I had some extra time, so I thought I would take a quick peek at some frames, in All About Eyes. I was warmly greeted by a delightful young girl, named Cassandra. I made it clear that I was only looking, but I was interested in purchasing some glasses after the holidays. Regardless, she was such a big help to me in every way...... Giving her opinion, finding what she thought I would like, placing all the selected glasses in a box, and giving me all the information I asked for. She was highly informed, and quite an asset to the company...... A valued employee, indeed. I found eight pair of glasses, and between the two of us, we narrowed it down to three, and finally, down to two. Cassandra figured out what my total would add up to, for when I would return, after the holidays. I had bought two pair. Back in 2012, and was very happy with them. The more I thought about these glasses, the more I wanted to buy them now. It's a good thing I had my prescription and my checkbook, because I knew it was exactly what I needed and wanted. New patient 11/14/18 experience was an exceptional visit. Patient care was on full display in a genuine and empathetic manner. All associates, especially Dr. Charmi, took the time to explain all the "whats and whys" of the examination/testing process to reinforce that my visit was focused on my ocular health as a priority. Adjudicating insurance and understanding my options with a tour of the displays after the results were established was a patient and detailed one on one. Upon pickup only 2 full days later, Jessica on 11/17/18 enthusiastically greeted us with a smile before I even got two feet in the door. She ensured I was 100% satisfied and shared some knowledge to help me adjust as a first time eye glass patient. Having personally managed a health care based operation for almost 20 years, I can confidently attest that this team and operation has a "customer obsessed" perspective and are a gleaming representation of what great looks like from a patient perspective. All About Eyes is the best place to get an eye exam and glasses in this area. The staff is helpful and courteous. You are greeted within 20ft of the door. Dr. Shiyarwala treated me as if I was family. Next stop, Allie! Allie explained in great detail, what my insurance would cover and which products were on sale, in an attempt to save me the most money for me. Allie was GREAT, she explained the store incentives and reminded me that all decisions were not needed immediately. She actually gave me options, how refreshing! The price was unbelievable in comparison to my former provider, nearly HALF the price! With prices this low, I just might get a pair of prescription sun glasses in the near future! Very pleased with the friendliness of the staff from the moment I arrived till the moment they said good bye! Love of the potential of choices with little pressure of trying to up sale me. Allie took good care of me. Asked what style of glasses I liked and took me to those first then she also showed me other options. After my decision she was prompt to take care of me and help me make the right choices based on past purchases as well as what new options there were. Again, there was no pressure of trying to buy the most expensive. She was so friendly and so helpful and so knowledgeable regarding my needs. Recently switched my children and myself to All About Eyes in Peru IL. All wear glasses and contacts. The staff is extremely helpful with insurance and appt making. Two of my children just began wearing contacts and the staff was extremely patient and helpful with them learning to put them in, spending over an hour with my son. Dr Charmi was very thourough and went above and beyond, taking the time to explain how medical conditions may be affecting my vision and making recommendations to improve my eye health. I was impressed with All About Eyes. I had LASIK surgery in 2010 and haven't had an eye exam since. I had never been to a storefront eye doctor and this exceeded my expectations. Dr. Neumann and all of the staff I encountered were courteous and helpful. I also brought my daughter in for her kindergarten exam (her first eye exam ever) and she was very anxious; Dr. Neumann eased her fears immediately by explaining to her what was going to happen and why. I don't have eye insurance and I found their exam pricing to be a little less than other chains and definitely less than private practice. The nicest staff ever! I went in on Monday to try on some glasses and Alissa helped me find the perfect frames! She walked me through the whole store and let me pick out numerous frames, both of our hands were full when we sat down to narrow them down. She sorted them out and we compared each frame with similar ones until we found the one I love! She told me it would probably be around 5-7 business days before I they came in but I got the text only 3 days later!! I absolutely love this store and all of the staff was AMAZING! I have been going to All About Eyes, in Peru, for several years and I am always pleased with the care and service I receive. The staff is very helpful and they try hard to get their customers the best deal possible. I usually see Dr. Neumann, whom I think does a great job. This past visit, I saw Dr. Zajicek for an eye irritation. He was very thorough and had me come back a few times to make sure my eye was healing properly. I was recently at another local store looking lenses and frames and was so disappointed. They were rude and very unfriendly. Such a great experience from the time my husband and I walked in the door... the girls were so very helpful...explained step by step thru the entire process. Dr Neumann was great as she also explained what she was doing and took time with both of us. So many frames to choose from. I have been going to the Peru IL location for quite a while. I have always been treated like I'm the only one in the store. Dr. Neumann is just amazing! Very thorough and always makes sure that all my questions are answered. She makes me feel like I am the only one that matters. I never feel like she is rushing through the exame. They helped me pick out frames that were better than the ones that I had picked out finding that the "big name" frames were a lot less with my insurance! My experiances with All About Eyes in Peru, Ill has always been a pleasant and professional one. When I thought ineeded new glasses about a month and a half ago the Dr told me that I needed to have cataract surgery. I have had the surgery and have now come back here for my new prescription. We have been there several times for our glasses and contact needs. The Peru location has a good frame selection for kids and adults but unfortunately I can't ever seem to find saftey glasses in my style so i get those elsewhere. We always get 2 pair each visit and the cost is roughly the same as 1 pair at other places we have been to. The customer service has always been prompt and courteous.
