I love stopping in for a piroshky on their secret menu!! Sometimes they even have pelmeni. I love their variety of European desserts and everytime I am there At least 3 people are always picking up custom cakes when I'm there. A must try if in Tri-Cities! #lappdaddyapproved

What a delightful place. The moment you walk in you definitely aren't in Pasco anymore. The decor is comforting and colorful. If you love sweets, well this is an oasis for your taste buds. Walking in I was met with a nice greeting and smile. Since my eyes were fixated on all the sweets, I didn't feel the need to rush as I tried to make up my mind. I decided to grab a few macaroons (just because I love them), some cream horns, and a dish that I could only describe as a very delicious ravioli (Pelmeni). The experience overall was very nice. From the pear soda, pelmeni, pastry's and service, I will most certainly recommend this to friends of mine in the region and will be returning.

Visiting from Texas. Via Yelp I searched bakeries in the Tri-cities. Found this gem of a locally owned bakery. Wide selection of French & Russian goodies. We tried different pastries. All divine! The moist chocolate cherry roll was topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate mouse with glazed cherries. Pistachio macaron was amazing.But our favorite was the Berry in puff pastry/ Napoleon, in fresh chantilly cream, very similar to Whole Foods Chantilly cream cake. All of the pastries we tried are sweetened perfectly. So happy I found this bakery, I was craving for good quality pastries,and Aliona's did not disappoint. Will go back before I head home to Texas and sample the other selections.

I flew from California and bought a cake from Aliona's as a gift randomly. So yes I ended up being that person eating more from my own gift than the hosts, worth it. Now I only think about flying back there and have more cake. The balance between not too sugary, amount of cake and cream, is masterful. Congratulations on your amazing skill. I will be in Portland for the new year and yes I'm driving all the way there for more. So see you soon.

The European/ukrainian treats were really good and interesting... the cupcake and the rose pedal macron were so so. The service was great and he but in another macron for free given the other one was crushed just slightly without us asking. At 6:30 PM on Sunday the line literally was out the door when we arrived. read more

Super friendly owner. Wonderful pastries, and desserts. Owner even gave an extra meal for a pt on hospice that requested Pelmeni, slaw, and desserts, which they had not had in yrs. Such a sweet gesture from the owner. read more

This family run bakery is so much more than it looks like on the outside (it is in a small, unassuming strip mall in West Pasco). Step inside and you will be delighted by a number of cakes and goodies. The owners are friendly and personable, the atmosphere is welcoming and warm...the macarons are to die for! read more

Amazing service the owner took his time to work with us and come up with the perfect cake. We brought in pictures of different cakes and boy did they nail it. The cake was perfect and the macaroons we ordered were delicious. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Hit this place up based on the reviews and my craving for good pastries. Surprised to see the full pastries case after 4pm on a Saturday. These guys must do good business all day to keep the case stocked like that. All good signs! We took home a cannoli, caramel eclair, Italian tiramisu, and Russian napoleon. All were good with the caramel eclair on top as my fav. Great flavor, nice portion sizes. Light creams, not at all heavy or weighted down like so many other bakeries like to do. Potato rolls and cabbage rolls are so good! Wish I lived close by. Edit: Felt compelled to add to my review, because of what I read in the other reviews. One of the owners is from Moldova, not Russia. I guess there is overlap in cuisine, but there *is* such a thing as diversity in culture in Europe. Not to be taken for granted! Next, anyone who bases a review of desserts based upon the type of plate it is served on is either an elitist or an idiot. Some of the best food in the world will not be served on elegant dishware. read more

Such a cute little place! Igor (I think) welcomed me with a smile and told me the stuffed cheese perishki were his favorite and I went for it....boy was that delish! Perfect taste! I got 1 of each macaroon and wasn't disappointed! Loved it! Will definitely be coming back. read more

I'm in between 3 & 4 stars right now and basing this review off the dessert experience: I know this European bakery is the first of it's kind in the tri-cities yet I am a little perplexed at what I was served this weekend; I ordered two macaron and a chocolate eclair -the items were served on Styrofoam plates ...are we kidding right now? if anyone is trying to show off their product -a styrofoam plate isn't the way to show you care. styrofoam plates are reserved for BBQ's hosted at your church pot luck and meant to be vessels for deviled eggs, macaroni salad, and charred burgers, not delicate macarons. Dessert breakdown:] the filling on the macaron was overwhelming with cream cheese. although big in size compared to a typical macaron, very unsatisfying, and very strong on the creamed cheese flavor.. no bueno. the chocolate eclair was delicious, the filling fluffy and just the right about of chocolate drizzle within the eclair. I am so happy to see a new and exciting place to eat in Pasco! I dropped in just to pick up a little dessert to eat after my lunch but discovered that they also serve savory food as well. My goodness, I wish I lived in Tri-Cities, this place is fantastic! My sister and I were travelng through and happened upon it. It's easy to find, right off the freeway. We had a potato piroshki that was sheer perfection, capped off by an incredible napoleon pastry with fresh strawberries. This place is worth driving to the middle of nowhere for! We spoke with Igor, Aliona's husband, who was manning the shop that day, a really nice guy. He and his wife are from the old country, Moldavia, and you can taste it in their pastries. Highly recommended! Lovely shopowners, nice atmosphere and unforgettable food. read more

Like their open sign says "come in we're awesome". I had a spinach and feta piroshky and a cannoli and they were delicious! I didn't think of taking a picture until after I devoured them. I had a bowl of borscht here and it was the best bowl I've ever had! They don't make it everyday but when they do, you got to get on it. The pastries here are beautiful and they taste amazing. I have a gluten allergy and they are several options that are gluten free. read more

Fantastic desserts here! This is my favorite place for sweets in the Tri-Cities. Igor is delightful to talk with, and all the desserts we have tried are worth every penny. I bought the spartak cake for my husband's birthday. It was really good, and different from any cake I have had. The filling reminded me of the frosting my mom used for her red velvet cake (not cream cheese flavor). I would definitely recommend. I'm a macaroon fan so I bought a couple of those. They were the best macaroons I have ever had! The strawberry one was amazing. We will definitely be back. read more

I can't yet decide if it is a good or bad thing that this place opened so close to my house. My scale and waistline will let you know in a few weeks. Stoped in on a recommendation from a friend and after seeing a picture of their macaroons on Facebook. Pleasantly decorated, beautiful display case and super friendly staff. The gentleman who helped me took his time, explained different foods to me and was warm and helpful, really looking forward to several trips back. The food was AWESOME!! Have friends visiting so I bought a variety of sweets to try. The coconut chocolate pecan balls were amazing!! I'd come back for those alone, but everything else was so darn good. The macaroons were just as good as I hoped and the cream horns were a hit with my guests and my kids. What I loved was all the flavors and textures in the treats. Nothing was overpowering or ridiculously sweet and tasted completely homemade. Looking forward to trying more treats in the future as well as some of their soups, maldovas and piroshkies!! Five-star ratings are rare for me, but we had a couple of opportunities to sample the food here while staying nearby at My Place, and I don't know how it could be any better! The sweets are amazing, and the lunch choices (most of them seem to be traditional Russian favorites like borscht and pieroshki) are inexpensive and delicious. When I saw pelmeni on the menu, I knew I had to have some, since I hadn't seen any offered elsewhere for several years. They were perfect! My only complaint was that although all the tables were empty, most were needing to be cleaned. However, the couple who run this place clearly work hard-- can you believe this little shop stays open 'til 10 p.m.!-- and I'm guessing we just caught them at a time when they had fallen a little behind. read more

At Viera's you are able to pick out all the treats that you want--no side eye from the person at the counter as you try to decide what you want, etc. And the prices are right there in front of you--so many delicious deals! Last was the largest donut on earth that was hanging out on a tray that they were about to take away. Once you are done you walk up to the counter and they box you up and you pay. I wasn't sure if anyone would have like 32 cupcakes ready to be picked up since i did not order them before. But when i went in and told them i need these and guess what they had them ready.. i was so happy.. Lady at the counter helped me with my order.. and while i was waiting for my order i scanned through the store and it was so clean and it smelled so fresh inside. My son and his friends loved the cupcakes.. Oreo ones were everyone's favourite..

I went to view the African American experience with the Hanford work site and beyond. In the 40s through the 60s east Pasco became a vibrant town filled with homes and businesses in spite of the racism that redlined housing and business opportunities for people of color. I found the exhibit enlightening and engaging. I loved the small collection of photos, especially the one of the baseball players. I'm looking forward to seeing the map recreation that will pinpoint the locations of houses and businesses during this time and before leveling of them in the name of "urban revitalization". I am 80 years old and the more I know about our history the more I have come to understand that we have never been a kind and generous culture to most people. We can be shortly after a tragedy strikes but then our fears of "other" takes hold of us and we regress: Sadly so. I will return to this lovely, warm and welcoming place.

The fish was everything I hoped for--crispy, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with the golden chips. The coleslaw, which came as a side, was underwhelming and lacked flavor. But the real letdown was the clam chowder. It was more soup than chowder--thin, watery, and missing that signature clam richness. To make matters worse, bacon bits on top dominated the taste and masked what little seafood flavor there was. If not for that disappointing chowder, it would've easily been a five-star lunch. Still, the fish alone is worth going back for--I definitely plan to return.

You must try the borscht! It is excellent! First time I have ever tried this Russian/Ukrainian soup and I am hooked. My picky-eater child even gobbled it up! Everything here is made from scratch and obviously made with love and pride. This is a great place to pick up a pierogi for lunch. They have a delicious one stuffed with cabbage, something I would not normally try, but it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. And don't leave without trying some of their amazing desserts, too. Glad this establishment is so close to where I live, because I plan on being a regular!! read more

I've never had anything quite as delicious as the Spartak cake that they make at Aliona's Euro Bakery! I am simply obsessed and it's no mystery what's wrong with my scale lately! First day opened and my friend and I were some of the first customers. Authentic borscht and piroshky and pastries to die for. If you are on a diet this is not a good idea but if you love food like I do. ..This is the place. I plan to visit regularly. Try the spartak cake. OMG! melts in your mouth. Igor was a great host and the ladies in the back were quick with our lunches. Love this place! read more

Finally, we have an authentic Russian bakery in Pasco. Welcoming atmosphere, quick service. I recommend to try cake "Honey" and "Napoleon" also little chocolate cups with raspberry on a top(most delicious). Piroshkies are awesome and the pastry with potato is very good. If you see any cake you like just ask them to cut a slice of it. read more

So glad I can get piroshkys in TC now. Great selection of small dessert items that look amazing, and taste just as great. Try the eclair. Attention to the small details shows. Had a great experience with friendly staff, and nothing we ate was less than delicious. Definitely going to return to try the borscht. read more

Omg I ordered the strawberry cake and I absolutely loved it. Even my best friend who hates cake loved it. It was very fresh and moist. The icing was really good not too thick or pasty. The display case was full of yummy looking pastries and goodies. I cant wait to go back and try some more of their treats. read more

It is seriously like someone took a European bake shop and planted them here in the Tri-cities. They are a one of a kind place to eat. Very nice place! Igors famous multi-layered SPARTAK just gets better every time I go in there!! Also the CLEANEST eat-in bakery I've ever seen anywhere, gotta love it. I would recommend anyone craving a taste of Europe to definatly give it a try. read more
