Service was fast and you can taste that the food was made with love. They run a lot of specials and deals on Uber eats so if you are planning to grab something to go, it's always worth a look! I got the vodka sauce which was incredible. Just the right amount of spice. I love that you can also build your own pasta bowl with tons of different protein options. 10/10 will be back :)

The staff gave great recommendations, the food was fresh, and service was fast (even during the lunch rush!) I tried the new Ziti Alla Vodka, and I'll 100% be getting it again. The rich sauce has the perfect amount of spice, and your pasta comes with a slice of warm focaccia as well. My friend tried the Build-Your-Own Pasta Bowl and loved the meatballs with pink sauce. I'll have to try it next time! The restaurant has a great ambience, and both indoor and outdoor seating. I sat on the patio, which is beautiful on a sunny day! I do have to say it can get kind of loud because there's a car wash directly to the right of the restaurant, but it was still a very nice experience. I'll be going back again to get some Tiramisu!

"Has anybody seen my lady This livin' alone would drive me…read morecrazy Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in" (The Band- The Shape I'm In) I'm not sure how many pasta shapes exist on Planet Earth, but I do know this. The Pasta Shoppe sells over 250 shapes of pasta. No fooling! Fun shapes like basketballs and cat paws and Christmas trees. Got a kid in college? They sell a dizzying selection of collegiate logo shaped pasta too. So whether you're a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan State Spartans, or the Wisconsin Badgers, they have you covered. Throw in some specialty pasta lines (Petite Angel Hair Pasta Nests anyone?) plus sauces, healthy grains, and gift boxes, and you get the picture. Everything is sold mail-order via their website and through group sales endeavors, which is how I came across them. I picked up two packages of their chili and one of their mac and cheese. They cost $8 a piece. The chili package included a bag of their store-made pasta and a big packet of spices you can add depending on how much firepower you want. The basic recipe does call for you to add a lot - 3 cans of beans, a can of diced tomatoes, chopped onion and garlic and pepper, some ketchup, and ground meat. But once you're done with the chopping and browning of the meat, everything comes together pretty fast. And how was the Classic Chili (more like a chili mac)? Well, let me tell ya, buddy it was pretty darned great. The sauce came out perfectly, and I loved the flavor and zip level of the spice. I dumped in the whole package because I like spicy, but you can go with a lighter hand if that's what your taste buds tell you. It was a lot of fun putting this together, and as I said - it came out great.

We discovered this hidden gem by accident while looking for Italian around the Vanderbilt area…read more The reviews looked great and we were looking for pasta and other options. It's a cozy space, we were seated in the outdoor area which has been completely closed in with plastic for the winter. The heat was blasting and it was a perfect spot, very inviting, and had outdoor TVs. We had two servers, young and very polite that checked on us. The menu includes appetizers, pizzas, calzones, pastas, salad, etc. We ordered the garlic knots, small Cesar salad, 14" pizza, and chicken parmigiana. Food arrived extremely quickly, starting with the salad. It was perfect as an appetizer, the dressing was light - more like Italian and the lettuce was crisp. Next came the garlic knots, which were drenched in butter. The knots were crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. We would 100% recommend them, even though pasta are served with the knots (which we didn't know). The pizzas came in four sizes 12, 14, 16 and then one bigger. I thought the pan size looked small for the 12 so I ordered the 14" chicken BBQ pizza. It arrives next and was quite large! It was thin crust with a crunchy crust. It was delicious, perfect amount of toppings. Then the chicken parmigiana arrived, and it was heaping with freshly breaded and fried chicken with marinara pasta underneath. It was a big portion served in a bowl and my daughter loved it. We will be back to try more food, would highly recommend. Also, if you have a car, there was a lot of paid street parking available. Also, down the street from a nice park if you have kids!

The only downside that I see is that it's a takeout or outdoor dining only, but the food is really good and it was ready in about 10 minutes. You can take a box of their Bronze cut Pasta or a bottle of their Marinara home with you or order it online and have it delivered to you. I got A house favorite-- The Chicken Parmesan. It was a good portion size and I could tell it was freshly made. It was delicious. It has a Buttermilk fried Chicken breast atop their Spaghetti topped with house Marinara, Fresh Mozzarella and Fresh Basil. My wife got the Meatball sub with fresh handcut fries. The sandwich has hand rolled Beef Meatballs topped with house Marinara, Provolone, Mozzarella, Basil and Parmesan served in a fresh baked French Roll. This is a full size sub. It was about 8 or 10 inches. She gave it a 7 out of 10. She said she would get it again. It's worth stopping in and eating or getting some pasta and sauce to take home and make yourself.

We couldn't resist a good finish, so we split a Tiramisu - Mascarpone cream & Coffee lady finger cookies topped with cocoa powder. I had an espresso & my wife opted for a cappuccino (even though it was after 11am... shh, don't tell anyone). The server was attentive & helpful and we enjoyed the food. We were actually between the normal lunch & dinner shift, so the restaurant was not too busy. We opted to sit outside which was a little noisy from the road traffic at that hour, I did take a look inside and at the kitchen area. On our next trip here, we will be sitting inside and try some of their wine, and other offerings. Both the Gnocchi and the Pizza were very good, and we look forward to our next visit.

The staff here are super friendly, and gave us great recommendations once we were seated. The restaurant is semi-full service. You are sat at a table, but you have the menu online and can only order online. At that point I'd rather just take it to-go. My friend's phone was dead, so we also had to pass my phone back and forth to order. There are a couple of servers taking care of all of the tables once the orders are ready, so it feels like the restaurant is trying to get away with paying less people. I ordered the nonna paula, added pancetta to it, and made it spicy. The sauce was absolutely incredible. It was smooth, nutty, and creamy, and the house-made pasta was cooked perfectly. I wish their version of making it spicy didn't also make it more oily; it also didn't really add any kick to it. I'd definitely order to-go, but I'm not sure if I'd dine-in here again.

I love a perfectly executed bagel in the same way that Dale Cooper loves a damn fine cup of coffee. As such, I had kind of given up hope to find an actual bagel in town. Other spots came close, but I always just felt like I was settling. However, Mr. Aaron's Goods does it soooo right. We finally have a bagel in Nashville with the right crust and texture! Would love to see a vegan bagel sandwich on the menu in the future!

Bagels are my birthright…read more I am a New Jerseyan / New Yorker that left the godless north for Nashville 10+ years ago. I was so afraid I would never have another good bagel again that I literally took bagel-baking classes at the Culinary Institute of America. I was right to be scared. For years, Nashville bagels were just bread donuts. Soft circles of steamed sadness committing breakfast fraud. The kind of thing someone hands you and says, "It's basically the same," right before you question every decision that led you south. Then this place showed up. It started as a pop-up inside TKO, R.I.P., and now it has taken over the whole space. This place gets it right. The bagels are boiled, rolled, baked, chewy, crusty, and spiritually accurate. Not "good for Nashville." Not "pretty close." Just really freaking good bagels. No apologies needed. The place looks the way a bagel shop is supposed to look. Concrete floors. Friendly chaos. People working hard behind the counter. And the people? That's the real thing. Mr. Aaron, his wife, and the whole crew are amazing. They know your name. They bust your chops. You bust theirs. That is community. That is customer service with a pulse. They even have a Mets fan, which proves their commitment to authenticity and long-term emotional damage. It's the kind of place you want to go every day, if your wallet, doctor, and basic sense of shame weren't constantly trying to ruin your life. Nashville finally has a real bagel place. I do not say that lightly. I say that as a man who has opinions about crust, chew, schmear, water, and most things. But this place rules. Go. Eat. Complain about the Mets. Order another bagel. Repeat.
