Had a breakdown south of Rochester today. Called one local towing company near our breakdown spot, and was told it would be a 3 hour wait. Called another place nearby and was told it would be Monday. We called Ali's up in Rochester & Sammy said he would be there in less than 25 minutes. Sure enough, 22 minutes later Sammy shows up, loads the car up on the flatbed and drives the car up to Rochester to get repaired. Sammy was very friendly, very professional, and absolutely a nice guy to chat with as he loaded and unloaded the car. I had called a couple towing companies but they could not get to me for a couple hours. Then I called I called Alie's Towing. I explained I did not need a tow but someone to boost my batteriy because I had left the backup /emergency lights on all night and it was below freezing. The Ali's Towing showed up within 15 minutes. I saw that Ali's had AAA on his truck in big letters. I told him I forgot to sign up for this year when my membership ran out. He was very pleasant. This Man - Ali - Is one of the greatest men EVER!!! If you think customer service is dead (which in many cases it VERY MUCH IS!) just reach out to Ali, and he will change your mind in ALL the WAYS! In an emergency situation - he was to our rescue IMMEDIATELY! It was a tricky job... a 14 foot box truck with a jammed lift gate. Initially I had a difficult time finding a towing company that could flat bed my Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab. Then I called Ali's. I was told half an hour & within half an hour Alan, from Ali's was here to tow my truck. City driveways are 9 feet wide but that did not deter Alan one bit. He backed up his rig a good 70 feet to hook my truck. No problem. Alan was very knowledgeable and friendly all throughout the process, clearly an amazing employee during these difficult times. By far the best towing company I have ever used. Samie was so friendly, on time (fastest ever), and kept me updated the whole time. He went the extra mile and sent me a photo of my car when he dropped it off. AMAZING. The kindness he had was so genuine, he cares about the people he is working with. I even gave him a tip. I needed a classic car brought to my home because a shop I trusted didn't do the work they promised. I'm never comfortable when someone else has my antique car.
