on the side at a reduced rate) I advised Lance that if any further payment was going to be demanded to complete the work they were hired for then to just cancel appointment. I next received a cancellation of appointment message via email from the Company. I priced out the materials used in the replacement of the valve and vacuum breaker at $200.00 cost retail. Based on the two hours spent on my system at a charge of $905.00 it appears that the companies labor rate averages $350.00 Per Hour. To add insult to injury, my existing valve was operational...perhaps not up to par, but it was not what I needed repairs on currently. The sprinkler system was what I hired them to repair. And the job was never completed. in the end, owner Lance was cavalier and condescending and could care less as it appears to me. Swindled and Sorry! read more

Just went through the quote process with this company. The individual seemed very confrontational from the start and made it clear he was not here to repair. The individual wanted answers on existing system that I did not know and when I could not provide the answers he was upset and very condescending. After I told him we just wanted to replace front yard drip lines and sprinklers - he told me they would not be able to do the work because they have a 1800 dollar minimum which was the first I heard of this. What was frustrating from a customer point of view was there was zero input, suggestions or vision on how the job would benefit our landscape needs from this individual. Called IRS to have them come out to do an estimate for a new Irrigation system and emitters. Service technican David came out and reviewed the work and was charged $85 for a diagnostic/service fee. Online it states that "repair" service calls have a trip and diagnostic fee, however this was not a repair call. I have had 3 other companies out for estimates NONE charged any kind off. This fee is very deceiving and does not say anything about an estimate. Left a very sour taste in my mouth. read more

i would definitely not hire this company. I had IRS install a new irrigation system last month. Within two weeks I had a large water leak running down my driveway which my neighbors pointed out. it turns out that while they were putting in the system they severed the hose from my water softening system. i apparently have a warranty but they refuse to acknowledge they did it even though there has never been a problem before. I now have to call a plumber to come in and do an expensive repair and installation. read more

First experience was great! A girl used to take calls and handle all logistics and spent time to find the root cause and fixed the issue during my first engagement. But this time, when I called, I was asked to explain the issue I have and without doing any diagnostics, I was asked to book a 4 hour window to replace the valves. All IRS was trying to do was get their 4 hour window to get maximum out from their customer without even doing a diagnostic. What if the issue is not with the valves! My only point was to do a diagnostics for which I was ready to pay the service fee. Only thing that came out of IRS was to book a 4 hr service window. Bad Day for Lance over at IRS -- Reached out to get some repairs done on my water irrigation system. Lance reached out to me via email to let me know he wasn't able to get me that week but next following week. I reached out to Lance @ IRS and he was prompt with every email but later you will find he does not read emails thoroughly. After few emails back and forth trying to get something scheduled the end result was that nobody showed up. Lance says, "For us to schedule an appointment we need an address we cannot be there right exactly at 9 AM the best we can do is a two hour window 9 AM to 11 AM it would be so much Faster if you would call him to schedule the appointment if we keep going back-and-forth through email appointment will disappear" If Lance read the email through he would've seen my address on the previous emails. I do not call repair techs either as that is not my job to do so. His job is to make sure it's scheduled and follow through so we have an understanding. He completely ignored nor confirmed the time after I gave the Ok. My response to his email afterwards, "Lance I put the address in the last email but ill put it in this one: (My address typed out again) 9a - 11a is fine on May 17th See you then" Needless to the say - nobody showed up. Emailed Lance - he said he didn't schedule any one to come and this his recommendation was to call the office. If he read his previous email - he would've already seen that I agreed to his time and again I do not call repair techs. If this is how you run your business, it needs major improvements when it comes to communication. If you have a mis-understanding of what is going on - then maybe you should stop using emails as a source because obviously communicating through it -is not your forte. I recommend next time you put a little more effort in people interested in your services. Maybe just try sticking to phone calls when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure you'll get better results. I gave you 2 stars instead of 1 because you were at least prompt with your emails and you didn't even provide service. Also, when I asked you not to contact me again - You still did with a "thumbs up" emoji - Real classy.
