Many thanks to my coworker who told me to check out Viera's. It was a better experience than I ever expected. Walking in I was overwhelmed with the number of sweet options that stood before me. On each wall were tall enclosed shelves that had a glass front where you could see rows and rows of deliciousness! I must've walked around the shop five or six times looking like a crazy woman before I finally picked up my tray and tongs--yes a tray and tongs! At Viera's you are able to pick out all the treats that you want--no side eye from the person at the counter as you try to decide what you want, etc. And the prices are right there in front of you--so many delicious deals! I was told to try a cinnamon roll, so that is where I went first. Then my eye caught a lemon Danish and that ended up on the tray as well. Last was the largest donut on earth that was hanging out on a tray that they were about to take away. Once you are done you walk up to the counter and they box you up and you pay. For my three items I just paid $6.75! This is such a great deal as this will be breakfast and dessert easily for 3/4 days! I love that everything here is fresh and not overly sweet. I was out in the area and was told about a Mexican donut/ cake shop. So I said why not see what the fuss is about this place. Walked in and you see donuts, cakes, croissants everywhere. There's more stuff there but not sure what they are. Took some pictures so maybe you can find more stuff on there. Donuts taste good as well as the croissants. The second you walk in you get this amazing smell of fresh baked bread. They have everything you could want. I got a decent haul of goodies while I waited for my tacos at the food truck just outside the main doors. $12 and I got a massive cookie, two cake donuts, cannoli, jalapeño and cheese bolillo, massive hostess style cupcake, chocolate croissant, and a coconut ring. Just look at the picture. Well worth the trip and I like that you just walk around with a tray and pick out whatever you want. Quick friendly service when you're ready. What a great find. We came here per recommendation. They have a huge variety of pastries, cakes and doughnuts. I tried quite a few and it didn't disappoint. All so good. I have my favorites. Whenever I'm in the area I will definitely be stopping by. I know exactly what I want. Very affordable too. There were only 2 staff at the time and it was busy but the line was moving quickly. Cute bakery with a wide variety of baked goods. It's like the Portos Bakery (southern California) of the Tri-Cities with a proportionate amount of cute looking desserts. They offer all sorts of doughnuts, cakes, and cookies. My favorites were the jam filled shortbread cookies and the chocolate chip shortbread cookies, and some of us liked the chocolate cake and pumpkin and berry doughnuts. The chocolate croissant was delicious and fresh and tender, I could go for more chocolate in the center although I could always go for more chocolate Friendly cashier and good service as well. I've been told about this bakery and decided to cheat on my diet. Best decision ever! I had the Boston cream donut, a red donut (I'm not sure if it was a blueberry or cherry, but so good), a cinnamon roll with homemade cream cheese frosting and a blueberry scone. The price is great, fantastic selection, quick check out despite being moderately busy. Hubby got a huge Bavarian filled donut, which was a meal, albeit an unhealthy meal, in and of itself. His eyes were definitely bigger than his stomach, lol. He saw the size and had to have it, though when he ate it, he said he probably could've had a smaller one! He said dough was consistent and the filling ample. I had a chocolate cake donut and I thought it was dry and not too tasty. The worse part of the experience was not only did they put it in a styrofoam container, but then they put the styrofoam container in a plastic bag! So much unnecessary packaging! For the young lady at the register and the young men mopping on August 6,2022 around 6 pm. Fix your attitude. Or find a different job if you hate it so much. I love the bakery and there baked goods, but for customer service they are the worst. Especially the girl at the register, my mother asked for plastic silverware for a pastry that we bought and she only pointed her to where it was without saying a word or nothing. Not a Welcome, goodbye or thank you over the time period that we where there. I bet is the owners daughter and if that's going to be her business passed from there hardworking parents she needs to fix those small things or it's going fail. -Treat them how you wanna be treated and also give the same energy back. read more

This place was recommended to me by my Airbnb hostess and her eight year old daughter. They raved about how amazing it was. "Donuts as big as your head!" exclaimed my hostess' daughter. Boy were they right! I've been three times in four days during my trip. I've tried a lot of different products and everything is delicious. I've even had croissants in France and their croissants are epic. I assure you nothing is sub par and it's cheap!! The staff is nice too. This place is great if you are looking for a quick way to pick up a bunch of big-*ss doughnuts for a good price. However, be warned, there are some trays of pastries that really does not have any signs on them...so if you are the adventurous type, grab one! Watch out, the staff in the back are friendly but they may not know what type of pastry it is if you ask in English. Also forewarned, if you happen to be picking up a box of assorted pastries for work and you require a receipt for reimbursement, the cash register is simply a glorified calculator so you'll need to make sure you request a hand-written receipt...oh and you might need to request that in Spanish. Overall, the pastries are actually not bad, the best part is that the sweetness level is not excessive. I had a slice of chocolate cake and it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. 2 thumbs up for the ham & cheese and ham & jalapeno goodness. Oh yes, pay no attention to the big *ss display of prices - they DO NOT APPLY to the price list of your pastries, doughnuts or slices of cakes. Train your eyes to look below the big *ss sign and find the 8x11neon green sign which actually has the prices for your sweet doughnuts and savory pastries in case you'd like to exercise your mind and do some calculation in your head. Pros: -good assortment of drinks (if you want it, they've got it) -huge selection of donuts, pastries, breads, muffins, stuffed croissants, and mexican pastries -totally clean -huge bismark donut! I looked at the register really quickly, but didn't see any prices for donuts/pastries/muffins. Not really a big deal, but for those on a budget, it's would be nice to have a clear posting on the cases. -While many items were labeled, many were not. I probably would have bought more things if they weren't so mysterious. -some of the pastries I tried were a little dry, but the bismark made up for it. I think next time I'll just get donuts and not bother with the pastries. -Every cookie I tried was dry and hard. :( -One of the ladies who works there is not very friendly at all. Hello heaven!! I'm a sucker for pan dulce. I love the pink and brown croissant shaped ones. I actually have no idea if they have a special name because I grew up calling most of those items pan dulce. I was a little disappointed by the round pink sandwiches with coconut on top. They usually have an amazing filling but when I got home and pulled them apart there was very little filling. I nibbled on almost all the pieces we brought home and I must say that this is really good pan dulce! The space is pretty large and open and it got me thinking that perhaps they need more cases of pan ducle :) Definitely recommend if you are in the area! read more
