Quick, friendly & professional. Just moved and a neighbor recommended them. Same young man came both times.

Alford Safe and Lock hold they keys to my heart! Don't waste your time getting keys made at a big box store. Alfords is quick, affordable, and great service. Recently, we lost an old motorcycle key. The local Honda dealership told me it would cost $300+ and my soul to replace. It was causing such a headache to figure out! I brought the gas cap lock in to Alford Safe and Lock and walked out with two new keys within 15 minutes for a very affordable price. I'll be a customer for life. Also, they have the coolest old safes to check out while you're waiting. read more

Very professional with real people answering the phone and with prompt service. Specialist on staff.

The technician was professional and efficient in changing out our door knobs and deadbolts. He identified some problems with the keyless pad so we can get the right one so he can return to install. read more

I popped in one day to ask about locksmith services since I've never used one before. I needed deadbolts installed on two exterior shop doors and I needed a smart lock I already had installed on my homes back door. I was able to purchase the deadbolts there and since they were slow they had Justin come out within an hour of my visit. Justin was great. Knowledgeable and efficient. He took his time and made sure everything was perfect before he left. I'll definitely use them again next time I need a locksmith. read more

Alford Safe and Lock has been taking care of my lock and lock-related needs for over 40 years. (I still remember their cat!) I recommend this company highly. They are efficient, helpful, and reasonably priced. read more

I've been doing business with Alford Safe and Lock since the early 1990's, and I've always been impressed by their service. They have actual locksmiths who can resolve all your lock issues. I've had them come to my house on several occasions to repair, rekey, or replace locks, and they are always responsive and courteous. They also sell and install high quality locks and security accessories. In addition, they also make keys that work the first time. They have a great store and showroom on Government Street where you can go to get keys made or buy other products. They also sell safes of many sizes and types, and these are on display in their showroom. Rather than try to buy discount security hardware at a big-box store, you might want to talk to some actual experts who can make sure you and your belongings are protected. Alford is the place I would absolutely recommend you check with for all your lock needs! read more

Love them! Keys made right, friendly service, clean and organized, local. Nothing worse than getting to your Maw maw's locked door with a key that doesn't work! I can always count on their craftsmanship. Five stars. read more

I dropped into have keys made and these folks are so nice. Polite, friendly and helpful. I am a firm believer in having keys made by an expert. Have you ever purchased a key at a big box store and had it not work? Well, that rarely happens at a locksmith and DID NOT HAPPEN HERE (and locksmith's stand by their keys). And they have cool keys too! One of the workers at the shipping center told me a story of his dad bought a gun safe from Alford Safe and Lock 35+ years ago. Last year it got messed up and Alford's drive an hour to fix it because it was still under warranty. Wow! read more

Alford Safe & Lock - Even the bear is masked for COVID ! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Great service. Was able to do some last minute stuff quickly without complaining. Very competent and caring. It's nice to have a local company that actually cares about people in these times. I had a complicated lock they were able to fix, and they didn't charge an arm an a leg like some other companies in the area. I recommend this company to anyone trying to spend their money locally. read more

I got the rudest treatment ever. As soon as I walked in, you could have heard a pin drop. They acted very hesitant as if they really didn't want to help me. I hate to pull the race card, but it seemed to be because I'm black. I talked to a friend after leaving the place and he said that he received the same treatment when he went there for something. The older woman who rang me up was SO sweet though. I wish everyone in there would have acted like her. How about treating everyone like humans. If you don't want to help other races, you might want to go to another area. read more

Went there to get a key cut and programmed for my 2008 Lincoln Navigator and experienced great service. Was in and out in 15 min. Great customer service and they support the military! Would go back again! read more

I went in to get a new key and remote. They had some problems which was fine and the technician had me go to the car with me to get the car manual and I went back inside. I asked a few questions and a woman interrupted each time I questioned her as to why she kept interrupting and she then said she was the owner. I asked if I needed to get with her. At some point she told me "everyone loved her" told her i would leave her a negative review and she said she'd dispute it. She didn't seem to care that I am not going to return read more

The shell of my car key broke and they were able to replace it since the inside of the key worked just fine ! Highly recommend, very helpful, and definitely know what they're doing. I will go back for any of my key needs read more

Justin was great! On time and very quick to diagnose and solve our issue. Highly recommend Alford Safe and Lock.

These guys are conscientious and knowledgeable about what they are doing. They are one of the few places that DO NOT make copies of keys that say "do not replicate." Unless you can prove you are the owner. Thanks for doing consistent work! read more

This is an old line lock and safe company. It's been in business forever. They also make excellent key copies.

As of business owner of 4 salons in Baton Rouge, I went in to get copies of a key made. The staff would not allow me, the owner to get copies of a key. I appreciate them into pushing me to find a new lock smith that rekeyed and gave me several copies of keys to my salon. read more
