I went first to 2 different places to get my F-150 with 22 " rims align with no success.I called ken and he told me to bring it in.He worked on my truck for about a hour.I was a little concern that he wouldn't be able to correct the alignment because the other 2 places I went told me that's the best they could do. Took my lowered corvette c7 here for an alignment because my previous tires wore out fast and very uneven. Had my appointment made and within 5-10 min, ken took the car out for a quick test drive to pinpoint what was wrong. The entire process was pretty quick. 30-40 minutes. He explained what was wrong with the alignment and even explained to me about getting more mileage out of my tires. Many shops have alignment equipment, few shops have a good techs who knows how to use it. Kens Alignment Factory is the best in South Florida if your looking for a spot on alignment. He also carries the newest Hunter Hawkeye Elite Alignment machine and has it calibrated correctly and often. (I actually called the district Hunter Machine service manager who confirmed this). This was a major selling point for me as it is the best and most accurate system in the US market. I have owned many sports and track cars over the years and often need very precise alignments done. It is extremely hard to find someone whose willing to take the time and attention to detail to get things perfect, a place where I can give specific numbers and have them dialed in Exactly. Ken and his assistant spent two full hours troubleshooting my car and didn't charge a cent over $50. I came in because the car was pulling to the right, and after identifying uneven wear on the front tires and a defect in a rear tire, they swapped tires around and took at least three test drives to try to correct the issue. Ken was very informative and painted a clear picture of what was going on and what my options were. He never pushed me to make a decision, and even included the options that wouldn't make him any money. He is a perfectionist to be sure, which is great! The owner Ken Haiden has been doing nothing other than alignments in his shop for 30 years. I found him by checking out car enthusiast blogs and it seems that a lot of people who do Auto-X racing go to Ken for alignments on their race cars. When you arrive you will find a tidy shop with 2 alignment stations and little else, except for tool boxes and an assistant technician who helps Ken with the alignments. The first thing Ken does is to test drive your car to establish it's baseline condition. Ken uses the test drive to establish a first hand perspective on what's wrong with the car. In my case he figured out that the steering was off-center to the left, and that this was exaggerated by the vehicle pulling slightly to the right which meant the driver had to correct even further to the left. In addition he identified a radial pull which could be corrected by swapping tires. This is excellent procedure and insight - and something the car dealers and other places don't do. By doing the test-drive - Ken makes this a practical problem solving exercise not just a theoretical exercise. The rest of the process is similar to other shops. Stuff is attached to the car and preliminary readings are taken. Then he begins the slow and thorough job of getting all the readings to the optimal specification. Ken is a perfectionist - he emphasized "Being in the green is not enough". He works at it until he has no cross camber, and all other settings are perfect, not just close enough. Ken then took the car off the rack and drove it again to check its perfect. Some people mention that it sometimes goes on the rack a second time. In my case he didn't think it was necessary. As I was driving back, I noticed that the car drives better than even when it was new. He really has done the perfect alignment. I thought the car drove well before, but now its incredible how precise the steering feels. Its perfectly on center and the car responds with precision and razor sharp response. It's outstanding. As if this isn't impressive enough, the service was great value too. It was $85. That's $15 more than what Sears charges, and half the price I paid at the Lexus dealer. OMG!!! My car feels great after I took it to get it aligned!!! A few days before I had to get new tires and brakes and wanted to do the alignment. After getting the tires from Costco at SW 120th street, I asked the technician on recommendations for an alignment shop. He told me about Ken. Then after seeing Mitesh P's. review, I immediately called Ken, the owner and I asked him how much he charges for an alignment. He then asked me: "What kind of car is it?" "What year" "Size of the tires? And are they new?" "Is it lowered." That is how thorough that man was. Then when he gave me the price? My jaws dropped: $49.95!!!! I paid bloody $40 more in the past with Goodyear, Tire Kingdom(props for TK as I never had a problem in terms of alignment) and a mechanic shop I used to go!!! During the short wait of my car, I was able to chit chat with Ken when he came in the office on and off. I got a great feeling about this guy and his professionalism. Also he credited me for getting Michelin Tires :) which he enjoys better then Goodyear (my previous tires). I have been to Alignment Factory many many years ago when I was single and driving a Corvette. Ken was the only one that touched my Corvette when it came to alignments. After many leased cars and not having to do alignments or not caring, I decided to buy a Toyota Venza. When it was time to buy tires due to excessive wear on the outer edges, I knew I needed an alignment and the only person that came to my mind was Ken. I was worried that he had retired or sold the shop but low-and-behold Ken was still there. As I remember from the past, he is typically booked all day so don't waste your time driving over if you do not have an appointment. You have to call him 10 minutes before 8am and he will tell you if he has any openings for that day. Expect getting a busy signal so get the redial button ready. As the previous reviews stated, he will ask you questions about the issue you are having and even ask what pressure do you keep your tires at (how many people know that) LOL. When my car buddies told me the only place In Miami to get a perfect wheel alignment is to go to the"Alignment Factory ". I had one of my classic cars at a car show and the topic of alignment came up. I had an accident with my '11 Jetta directly into the left wheel. The guy that did the collision work got the car rolling but I continued to have issues with the alignment for weeks, while chewing out tires. Completely dejected as the repairs I was getting done, wasn't fixing it - I took it to Ken, and I got lucky I got there when he wasn't busy, and he drove it, threw it up on the lift - sent me out of there with a solid diagnoses, that took me back to my tire, and alignment guy to fix it for free. Ken never charged me for the 20 minutes or so that he spent with me and the car. You can't call me a satisfied customer, because he would have to take my money for that. I was very quickly going through a brand new set of tires. I had an alignment done when I bought the tires, control arms, and struts. If you have modified suspension, PLEASE GO TO THE ALIGNMENT FACTORY! I recently lowered my car and added new wheels and tires. The place that did the install also had an alignment machine and recommended I do an alignment. No problem! They had a very new (expensive) alignment machine, so I felt comfortable paying the $80 cost. Well that was where it began! The tech who did the alignment screwed up my car. Each time I went over a bump in the road, the rear of my car would wiggle/shake. It never did this before! I called Ken and after a few questions I was able to get in and have my alignment done. During the alignment Ken explained how the suspension in my car operates and why it was feeling the way I was experiencing. It turns out that the tech toed my wheels in like duck feet! He also cambered my tires outward as if it was "on tippy toes". After Ken completed the alignment, the test drive made all the difference. My car was even better than before! Ken dialed in my suspension to the most optimum settings. I am recommending this place to as many people as possible!
