I received a text confirming my parking payment of $11, showing that I paid to park at 331-333 Alexander St. I was told my car was towed for blocking the road, but I was parked inside the parking lot, not on the road. A friend drove me to TowBuster, where they gave me a ticket stating that I was parked at 325 Alexander St. I explained to the woman there that I was not aware of any issue, and she told me to call the manager the next day. When I called the manager the next day, he was extremely rude. He repeatedly claimed that I parked in an apartment complex and told me to contact the parking company there. When I asked for the parking company's contact information, he said he didn't know. I then asked how he could be sure I parked in an apartment complex if he didn't know who owned the parking lot. At that point, he hung up on me. I am very upset because I had to pay $157 to get my car back, even though I paid for parking and believed I parked legally.

We drove around the block and had to ask someone walking. Once there you have to wait at the gate and call their number. No one was actually at the building. A lady that lives near by and walks across the street not looking like an employee demands a credit card payment as your asking questions. Once payment is processed she lets you access your car. Absolutely terrible customer service. Others waiting to get the car had similar experiences. Lots of complaints.

I'm not sure if other towing companies use this, but I like the addition of the mini wheels they put on the back of your car so you're not adding miles during the tow.

There are 4 signs on St. Paul that warn drivers not to perform this maneuver, but the AAA truck driver thought it was acceptable and safe to do so. I have been a AAA member since I started driving over 20 years ago and I am very disappointed with the lack of safe driving exhibited by this person in one of their trucks. A private truck in front of me was screaming at the driver and had to slam on their brakes. I am reconsidering renewing my membership to AAA if this is the kind of people they hire to drive their trucks.

The technician secured the exhaust piping and stated he would take it to the garage I chose and he would fill out the paperwork for me and drop off the key at the garage. This happened on a Sunday. This saved me from getting a ride to the garage and completing the key drop off paperwork. The technician treated the vehicle with care and was very courteous. I would use them again and recommend them without hesitation based on this experience.

Gates Towing was incredibly accommodating. They worked with me to create a flexible plan: I picked up his keys during his break, left them in the car, and called them once everything was set. Driver Justin went above and beyond by calling and texting me when he picked up the car, and again when it was safely dropped off at our chosen location. One for a blown tire in the middle of the night and the second time to tow my car from home. They operators were professional and communicated well. They took their time loading my Porsche onto the flatbed. Hoping they do that with all cars, but Pedro the operator made me feel good about leaving the car in their hands. I wouldn't hesitate to use their towing services again, but hoping I won't have to again anytime soon (should have bought a Camry).
