This place is a definite Sunday ritual for me, me gusta!!! Tres leches cake, churros, arroz con leche, cream cheese jalapeño bread.. yum yum yum... Also a huge assortment of various other cookies, pastries, etc. I like the one in east pasco a little better due to the overall atmosphere, but the food is the same. typically head there on the weekend. it's usually crowded but always seems to be an amble supply of everything...not to say that people aren't buying...they just do a great job of keeping things available. When you go, head straight to the counter and pickup a tray and tongs to select your donuts with. It's likely you'll have to squeeze past people in line to get to the trays, but go for it; they'll let you! There are no paper things to put between your donuts or on the tray so don't look for them :) Once you have your tools, it's time to make decisions. In a place like this, everything is good and it would be hard to go wrong with anything you choose. I recommend this one that has cornbread in the middle of it...... delicious. Maple bars, chocolate covered plain cake, these donuts are huge! I think the donuts end up being about $.75 - $1.25 each (don't quote me on that) :) There are a few things you may have to wait until the counter for, those being smaller cake donuts with sprinkles (more familiar donuts), and the churro's. The churro's are amazing! Crispy on the outside, slightly doughy in the middle...yum! It's tempting to get one of everything here at Viera's, but my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I know I can always come back for more, fresh, donuts again! read more

I've always thought it gross that the donuts sit on racks by the doorway and totally exposed. Thoughts that people can sneeze on them, children touch them, etc run through my head. I always try to ignore those thoughts but this last time I visited, I saw flys landing on the donuts. So now my thoughts are reality and it just grossed me out so much that I don't think I'll go back. Plus the staff there aren't always friendly. They act clueless when you ask questions. There isn't any prices on the pastries, so you just have to except what they ring up. They really need to have the donuts in see through cases and not on racks totally exposed to whatever because that is just gross. read more

Consistently good. A must stop place for every trip to "old" Pasco. I personally prefer the ambiance of the original store. The only time I was disappointed here was when I showed up too late in the day and couldn't find a few of my favorites. A few things to remember: It's a panaderia. Some reviewers seem surprised that everything is estilo Mexicano. If you don't know the routine, refer to Corey G's review for instructions. If you can't figure out what it is, just ask. A little Spanish helps, but isn't essential. If you still can't figure out what it is just buy it and try it. You may discover a new favorite food. A must stop when in Pasco, or even passing through. Several of the items we bought had a wonderful flakey croissant-like dough. High on our list was the pastry stuffed with ham, onion, and jalapeno, mouth-watering! Odd, but very good: the cream cheese and jalapeno stuffed pastry. I was not impressed with the jelly stuffed pastries, these seemed overly sweet and the taste was too far from the real thing. One big improvement Viera's could make is putting up signs for each of the items, very few things were marked and we ended up having to wait for a while till we could get someone to tell us. read more

YUM. I have a weakness for all baked goodies. Some of these baked goods are not in my taste, and others send my tastbuds into the stratosphere. The best part of this place is the colors that entice me as I walk around with tongs and tray. I never get as much of this stuff as others. While I was there today, about four others went around and piled 20-30 pastries on top of their trays. This confused me, but it looked fun. I had a sort of cream and jam number on some flaky pastry. IMO NOT the best bakery in the Tri-Citites. I bet Fransico off of Clearwater does a better job with his mexican breads and Mexican delights than this place in Pasco. This bakery has been hit and miss for me. I purchase tortas on a regular bases and the texture and wellness vary every time I purchase them. Some times vey light and fluffy. Other times the bake items are burnt and seem like they did not rise. It seems quality control is not a top priority for his bakery. When purchasing here I would definitely look at the bottom of he baked good to make sure the item is it burned. read more

They have a vast selection of other items (cookies, muffins, cakes, parfaits, etc) as well. The crew is very friendly. Wish they'd get that espresso machine working though. Very interesting visit at this bakery..myself and another customer were looking at the Variety of breads and doughnuts and i did not see any prices , i went to the front checkout counter to check a price list? Nothing...so i asked an employee about a price list and she started giving prices anywhere form .85 doughnuts to 1.25 to .75 and on and on and so i gathered my items only to hear the next customer who was inquiring on prices as well. So..after waiting for sometime to have my items rung up, i asked the employee..why don't you have a price list for customers somewhere so that we do not need to ask. Her response was..well we can't...caught herself and then said well. It's because we have so many different items and the prices change..i asked her to repeat as this was an "odd" thing to hear. I let her know that the whole thing was strange, it was well.."weird", she looked very surprised as to why this was "weird" and i let her know, do you walk into the stores or into a Mcdonalds and ask their pricing on items?? Well...we don't. So..am i the only one who has inquired on pricing or curious as to why they are running their business this way, have others been just as curious? Are we paying more than we should,..are..we paying what they choose to charge us for the day?? Something to think about..for now i will just go to yokes and get a box of a dozen fresh made doughnuts with no flies flying around the case for no more than $5-7. Or another bakery that makes the same breads, pastries in Pasco which has been around for many years and i can get "3" bags of various fresh made breads at no more than $7 and the prices do not change. Be cautious of this bakery, until they list prices for their customers on items i will not be taken advantage of. read more

go to place to get donuts. my favorites are the round maple glazed one and the chocolate glazed one with the little round sprinkles on top (sprinkles make everything better- maybe a maple with sprinkles would be fantastic!) i recently tried a huge cinnamon roll and i was not disappointed. fresh, soft, sweet, everything you can wish for in a cinnamon roll, topped with a delicious frosting. dare i say it is the cinnamon roll that dreams are made of. thank you for making yummy treats that make me fat and happy. read more

The best paneria I have been to including Los Angeles and Tacoma bakeries. The Empanadas are so soft and fresh and the cream filling had the best flavor of any empanada. Sometimes the filling starts to become solid and harden, but even a day after buying from here it was still creamy. The shortbread cookies are addicting. I wish I had bought more and tried a bigger variety. I also really appreciated the big selection and cleanliness. Will definitely stop here anytime I'm in the area. read more
