This place is so interesting. I couldn't stop looking around at all the decor, everywhere I looked I saw something new tucked into one of the nooks & crannies of the place. It was raining when we went but the outside looked like a great place to be. There was one spot where you can shelter from the rain and they hung an upside down Christmas tree in it. The drink offerings seem to be a wide variety and good choices. I don't drink alcohol so I had my orange juice and seltzer which is one of my go to drinks if I'm not having a non alcoholic beer. Everyone here was nice and friendly including the bartender. I would come here again, a nice place to hang out.

The place offers live music occasionally and has a ton of space both indoors and out back to hangout, both with TVs in case you have any sport viewing you want to do as well. The drink variety won't blow your pants off, but it's got something for everybody and at prices that won't blow your pants off either. Although I didn't get a chance to try any of the food, from what I saw though it looked like good bar fare, and I in particular was eyeing the pizza. There's no dedicated parking lot, but there is some decent parking along the side streets nearby that shouldn't give you too much issue. This place is a nice change up from the typical scene you see a long main street. It might not be the loud and club like vibe you might be looking for, but for me that's quite alright. Would be happy to come back here anytime for a cold hard beverage and good conversation.

Now I've pervious performed at and attended over 100 open mics, at different bars, venues, houses etc, and believe me when I say this was one of my all-time favorite. All the musicians were super talented, the host was a pro's pro, and the audience were incredibly supportive & engaging. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.

Great people, selection, and good time were found here. Mike the bartender was great for suggestions if the selection overwhelms you. This Yelp however is about the place to pregame before the show and since I am unfamiliar with the area, I had to ask friends who have been there often what the available options were for me to explore. The biggest recommendation was the bar a few doors down from The Paramount Theater called Huntington Village Tavern. So far I have been here twice and since I don't know when I will be in the area again I wanted to Yelp something up. Spatially speaking the bar is nicely laid out. You have some hightop tables at the front of the big bay window that looks out onto the avenue, the main bar (which is rather long) and a back area that I think houses a pool table. I didn't go back there so am not 100% sure. Now my standard fare at a bar is a couple of pints of beer and not much else. I am not a spirits guy but the tavern appeared to be stockpiled with all of the needed good stuff for the customer who requires that. There is no food being served at the bar, but they allow you to bring in stuff to eat and right near by is pizza, some burgers and a wonderful Spanish food place. I went to that last one but that it for a Yelp of its own. The bar staff was congenial and served my party their drinks nice and fast. This was great since the time frame that I had to get into the show was not really much. I had a WiFi signal when I was in there so am assuming it was theirs but I cannot confirm that this is the case. I will definitely go back there should I be planning on an event at the Paramount. The only thing that does suck is the $50 card minimum, but there is an atm at the bar anyways. When its a slow day, its a chill bar. When its a busy day, this place gets jumping with a DJ and everything. My friends and I are semi-regulars in the summer because of our boat, and there's never been a bad time here. Beautiful view too.

I'm glad this isn't a common occurrence, but bouncers were presented with his ADA card with number, and he had his vest and tags on. Not sure how much more exists as far as documentation goes. I have since been able to contact a manager and they did apologize, but have not returned since.
