My glasses always break due to poorly being made. I've asked for a prescription for my glasses and contacts and was told it would be sent to me and it was never sent. So then when I ask again for my prescription it is expired and they can't give it to me. You're allowed to have your expired glasses prescription but not your expired contacts prescription. They also said they don't have my email in the system. But yet I have tons of emails asking about how was the service and when my next eye exam will be. I definitely will not return. read more

Had my first appointment yesterday. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. You could tell they liked their job and their coworkers. Eye doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions. We had a terrible experience at All About Eyes. My friend went in to get her glasses fixed and contacts fitted. They had her try contacts first so she was unable to just put the glasses on. As she walked out of the building, she pulled them out and they immediately snapped! Whoever had "fixed" them, had tightened them way too much. She immediately walked back in and they were not only unwilling to help, but were extremally rude to her. So not only had she not even left the premises, she had gone right back in after making purchases and was treated horribly to the point she was in tears. Go elsewhere and shop local. read more

I had been to another eyeglass store earlier & found it to be overwhelming, busy & spread out. When I went into the All about Eyes store, it was easy to look at & try on several different styles of eyeglasses. The staff was present & offered assistance if needed, but did not follow me around, I liked looking on my own. The very best, the selection is great and adjustments are not usually needed even with progressive lenses. Sometimes paying the "highest dollar" does not equate to the "best product", that is the case at Springfield all about eyes. We got my son's glasses at All About Eyes some time ago. They had the best price at that time, and offered a great service plan. The staff there is always friendly and willing to help. We have gone in for many adjustments, to have nose pieces replaced, and, yesterday, for a temporary fix, as the spring hinge on the frames broke. We are always in and out, and leave satisfied. So very upset with this location and how things were handled. It's been so hard getting an eye appointment anywhere in Springfield as of lately. Finally get an appointment and due to traffic I was going to be a few minutes late. I called the location and informed staff I would be a few minutes late. My appointment was scheduled for 3pm. She asked how late. I said maybe 6-7 minutes. She said if I wasn't there by 3:05 then I would have to reschedule! Very unusual, as most appointments give you a 10-15 minute grace period. I walk in the door at 3:06. Not one of the three workers acknowledged me, even as I'm standing at the desk. Finally the worker that's sweeping stops what she's doing to reschedule my appointment. Im like I walked in 2 minutes past 3:05. She said it didn't matter! I had to leave work early to get to this appointment in the first place and she informs me the earliest she can get me in will be over 2 weeks out. I couldn't do that so I left. I called back up to the location and asked to speak to a manager. I told her what happened and she said me arriving at 3:06 my appointment would of been almost half way over because appointments are only 20 minutes!!!! 20 minutes???? That's unrealistic. I said I know that ls untrue because my appointments last at least 30-45 and that's if I have no questions or concerns. She said no per their corporate policy, their appointments are 20 minutes and that's a favor because other places only have 15 minute appointment and maybe next time I need to manage my time better! The front staff were extremely rude! And that's sad because the doctor is awesome! I've already called corporate, but I feel as if my peers need to know how they handle things at this location. read more

Front desk staff is awful. Was trying to make an exam appointment for my daughter to get contacts, because I ordered them online, and they never shipped. Front desk said the prescription was expired, so I needed to make an appointment for her to get a new exam. I started to do so, and the front desk worker sounded confused, stopped right in the middle and put me on hold for 20 minutes. No explanation. When she came back on the line she said she was sorry, and something about how she just came back from vacation with her kids from Disney. No clue what she was talking about. Then she resumed scheduling the appointment and was trying to schedule it for the day after I told her. Again she was very confused and seemed totally not with it. I had to clarify twice whether she was scheduling for Friday or Saturday. Finally we got the appointment scheduled. I hope it's correct. Also yes, like another reviewer said, you can't be even a few minutes late for an appointment, even if you call ahead any more. Went through that already for myself , so I'm just going to find a new eye doctor for me. Hopefully they get the appointment for my kid right. The eye doctors are great, but good luck getting past the front desk service. Something is very wrong with that girl. read more

Hours are great for those who work. I personally had a great experience. My eyes were a simple fix and my glasses are great. However, things didn't go so smoothly for my husband. His eyes are much worse than mine and when ordering contacts, they took nearly two months to get in. They kept telling us they were coming soon and giving us dates that would go by with no contacts. I had to keep calling and calling. Turns out they were on back order the whole time. Which would have been okay, had we simply known. Very frustrating experience, but I don't believe it's the fault of the employees. They simply provided us the information they were given. read more

I live an hour and half from town when I received my confirmation of my appointment via text 2 hours before. I was 45 min away when they called to cancel my appointment. Excellent Service. I got my glasses there about 6 months ago and have been happy. Until summer hit. Then between sweat and a microfiber towel I scratched my lenses badly. I had bought the 2 year diamond coating on the lenses so that wasn't supposed to happen. When I took my glasses in, the manager immediately looked me up, verified that they still had the frames in stock and ordered a new pair. This is the way warranties are supposed to work, but rarely do. On top of that he also sent me on my way with a free sample set of contacts for my wife's badly overdue prescription set. I was really not sure on where i should get my eye exam done. I decided to go to all about eyes because they had some specials they were running. I went on March 2nd. I called that morning and I was able to get an appointment at 2 pm. I was very shocked they could get me in on same day. Every place I called I had to schedule a week out. I was a little sad because I didn't qualify for their specials. I really wanted a second pair as a back up but my first pair was already over my budget. I walked into this store on Saturday January 21, 2017, and Jeremy immediately acknowledged me by name. Pretty impressive since I did not have an appointment and am not in the store on a regular basis. I had contacts to pick up, needed a refill on my glass cleaner, and had an older pair of glasses that the frame had broken. I had noticed they still had the frame a few months back when I got a new pair of glasses and decided I would buy the frames to have a backup pair of glasses. She was wonderful and took great care of my initial eye exams. Dr. Francis was prompt, kind and efficient and had my exam finished in less than 15 minutes. From there, Rachel helped me out A TON in finding the right type/style of glasses for my face, my comfort level and my wallet. She was cheerful, funny and made me feel right at home. I was in the shop for a total of an hour from vision screenings to payment confirmation. Doctor was very pleasant and took interest in my extra curricular activities for which I must have the best vision, and he didn't hesitate to let me see 3...4...3...4... just one or two more times. I was hoping to find a particular style of frames for which I've long been pining, but none were available in the regular or clearance sections (I didn't look in the "designer" area) but was able to choose from plenty of other options. Come time to order, there was NO HESITATION when I asked for frames A&B to be figured-up with Insurance, and frames C&D to be figured-up with the coupon/2-for $ deal. In the end, I chose to save more than $100 over my insurance deductibles with the 2-for $ and am eager to pick them up. The offering of the deluxe lenses for visual acuity and extended frame warranty also add to my satisfaction. Our whole family will return. read more
