I got Lasik from Gailey Eye Clinic in 2020. It went well. However, now I am working on getting into the military again and need my records from them in order to get back in. It is a time sensitive matter, and they refuse to email my records to the recruiter or myself. They will only allow traditional mail or pick-up (I now live in Florida). Even though there are no laws preventing email. Gailey Eye Clinic is more than decade behind the times with this. Given that you never know when you may need to get a copy of your records, I would recommend not using Gailey since if you need them in a timely manner, you'll be screwed. read more

This is located in Ottawa Illinois , not Earlville any how The business is located on the second floor of the Old Carson's building downtown, and they take up the entire 2nd floor so the waiting area is very spacious. With that being said I do not believe they have updated any part of the interior still the old 1970's yellow carpet I remember seeing when I was kid when the store was open. The Dr. I had was very nice but the staff seemed very unorganized during my 1st visit and not much better during my second visit. I spend a total of 2 hours waiting during my 1st visit 30 minutes of which was in a exam room, just sitting in the chair. I am convinced they could cut the staff in 1/2 if they spent less time gossiping and more time working. The doctor was not happy with the results of seeing my eyes as they had be dilated before the exam something she said should not of been done so she asked me to come back. I was not very keen on coming back but the Dr. seemed like she wanted to know what the issue with my eyes were so I came back thinking they had a off day. They lost my appointment information for the second visit, thus increasing my wait time to about 45 minutes. All said and done I learned nothing no glasses no contacts to treatment I was charged for two visits even though they messed up in the 1st visit causing the second visit.
