My favorite Pizza Joint for over 32 years!!! How disappointing last night was. All we ever order is their antipasto salad and a large pizza. Every so often we need to send the pizza back and they are great to correct it. Well last night we had to send it back twice. First time over cooked and second time under cooked. I asked if their normal cooks were missing. No they weren't. Mind you they took it off the bill. BUT - We didn't get to eat any of it. They said it would take too long to get another one (they were slammed - take out). So needless to say this is the first time we didn't get to eat our favorite pizza!!!!! I told my family I didn't want to go to the same restaurants we always go to. We ended up back at the Alibi. It was a very busy Saturday night and we were still seated in less than 15 minutes. Worst dinning experience I have ever had. Poor quietly food-but that was nothing compared to the service. When I was unable to eat my dinner and the waitress asked if everything was ok, I said no and before I could say why, she asked if I wanted dessert and when I said no again, she walked away. We went to dinner for my dad's 76th birthday and had to wait for a half hour in an empty restaurant due to the fact that the last person in our party wasn't there yet. I realize they have a policy but the restaurant was empty and my parent's are elderly. Also when my dad asked about being seated prior to the other person arriving the manager was dismissive and a jerk. I would not recommend this place to anyone they are rude and need to look at the policy with common sense. Also the one hostess was dressed completely inappropriate with see through tights which were ripped and a not long enough top. We have eaten here quite a few times for lunch takeout at work. We've had a few instances where all of our food wasn't given to us and we didn't find out until we got back to the office. Today we had an instance where a co-worker was told they could order a particular item over the phone, but when we went to pick it up we were told different. Also, the cole slaw was missing from the pulled-pork sandwich order. They charge you over $5.00 for an individual Greek salad and it hardly had any feta cheese on it and it was super small. I used to really like the Alibi but I am thinking that we will be less frequent customers because this kind of stuff keeps happening to us. read more

Simply put, some of the best pizza you will ever eat. However, the challenge is trying other menu items. For the first year I went to Alibi's I ALWAYS ordered the pizza, and I loved it each time, but I was pleasantly surprised how good the pastas, sandwiches, and prime rib are as well. We had a party of 18 that tried to have dinner on Sunday. I showed up almost an hour early (driving 45 minutes to the restaurant) since they don't accept dinner reservations. I was told the whole party had to be present to be seated. My husband and I had planned on ordering appetizers and drinks while we waited. So he had to go to the bar to get an appetizer and drink. I'm disgusted we spent any money there. In the meantime the manager walked past the hostess stand several times telling them to make sure not to seat us. When the party did arrive they still couldn't seat us, wanted to split us up. They had an hour to make this accommodation. Also a couple of servers walked by while I waiting griping about being sat again or being sat a party of 10. If you don't want to wait on your customers find other work. This a reflection on the poor management team as well. This business has terrible customer service and attitudes. Usually I don't have problems here but recently I have been faced with bugs in my food, hair in my food, and the workers being extremely. One time I found flying ant in my spaghetti so I went back up there and told them about finding a bug in my food hoping for another spaghetti that didn't have a bug in it but instead the work just sighed and said "oh yeah we had a bug problem" and I didn't get any kind of refund. read more

Pizza is amazing!!! My husband has to get the fish & chips almost every time, he says best ever. Over Christmas we had a party of 12 and although they don't take reservations my husband & I got there first and we had no problem putting are name on the list. Once are entire party was there it was not long at all and they seated us. The place at Christmas is unbelievable, they must hire professionals to decorate. The Alibi is amazing! If I could pick it up and move it to Ohio I would in a minute!!! My siblings worked here when it was a shack of a place in the early 80's and I always remember them bringing home the Italian Sub with this amazing home made cole slaw! 30+ years later I still crave that sub and order it every time I am in town. Known for its pizza, but i used to order their beer battered cod, very similar to Susie Q fish n chips, but alas, they changed vendors and have not gone back there since, tasted like Long John Silvers. Not cheap but I pay for premium and expect premium pizza. The last time I went, the crust for 2 to 2.5 inches around the edge of both pizzas was empty. No toppings, totally empty. I called over the fella who just gave me my pizzas and asked him what was up. "We do that because people like our crust". Really? Getting too confident, there. We have been coming here for many years and tonight had a horrible experience. Extremely bad service waited way too long for our server to show up. Then brought no butter for a baked potato that had been asked for when placing the order. Totally forgot the breadsticks that were suppose to be part of the dinner. Brought the check before we had even been close to finish our dinner. Never bothered to ask if we wanted dessert or needed anything else. Couple next to us had a drink that was made with flat tonic and was sent back. Just an awful time, if the server was new he obviously had not been trained correctly. Restaurant was not very busy, had about 25 cars in lot, saw about 15 tables filled. First, waited 5 minutes for host to seat us, waitress came right away to take the drink order, hadn't even opened the menus, but it took 10 minutes for 1 beer to show up. We had to ask for water, separately, and those took another 10 minutes. VERY slow service, 20 minutes from order to food at table. Food was overpriced for portion/quality. A "bowl" of soup was only 1/2 full. My burger came back rare, when ordered med well. (thus, had to send it back and wait again while the other person with me ate). French dip was all bun, not "stacked high" as the menu says. For what we received, I would have expected to pay $5-6 for each plate, whereas their price are $8-9, + $5 for a 1/2 full bowl of soup.
