We've recently had a horrible experience at a new doctor and this visit was a welcomed refreshment. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful in processing insurance and pre-surgical forms. Although we waited more than 30 minutes past our appointment to be seen, the office was accommodating and the doctors were helpful. It is extremely important to me that my doctor has an open ear to my concerns and I felt like this office accomplished that - while not pressuring me into their own agenda. Overall, I will need to make one more visit but will be searching for a ped closer to home.

The hospital let us know what to expect every step of the way. My daughter healed very fast and was not in a lot of pain. Great doctors and nurses!!! We went for our first appointment and he was very friendly and confirmed that she needed surgery. We scheduled our appointment with the anesthesiologist the day before surgery and then the day of surgery they do surgery in order of youngest patient to oldest. Her pediatritian was surprised how fast she healed. Medicaid is accepted. About 10 days after surgery you will need to go for a quick 5 minute follow up appointment. He's one of the few Dr's that doesn't try to max out your insurance (Thank you Dr Cheatham, Thank you Dr. Mammano) nor does he do the exact same technique on every patient. He's the only one that gives a real thorough adjustment! You actually heal from his care. He doesn't want his patients to keep coming back--he wants them healed. He's also the only one who EXPLAINED my x-ray's to me. (Never got that in Chicago). Plus, his adjustments are specialized to your unique injury--most chiropractors do the same thing on every patient--they stop adjusting as soon as they hear a pop. (That's what I hate about chiropractors--those are the quacks). Dr. Dan's adjustment style is the BEST, hands down. He is a patient advocate and is super affordable (esp for the uninsured).

Con is no Saturday/Sunday appointments for massages at this location. Upon walking in the place was a bit of a construction zone and kind of cluttered...but...if the massage is good I can care less. April didn't ask what she should focus on and that was my first clue this would be a great massage. From what I've noticed a good massage therapist knows where to focus when they touch you and she knew where to focus. I like my massages deep with a lot of pressure. I work at a desk all day and Crossfit so I want my massages to get into those sore muscles. She hit points of my shoulders that were tight and my IT band. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but she checked in on me, so if it hurts tell her and I'm sure she'll use less pressure.
