Dallas in the Round Rock location knows her stuff, and is extremely professional and thorough. I know I'm in good hands at Alite & with Dallas. I've visited for laser and electrolysis. Laser hair removal OF COURSE is awesome. Electrolysis has been around forever and is quite a tedious task that requires a bit of obsessive compulsion and patience. It's great for more precise and permanent hair removal in the brow area (where lasers are not precise enough for such a small area). It's also great for hair that isn't as responsive to laser treatments - light-colored and fine hair (white, grey, red, or blonde). Love coming to Alite laser for laser hair removal. I get the Brazilian picture and have been very satisfied with the results. I've had 9 procedures so far and now just come for maintenance. Cheryl is the esthetician that does the procedure and she's been amazing since day one. Always very thorough, nice to converse with very sweet. The procedure can be pretty painful because of the area being so sensitive, but I can tell Cheryl true to go as quickly as possible while still being as thorough as possible. I got a really good deal coupon in mail. So I went to this place. It looks like an independent house from outside. The staff is very informative. They actually tried to give me a half an hour class to explain the hair growing theory and how the laser will prevent that. They even showed me the colorful graphic instructions. For those looking for a great waxer, ask for Cori! She was extremely proficient with the hard wax technique- she chatted with me through the whole appointment (which really helped take my mind off it) and she shared that she's got something like 15+ years doing a speed wax technique, and no joke she got me in and out of there in something like 30 minutes. I had zero problems with my skin/hair regrowth afterward, which after a problematic wax elsewhere, was such a huge relief. As for Alite itself, it's small but very classy and the staff is very amiable. I had booked under the incentive of a Groupon, but due to a miscommunication with a receptionist at a different Alite location, I had been scheduled *after* my Groupon expired. I've only been there once, but my experience was way better than anticipated. Very professional, informative (ask questions), friendly, and fast! I paid the intro price to have my bikini, lower legs, and underarms zapped. Started with the underarms -- ridiculously painful (forgot to take an Advil beforehand), but by the time we got to the bikini and legs -- no problem! The results lasted MUCH longer than expected for only having one treatment. One star off for being so pricey for the full round of treatments, but I guess, you get what you pay for, right? Wow, this place is fabulous. I am so embarrassed to say, but I've been dying to have laser hair removal since I was a teenager. I've always had very thick hair on my lip and now that I'm getting older I'm getting some hairs on my chin also. I've finished my course of 6 treatments and am really happy with the results. There are a few stray hairs, but the vast majority of the treated area is hair-free, so pretty and smooth. I had Dallas for my first 5 appointments, but she moved to the 17th street location and another tech did my final appointment (I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't remember her name!). When Dallas switched, they did call to give me the option to schedule with her at the other location. Both techs were great, though. :) Alite's new location out by the Dell Diamond is super cute. I wish they had some photos up of it (the existing photos are of their old location in a refurbished house). I would still highly recommend Alite Laser to anyone looking for laser treatment. Love this place! Went for a their Brazilian hair removal and am so happy with the results! I was weary about going to them at first bc they were having a promotion where the first session would be only $27 and the in between sessions $100, normally $200, and last session $50! I have a friend who went to a different place unrelated to Alite and was very disappointed as they were having a promotion as well where it was $100 per session and only if with a contracted membership, which Alite doesn't require, and to make up for their promotion they used the very lowest setting giving her almost zero results and having to go back for many sessions. At Alite I'm sure the amazing technician used the highest setting as it was actually pretty painful, a good thing, and about 98% of my hair is completely gone! Now I do have pretty fine hair, but even so I love how much of a huge difference there is with just one session that was literally 5 minutes long! I haven't really shaved but just done some touch ups here and there in 6 weeks and the hair that has come in is super fine and spars! I go back in just a few days for my second session and can't wait! Highly recommend this place for laser hair removal. I'm thinking of getting my underarms and legs done here as well. read more

Cori is AWESOME! I went to Amore and they don't know what they're doing. I went for 6 treatments for coarse underarm hair and still had a significant amount of unwanted hair left. Cori is actually taking care of their mess for me now. In 3 treatments with Cori at Alite I have had significant results- very little hair left on my legs! I would rate my underarm and leg as the same amount of coarseness. I had a photofacial procedure done. My skin expert was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was well done (too early to know results). However, I did not like the lack of privacy in the 17th St. location. I arrived and had to put this thick numbing goop on my face and then return to the main waiting area where everyone saw me for 45 minutes. I feel a better practice would be to have been in a room during this part where my privacy could have been respected. Maybe they'll consider that in the future. read more

I just feel like she goes above and beyond sometimes and I appreciate her sincerity.
