Honestly y'all, I called every automotive locksmith that services Livingston Parish and was at a stand-still due to the financial burden of losing my key fob. Case scenario: I set my only car key (on a bright orange lanyard) on the back of a pick-up truck and drove off unknowingly. So we can safely consider the thing LOST without hope for return because BELIEVE ME, I patiently prayed that it could be found somehow which was why I walked for miles up and down along Joe May Road, trying to catch a glimpse of the orange lanyard. Unfortunately, this situation was futile and I was unable to afford the most immediate options. I find it to be perplexing and upsetting that every independent locksmith is in a very similar price range as the actual Toyota dealership, an inevitable brick wall with only so much money to dedicate to my negligence. I spoke with Rod the day I called around and he informed me that if I obtained a new key fob of that particular kind over the internet, then he could do the service for almost half price of what all others were trying to charge me. My uncle and I were seeking a copy of a desk key and at first she discovered that she had no blanks. She mentioned that another company may have it, but I stated to her that we were referred to Rolland. She took the extraordinary step and called the manufacturer of the key. She then was able to arrange it where the manufacturer would send my uncle two (2) copies of his desk key to his home for absolutely FREE. It doesn't get any better than that.

The next day I took the rim with the boot still attached to Rolland Safe. My family has been using Rolland Safe to service our safes for many years and they have always done a tremendous job. If you need to purchase a safe or have a safe serviced in the New Orleans area, this is your first stop. However, I digress. I took my rim with the boot from the Premium Parking lot to Rolland. They removed that boot from my rim in under three minutes and only charged me $6. *Note to EVERYONE. A private lot immobilizing (booting) your private property is illegal. Yes, they can have your car towed off of their property if you are parked illegally or have not paid for parking but they CANNOT immobilize your vehicle. Simply remove the wheel and put it in your trunk, replace with your spare and bring the wheel to Rolland Safe to be removed for $6. If you have a drill you can remove it yourself for free however I like supporting the local economy.

Danny managed to replace battery and reprogrammed the remote so I was able to use it and for a reasonable price. This is the second time I have used them and both times have been pleased with the results. I recommend them when anyone has a problem with keys or locks.
