Very dissapointed in my visit today. I made a point to call-in my order early for pickup that afternoon (knew they would be busy). I got there on time and found that my order had not been plated yet. 10 min. later (I paid attention) my order was ready to go. Had to wait another 5 min. for someone to ring me out on the register. Regardless of short staff, I saw 4 people have a complete transaction before mine was complete. They came inside the facility after me and left before me. Let me start off by stating that I have been on a six year quest to find brisket in Georgia and I finally found it. They place it on what they call a Monster Potato and it lives up to its name. I've never been able to finish an entire serving but that doesn't stop me from trying. They're usually parked in the Kroger parking lot around noon but call ahead because they have dedicated customers that clean them out within a few hours. read more

Very little flavor. Tasted like I was at a Lubys or a hospital cafeteria. Decent price, though, and portion was good.

Cartersville has been in need of an in town legit bbq restaurant for years. For those who don't know this was a food truck that has found a new home. The menu is just as expected.. Baskets including pork, brisket, chicken, and even rib sandwiches. Also known for their monster bbq potatoes and bbq bowls. All prices are for the most part under $10 and good portions. The baked beans are very good and have to say the flavor of the meats here are pretty good. Her sauces not on the spicy side but still good. The good thing I see here versus others us the drive thru window and they are open till 7pm. Most bbq places in town close way before dinner if they even open. read more

I never made it to the food truck as I just moved back to Cartersville. I hit the soft opening of Alishas new restaurant and tried the low carb bowl. It was yummy. I wish I could have had more. Lol The decor is really great and I was most interested in the different choices she offers. Something for everyone, even chicken if you do not like BBQ or brisket. After hiking at Red Top Mountain State Park, my husband and I were both quite hungry and decided to give Alisha's Kitchen a try. I had the pulled chicken breast sandwich basket and my husband selected the pulled pork basket. While I am not a huge fan of barbecue, my sandwich, without bbq sauce added, was delicious! The chicken was tender and tasty and they weren't skimpy on their portions. The fries were crinkle cut and tasted great. My husband enjoyed his basket, too, and the amount of food we received for the price paid made this meal one very good deal! I would definitely recommend you give it a try. read more

Once upon a time, my husband brought me a pulled pork sandwich from this little food truck he found. I looked at my husband like he was nuts because he KNOWS I HATE barbecue! "Just try it." he says. "I think you'll have a different opinion about this." I roll my eyes and take a bite. And OHMYHOLYCOW what did I just put in my mouth?!? It was a mouthful of heaven! My husband was, annoyingly, completely correct. It was, hands down, the best bbq I've ever eaten. Since then, I have followed Alisha as she expanded her truck to include more menu items and then expanded her business to brick and mortar. I will continue to follow Alisha as long as she makes bbq! My favorite dish is the mac-n-cheese bowl with the rib meat, extra sauce on the side. The taters are awesome too. My husband loves her sweet tea. Best BBQ in Cartersville. My favorite is the monster tater with rib meat. They also offer a loaded mac and cheese bowl. Haven't tried it but look delicious. He only bad thing is the hours. Don't forget the peach cobbler. read more

So my husband and I found a reason to drive all the way to Cartersville just so we could try this food truck - very glad we did! This was awesome bbq - we had the monster potato with both pork and beef brisket (I'm not sure how anyone could eat this thing all by them self??) - it comes with ranch dressing, bbq sauce and cheddar cheese - it was soooo yummy. It was so big though, we had leftovers for lunch the next day. It's all about the Brisket! We ate there yesterday and everything was pretty good, but the Brisket was outstanding! They serve it separated and it's moist, tender and flavorful. This is a destination shop in an end space of the Goodwill center, you need to be looking for it or you'll drive right by. Nice friendly people in a small clean restaurant. Alisha's has been serving the best BBQ in Bartow County for years as a food truck. In June of 2016 she opened her brick and mortar location in the Goodwill Shopping Center near Cartersville Medical Center. I ate at this location today for the first time. I had the monster tater with the smoked chicken and it was great. I've had the BBQ before and know it is great. Next time I am going to try the brisket. Great place for good authentic BBQ. Great portions. The brisket is moist and delicious. The pork is also. And that mac n cheese is yumazing. The baked beans are just right, and the dessert made from Alisha herself is wonderful. She always has a different weekly dessert. Love it. This is an awesome place. People are really nice. Food is great. They have people lined up around the door. Great location. Just some seating. People do a lot of takeout here. I don't blame them. The food is really good. Pulled pork sandwich is really nice. Alisha's Custom BBQ Sauce is out of this world. The Baked Beans Are To Kill For. They are Fantastic! Coleslaw is just okay. It's the Kentucky Fried Chicken Style. It's ground up like dust. Recommend using the standard roughly cut standard coleslaw. The kind they use as a side or put on a sandwich. The coleslaw is the only thing that needs work. Portions are nice. Brisket was shredded. Do not recommend. It was too dry. No flavor. Even though it was a nice dry rub. Recommend they offer an oversized sliced pork and an oversized sliced brisket sandwich to the menu with a special bun. I know they could get a couple of bucks extra for each sandwich. And this is the old way. And it's very good because the sandwich is very flavorful. So portions, good location, nice people, great food. Can't recommend them more. read more

Not impressed. And especially what it cost. The portions are small. The fries were cold. The potato was dried out. The tea was good.

Usually little hole in the wall BBQ joints are exceptional. This place fell short of my expectations. I had Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw. They didn't offer a Pulled Pork Plate so I had to order a sandwich with no bun and a side of slaw. The price was a little pricy at $5 for the sandwich (with no bun) and $2 for the slaw. The BBQ and the sauce were okay but the slaw was very bland. When I walked in no one greeted me.... they just starred and never said can I help you or anything. When I finished no one said thank you or come again! I will not be back and I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends! read more

Let me say the Chicken Wrap is absolute supreme. I am on Weight Watchers and was very excited to learn somebody in the food industry is watching after us. Alicia has not only prepared this wrap, but she took the time to count the Smart Points for us. It is 6 smart points on the Weight Watchers scale and is so good it will make your tongue want to slap the side of your face. Yes, I'll be back again and again.
