It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. At the end of the session, before she blow-dried my hair, she gave me some recommendations of treatments that I can do in the future to make sure my hair stays healthy. She also let me know that she noticed my hair was quite dry and recommended that I use more leave in conditioner and hair oil to help with that.
