Dr. Namazie performed a balloon sinuplasty on both my ears and nasal passages. I have an extremely…read morelow pain tolerance and was honestly terrified going in, but he took the time to walk me through the entire process beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect. I was awake for the whole procedure, and thanks to the local anesthesia he used, I felt no pain at all -- just pressure. His gentle touch and clear expertise put me at ease the entire time. After a decade of searching for someone who could actually fix the damage from my prior surgeries, Dr. Namazie is the first doctor who truly delivered. I'm so grateful I trusted him to perform this procedure. One note: the office's billing and communication processes could use improvement. Thankfully, Luis on the front office staff was a huge help -- he essentially runs the office alongside the doctor and made sure my billing and communication issues were sorted out. His support made the administrative side much smoother. If you're dealing with chronic sinus or ear issues and have struck out elsewhere, don't hesitate to see Dr. Namazie. He's a true expert in his field. Cindy M

I took my daughter to Dr. Ali Namazie for a rhinoplasty consultation. Dr. Namazie was kind and…read moreprofessional, and we appreciated the time he spent evaluating her and discussing potential surgical options. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the billing experience. During the consultation, Dr. Namazie examined the inside of my daughter's nose. I later received a bill for a separately billed nasal endoscopy, which I had no idea was being performed during the consultation. The paperwork I signed stated that there could be an additional charge if a nasal endoscopy was performed. However, I did not understand that the routine examination taking place during the consultation would be considered a separately billable procedure. At no point during the visit was it explained that a separate procedure was about to be performed or that it would result in an additional charge. I've taken my daughter to several other rhinoplasty consultations with surgeons in Los Angeles and have never been charged either a consultation fee or a separate procedural fee for the examination. Because of those prior experiences, I reasonably assumed that examining the inside and outside of her nose was simply part of the consultation. I contacted the office afterward to explain the misunderstanding, but I was told that because I had signed the consent form, I was responsible for the charge. While I understand their position, I wish there had been clearer communication before the procedure was performed so I could have made an informed decision. I was also hoping to see before-and-after photos of the surgeon's rhinoplasty patients, as every other consultation we attended included them. None were shown during our visit, which made it more difficult to evaluate whether this was the right surgeon for my daughter. I'm sharing this experience so other patients know to ask whether any examination performed during a consultation will be billed as a separate procedure and whether there will be any additional out-of-pocket costs before consenting.

I had a situation where I needed a referral to an ENT. I called my primary care doctor and he…read morereferred be to Dr. Feinstein. I'm glad he did. First, I absolutely needed to be seen that day--if not, I would have had to go to an Urgent Care or an ER... not my first choice in the age of Covid. Let me break this review into two parts: first the staff and then Dr Feinstein. Staff: it's one thing to just call for an appointment in a week or so. It is quite another when you call in and need to be seen right away. The staff when I called in was professional, friendly and caring. I explained the situation, and the staff started a chart for me right away while on the phone; I was told to come in right away and they would squeeze me in. The staff when I walked into the office was the same as on the phone: professional, friendly and caring. It is much appreciated to get more than "insurance and ID, please" when you first walk into a doctor's office. So to the staff: thank you. Dr. Feinstein: the staff is a reflection of Dr. Feinstein--he also is professional, friendly and caring. Even though they squeezed me in, Dr Feinstein never rushed through my problem. He spent the time to explain was he was doing, told me expect to feel "x" so there were no surprises. Again, I never felt he rushed through my visit just so he could get to his next patient. Once my situation was under control, he took even more time to tell my a few things I should have at home in case the problem occurs again. I highly recommend Dr Feinstein and his staff.

This wasn't my first breast surgery, so choosing the right surgeon for my revision was something I took very seriously. I had older implants, capsular contracture, and needed scar tissue removed, along with replacing my implants and having a breast lift. Dr. Bresnick took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what could realistically be achieved. I never felt rushed or pressured. For my surgery, I chose 500cc Motiva Ergonomix implants with a circumareolar lift, and I'm truly so happy with how everything is healing and coming together. My breasts already look softer, more balanced and much more natural than they did before. I'm still early in my recovery, so I know my results will continue to settle and change, but even at this stage I feel very confident that I made the right decision. Dr. Bresnick and his team have also been very attentive throughout my recovery. Whenever I've had questions or concerns, I've felt comfortable reaching out and have always felt cared for. Breast revision surgery can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to correct issues from a previous augmentation. I really appreciated Dr. Bresnick's honesty, experience and attention to detail throughout the entire process. I'm very thankful I trusted him with my surgery and would absolutely recommend his practice to anyone considering breast augmentation or revision surgery.

Given that she was hospitalized and intubated at 13 months, we were obviously terrified and I advocated for a full workup. I specifically asked for a urinalysis to rule out a UTI. Marci refused and told me, "kids this age don't get UTIs." She told us we needed to ride out the virus. After SEVEN days of my daughter continuing to spike fevers and be in pain, I took her to CHLA tonight. She has a UTI. A urine test may have been inconvenient and uncomfortable, but it would not have hurt to rule it out. When a toddler has ongoing high fevers without an obvious source, sometimes you have to look beyond the most obvious explanation--especially when a parent is telling you something isn't right. I specifically advocated for the test that ultimately diagnosed my daughter, and I was dismissed. If this review helps even one child avoid suffering for an extra week because a parent's concerns are taken seriously, then it's worth writing. Shame on you, Marci.
