My son getting his rods removed from the two bones in his arm.
Britney A.

My sons arm was so badly broken. She fixed it and it was like a miracle, he went from being in extreme pain, to not being in any pain. He didn't even take Advil after the surgery. She will always be an Angel in our lives. She is truly great at what she does. And very caring and kind. I hope to never have to go back to her ha ha but if I had to I would know that we are in good hands. Healing hands.

Dr Rozansky is amazing!

We had surgery! And another stellar experience with Dr Rozansky. She put all our fears at ease! She even casted our daughters teddy bear ;) highly recommend. When your child has an injury you only want the best! Dr. Alison Rozansky was phenomenal during our consultation. Hearing surgery is necessary in our daughters injury case was immediately put at ease because we are all confident she is in the care of a compassionate skilled surgeon. When we arrived at 10:45 for our 11 am appointment I was sure we would be waiting a long time. Front desk check in was smooth and pleasant. By 11:15 we had all ready seen the medical assistant had the splint put on at urgent care removed and X-Rays done! Dr. Rozansky took her time explaining our daughters injuries and treatment plan. She didn't sugar coat anything but also explained it in ways that did not petrify a 12 year old. I've read reviews about parking costing so much it's only 0.95 every 20 minutes. Will update review when surgery is complete!

A week after surgery.

Their orthopedic surgeon didn't feel comfortable doing it without our seeing a specialist. That was Thursday night. Friday morning we worked the phone to try and find a doctor. Friends referred us to Brookenthal. 1. FANTASTIC BEDSIDE MANNER!!!! REPEAT...SUPER FANTASTIC BEDSIDE MANNER. Hope you heard that!!!! 2. Demonstrated real compassion and empathy for the discomfort of my son (I've had doctors take the "buck up young man" approach to pain with my sons...that sucks). None of that ridiculousness here. 3. Loved the office staff...and actually you normally interact with the staff JUST AS MUST as the doctor...so that's actually important. Nothing like a bad nurse to ruin your already ruined day. NONE OF THAT HERE. 4. "Brings the cookies off the top shelf" approach to communication: Clearly communicated the situation with us, the challenges ahead, the next course of action and steps we needed to take. Walked out of the office with a great understanding of what we were facing. Look....I've got three kids and I REFUSE to thumb through the yellow pages or pick a random doctor out of my insurance company's list. REFERRALS ARE EVERYTHING so even though you don't know me, accept this as a trust referral.

From the very beginning, he took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. He paid close attention to all my concerns and didn't leave anything unnoticed, which really gave me peace of mind. Thanks to the surgery and Dr. Oheb's guidance, my hand feels so much better now. His recommendations throughout my treatment and recovery really helped and made a big difference in my healing. I also want to recognize his amazing staff--Judith, Jackie, Abby, Jenni, and Pamela--who were always friendly, helpful, and professional. They made every visit smooth and welcoming, which really made a difference during my recovery. A special thank you as well to Dr. Dennis, who assisted Dr. Oheb and provided outstanding support along the way. His care and attention did not go unnoticed. It was also very convenient that Dr. Oheb has offices in both Beverly Hills and Encino, CA, which made scheduling and follow-up visits much easier. Even though I live all the way in Corona, it was absolutely worth every drive. Overall, I'm truly grateful for the level of care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Oheb and his team to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate hand surgeon.

When I politely asked the front desk for an estimated wait time, I was met with dismissiveness and rude attitude. After I posted a review about the excessive wait, the doctor confronted me during my son's appointment -- in front of my children. He was visibly angry about the review and stated he would no longer see my son because I was "obnoxious." (Bc I left a negative review) then accused me of screaming at staff (never happened) while raising his voice, talking over me, and insulting me. Told me I should be grateful for him seeing my son who has Medi-cal. The interaction escalated into screaming in the exam room as he followed me in the hallway while I tried to leave. My children were scared of him. Being confronted about a public yelp review during a medical appointment felt retaliatory and incredibly unprofessional. Patients should not feel intimidated or punished for sharing their valid and clearly shared experience according to all the other bad reviews addressing the overbooking and rude staff problem. (The male nurses were super sweet at least) Proceed with caution and be careful sharing your experiences on yelp or you might also be banned for exercising your right to freedom of speech. Wildest Doctor visit of my life. I feel horrible for my kids and for the females that have to work under him.

The medical care was okay, but the customer service is one of the worst, if not the worst that I have ever received. I left numerous messages for someone to call me back in order to get a prescription for physical therapy, which was being required by the place where I was doing PT. After I left numerous messages and after calling numerous times and eventually pressing an option to reach different departments, I was finally able to reach a live person in the scheduling department. That was the only way I was able to get someone to call me back. I was finally able to get a new prescription for physical therapy, but not before I had to miss 3 weeks of physical therapy because no one from this doctor's office called me back in time. All of that doesn't even include the calls that the PT agency that also made calls to this facility to try to get a renewed prescription...no one ever responded to them. It's ironic that they're outgoing voicemail message clearly states that they will call you back within 24 hours. What's the point of receiving medical care from a place who neglects your medical needs. It seems unethical

According to the woman I spoke to, the doctor never finished putting in the notes so the things he said I needed are just lost? I called back and I get their voicemail. I have never encountered anything like this before. If this doctor valued his own practice, this would have been addressed immediately and they would have had me come in again for a proper exam and treatment plan. Now I have to see my doctor again and tell her about this (as well as file a grievance with my insurance company) and so she can assign me another podiatrist, that I'll have to wait for another authorization for.

Knee problems can just totally suck, they are debilitating, and I have family members who had them too, including knee replacements, so this runs in the family. Anyhow, we'll see where it goes but it looks like they know what they're doing! The only drawback is - and if you know Encino, you know this already - parking! You can park in Gelson's across the street, or maybe you can find street parking if you're really lucky. But if anyone working at Gelson's sees you using their parking lot when you're visiting one of the neighboring buildings, they will have you towed. I almost got towed one time in a similar situation (not Gelson's but somewhere else.) The parking for LA Orthos is the Hodes Parking structure on the same block as the building and it is $8 per hour. Actually that's cheaper than the going rate nowadays - usually it's $10-15.

The doctor diagnosed me with a 4-5 mm disc protrusion at L4-L5. To confirm the accuracy of this diagnosis, I consulted two online neurologists, sharing my MRI results with them. Both doctors confirmed the diagnosis and provided me with a treatment plan. Based on the reviews, I decided to visit an Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists, hoping for a more detailed consultation with a doctor in person. When I arrived at the clinic, I provided my MRI results and shared my story. However, the doctor told me that he didn't see any issues on the MRI and claimed everything looked normal. I was surprised and explained that the diagnostic center and two neurologists had confirmed the disc protrusion. He insisted that diagnostic centers can be inaccurate and suggested I get another MRI at their clinic. Naturally, I declined, as my existing MRI clearly showed the problem. When I asked for advice on what to do next, he simply told me to walk more, which seemed inappropriate given my condition. He didn't provide any effective recommendations, just printed out a piece of paper with some exercises. I asked him to assess the extent of nerve damage in my leg, as I had read that a doctor could evaluate this by examining the affected leg's response and comparing its strength to the other leg. I practically had to force him to perform these tests, as he initially just repeated that he didn't see any issues and suggested medications I was already taking, prescribed by other doctors. In the end, I left feeling very disappointed and deceived, as the doctor did not seem competent in my case. Additionally, I paid $150 for the consultation and was very upset by this. Be very careful when choosing a clinic.
