I decided to see Jason because he was Korean and it would not cause a language barrier for my mom to understand everything. Also i paid out of pocket for an appointment which shows he probably thought i couldn't afford treatment. He comes in flashes a flashlight in my nose and says you probably have sleep apnea. He assigned me a sleep study and sent me off with a nose spray. When my mom would ask a question he would look annoyed and interrupt her mid sentence. After the sleep study i came to follow up with him and he said you have sleep apnea and there's nothing you can do besides buy a cpap machine. I said what about surgery, he said no it'll make it worse. I was so shocked how disengaged he was and how cold he sounded, like i was a fly pestering him. So i said okay and spent 1000 on a machine. After months of trying the cpap and failing, i couldn't do it anymore. I changed my insurance to PPO and found another ENT doctor. He FULLY examined everything from ears, mouth, and put a camera in my nose to give a thorough exam. The doctor concluded it was because of my tonsils that were overly large and was blocking my airways and that i needed a tonsillectomy. Which i did and my sleep apnea was gone like that. Thank you Jason for rejecting me because i was able to get fully healed besides believing that nothing else could be done for me. Don't ever doubt yourself and go get second opinions always.

I had to chase him out of the office just to ask something. I still don't understand why I need the surgery until i saw another ENT! Im still so mad and upset. It was a complete waste of my time.

Extreme allergies sensitivity I received treatment over a…read moretwo week period and found that when exposed to those allergies I was able to function without any irritation. My life become normal. When exposed to cold air and pollutants like smoke, chemical like paint I would fall into a mode of sneezing and heavy mucus production. I could not smell the grass been cut with the lawn mower, I would be sneezing nonstop. My life is now back to normal. For twelve years I had to stay away from eating cheese and milk. Now I have milk and cheese with any problems. My systems have certainly been reset.

I'm leaving this detailed and honest review because the packages NAET Clinic are far from cheap and…read moreI hope that this gives more insight into what is required from you and whether this treatment is for you. Background on me: I developed eczema when I was 18 years old and have been to a number of dermatologists that prescribed me steroid creams which gave me temporary relief, but the withdrawal effects made my condition 5x worse. I found a TCM practitioner pre-covid that got rid of my eczema for around 3 years. As my condition started to come back, I started another search for a TCM practitioner who could help me achieve similar results. NAET: When I found NAET I saw that majority of reviews were all 5 stars, so my confidence going into this practice was high. From my anecdotal experience, an allergen or variable that the body is sensitive to, is placed in the patient's hand; a vibrating device is then run down the patient's spine to fortify immunity to the object in the patient's hand. The allergen is then to be avoided for a full 24 hours after treament. There are over 12 allergens that the base full package treatment provides, ranging from Vitamin B, Vitamin C, metals, calcium mix, etc. The base full treatment package costs $1173 from what I was pitched As previously mentioned, the patient must avoid the allergen treated for 24 hours. I spent an entire month month running through all treatments, when I was told most patient's do maybe one or two treatments a week due to the intensity of avoiding allergens for an entire 24 hours (example: for the calcium allergen, all water besides distilled water must be avoided; no showers, brushing teeth, drinking water with normal mineral water; example 2: metal allergen, I had to wear gloves all day as most things contain metal - phone, door knobs, etc.). This was just the tip of the iceberg with things I had to avoid on a daily basis to see if the treatment would work or not. Conclusion: The practitioner-client relationship was phenomenal. The service and care given was exceptional. However, at the end of the day I did everything I was asked to do at 100% efficacy, completed the entire treatment, and gave my life to this for an entire 30 days to ensure results at the end. I've provided images before and after so you can see if I achieved the results that were forecasted to me, or not. If the pictures don't do it justice, my condition was the same after the NAET treatment. Only until I started seeing a different TCM practitioner, I started to see a slight decrease in redness from the eczema. Please be careful in whom you decide to spend your hard-earned money with! Don't fall for the exceptional service and kindness, really look into if they can get you RESULTS, because that is what you're paying for, not a friend or therapist. This was my personal experience that is as detailed and honest as it can be because most of the reviews are 5 stars, and there needs to be grey area from patients who don't receive what they expect.

An unfortunate trip to the ER left me searching for an allergist. I started my search with my…read moreinsurance company to see who had decent ratings. After that search, I then turned to Yelp (of course). After working with Dr. Gjesdal for about month, I have to say that I am more than pleased with the care he and his staff provided. I am so satisfied that I have verbally referred a few friends and family members to him for allergy assistance. Dr. Gjesdal has a gentle demeanor. He really took his time to meet with me and get a full medical history. He asked detailed questions about the incident that resulted in my trip to the ER. He discussed possible causes, noting significant events and information in my personal history. Dr. Gjesdal discussed my options for how to proceed, keeping in mind cost, possible discomfort and insurance co-payments. I made the decision to get a full battery of allergy tests: pollens, food and chemicals. Because I was given steroids for my initial severe allergic reaction in the ER, I had to wait a few weeks until that was out of my system prior to the full battery of tests. The pollen tests were pin pricks on my forearms with dabs of allergens. Generally after 20 minutes, the medical assistant reads the results. Of course B is an over achiever, and I had such a severe reaction to some of the test items that they had to come in and wipe off some of the allergens after 5 minutes. After the test was complete, not only did I need benedryl cream but they had to administer Epi directly to the site. With my auto-immune disorder, some of those became infected after a few days and now I have a few scars that will hopefully fade soon. Next was the scratch tests for food allergies on my back. Ouch!! I had to lay and wait 20 minutes before the tests could be read. Again, the medical assistant was helpful to treat the area before sending me home. A few weeks later I retuned for the chemical testing (T.R.U.E. test). I was instructed to bring in hair care products and soaps that I commonly use so they can add that to the testing. I had to wear the patched on my back for 48 hours then return to the office for the initial reading. This meant no showers (eww) for that period since I could not get that area wet. Thank goodness for baths! After the initial reading, you can shower and wash your hair. I had to return to the office 48 hour after the initial reading. At that time, Dr. Gjesdal went over all the results from the complete testing and discussed recommendations. I find it interesting that Dr. Gjesdal's ratings are either 5-star or 1-star. My experience was all positive, so I truly cannot relate to the low reviews. He has a high level of experience and expertise. It was obvious that he continues to research current information related to allergy research and treatment. He directed me to a website (goodrx.com) to find the lowest cost for my Epi-pens. That website led me to a pharmaceutical company link where I found a coupon and my Epi-pens were free. His office staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I had no problem scheduling appointments or getting information from them as needed. Even when I had to reschedule an appointment, they quickly identified me and were very helpful and understanding. I feel very confident that I found the best allergist and received the highest level of care.
