Accidentally left my reusable water bottle in the shop on Sunday and tried to call a half hour…read moreafter leaving to ask them to hold onto it for me to pick up later since I had other plans where I couldn't go back immediately. The call went to voicemail and they never called back. I went back at 4:50 PM (their posted closing time is 5 PM) and they were closed already. I tried to call again and no one answered. They didn't open again until Tuesday. I came by to ask about it and they said it had been thrown away by one of their employees because it had spilled and no one came back to claim it. Who throws away a reusable water bottle? Obviously it's someone's property and any reasonable person would think to hold it for at least a business day or two. I had called the store several times to ask about it and all of them went unanswered. I even tried to call back right after receiving their text that it had been thrown out and that didn't even go through. I had said it was frustrating that my property had been thoughtlessly thrown away and the store owner retorted that it was frustrating that someone else knocked it over onto their cards, as if it was my fault. Not to mention that their binder cards are grossly overpriced. Don't shop here

This comes from the pov of a collector and not a player…read more The employees are useless, rude, and ignorant (or at least pretend to be) when it comes to anything in store. Everything is "check the kiosk" doesn't matter if singles or sealed. "Check the kiosk" They have 2 so if they are in use you need to wait. Either a long while or until the user gets annoyed w how awful it is. The kiosk, in their defense its 3rd party, weaseled its way into LCS everywhere under the guise that it was serviceable. It's an awful unpractical gui. Assuming you speak w an employee you get attitude. I get it. You don't like your job. Most ppl don't. But it's still your job. You're not allowed to find cards so an employee has to and again more attitude. One particular guy I've dealt w multiple times (young Hispanic guy in biker jacket) is by far the worst. He gets the cards and won't let you see them. "No. Most customers don't know how to handle them." My brother in Christ you are eating French fries handling raw sleeveless cards. And when he does he holds them on his palm with his thumb flat across the face of the card. The couple cards that were in sleeves were in noticeable dirty and worn sleeves. When I tell him I won't buy any cards unless I inspect them first another employee (white guy in hoodie) asks if there's a problem. I tell him. He allows me to inspect the cards. One card has a chip on its face, I show the Hispanic guy, "it's hardly noticeable" I reject the card. He gives me attitude. Hoodie guy rings me up. This has happened twice w the same guy. Never again. This place sucks.

I visited Cash Card Unlimited in Topanga Mall yesterday and witnessed a truly upsetting scene. A…read morefather, probably in his 30s or so, caused a huge commotion over a dispute about three sets of collectible cards, maybe Pokémon or as I call them Toy Cards for children. I know this because he was shouting it through the rooftops where everybody can hear him.. His behavior was completely unacceptable for the public and towards the employees!! He was shouting and using horrible vulgar language, making it impossible for anyone in the store to ignore him. It was heartbreaking to see his young son, who looked like an elementary student, caught in the middle of this embarrassing display. The poor kid was clearly mortified by his father's actions. I know I would if I was in that kids shoes. Let me take a moment to give a shout-out to JOSH and MATEO. I only knew their names because the man was yelling and demanding their names to be publicly spoken while he was screaming at them. They truly handled the situation with incredible professionalism. They tried everything to calm this guy down, even while he was filming them and demanding their names. Honestly, management owes these two an apology for the garbage they have to deal with from customers like that. It looks like he even left a review yesterday as well maybe under the name Dj R because he put their images in his post and that's pretty much what they were wearing yesterday which shows you that this person lacks credibility not only in his posting but with his public spectacle. But I am not sure, it sure looks like him based on the toy cards. If I were you, I would never trust this man's postings or reviews based upon what I saw for a simple toy cards for an immature father. If you see this person coming around, I'd stay far away from him as he's probably a danger to himself, possibly others near him and we pray not to his child. Good Job to Josh and Mateo!! You deserve better!

Been here on a few occasions & was met with ZERO help. I even called here the other day to check if they had a card which I later found out they actually did have in stock. Which was a $250 I was willing to buy at price & when I called to check if they still had it, I was told "no I can't check for you.. there are too many cards in the display" I'm sorry what are you doing with your lazy self in a lonesome card shop in which I've never seen more than 2 customers in. Just lazy, incompetent and ill informed employees. Do better. This is such a stark contrast to this companies other shop on Olive in Burbank where the staff has been beyond friendly, helpful & informative. Sad to say, I wouldn't bother myself going back here unless there is significant change in service

We're talking about a very small store where he sat in the back and could see people walk in. I can understand not pestering people who are shopping, but his actions are downright rude. When I asked about the hot wheels, did he get up and show them to me? No, he didn't from his seat at the far end of a store. He pointed as if he had a laser pointer on his finger, which, of course he did not. I was on my way to a party so I wasn't really interested in looking over his cars to try to find the area I had to ask him three times he never did get up. I found out later his five dollar cars go for $1.50 at Ralph's. When I recommend this place? Hell no unless you like terrible service and high prices. I don't understand why he's still in business. Maybe it's a front for something else.
