The price was reasonable and best of all, my lock works. Thank you Royal!!!

I called them around noon on Feb 5, 2026. He responded and stated he could do the job for $225.00 and would arrive in 20 mins. One hour later, I sent a text to make sure he received my previous text. He confirmed and again, said I will arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived at 2:07 pm. I showed him the two doors with the locks and went about my daily activities. About 30 minutes into his visit, I hear drilling on my front door. When I went to see what he was doing, he had REMOVED both the deadbolt and the doorknob and was DRILLING into my door. At that point, he had drilled a larger hole in my front door and stated that his "foot slipped" in the sawdust and his drill bit dropped carving a significant gap that he said he could cover with a digital locking mechanism. . . At this point, he called someone to come help him with this disaster of a mistake to my front door. This man assisted him with installing a digital lock that was SUPPOSED TO BE BLUETOOTH but was not. He told me that since the major gash in my door was his mistake that he would not charge me for the digital lock since it will cover the gash made in the door. So now I have a much larger button code door lock (see pictures) that still did not cover the mistake in the door. THEN he charges me $280.00 instead of the $225 he initially quoted. The new lock requires batteries - which he did not have, so I had to make a trip to Lowe's for that... just a major cluster. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Keep in mind, all I wanted was the current door locks re-keyed... now I have to buy new double doors from my front entry.

He started drilling out the whole and made it too big. He tried to put his new locket in and it didn't fit (it wasn't even the right kind of lockset - he after the fact told us that he didn't have the correct one). He then sloppily put together the old lock and said that was all he could do and charged us $110. Left us totally hanging and now won't answer or return calls. Had to pay a "real" locksmith $150 to fix the problems this guy created. Run away from this service. Horrible experience.

We had been to several other places trying to get a copy made of our shed key, but no one was able to help us. Ms. Angie went above and beyond to find a solution. She took the time to search for matching key blanks and patiently tried several options until she finally found one that worked perfectly. Her determination, knowledge, and willingness to help made all the difference. In addition, Access Lock and Security also made copies of our car keys quickly and professionally. From start to finish, the service we received was friendly, efficient, and exceptional. It's rare to find someone who is so dedicated to helping customers. Ms. Angie's commitment to finding a solution rather than simply saying it couldn't be done truly stood out. I highly recommend Access Lock and Security to anyone needing locksmith services. These guys came out to my business June of 2025 to replace a broken spring on our bay door. The…read moredoor worked fine after they left and did so for EXACTLY one year. Fast-forward to July (9th to be specific) of 2026 and the bar for the spring has now snapped in half. I called ACE to see if it was still under warranty and not only did they tell me "no", they said that there would be a $400 charge for them to come out and look at it PLUS an additional $200/hr labor PLUS parts. Keep in mind, they just removed this bar just over 52 weeks ago. Their guy was the last one to have his hands on it. My building is less than 1/4 mile away from them and they just worked on this 55 weeks ago and they won't even come out to see if their guy did something wrong with the installation or if he missed other parts that should have been changed originally. These bars don't just snap for no reason and I suspect their guy didn't change the bearings when he had the bar off for the spring change last year. Regardless, this is a company that is either so desparate for money that they can't do jobs right to begin with or they're so desparate for money that they have to get pedantic over warranty windows and rake people over the coals just to get their service fee. Either way, NOT a good look for anyone looking to keep commercial business. I can not and will not ever recommend anyone call ACE for service. There are lots of other mom and pop companies out there that will make sure the job is done correctly to begin with or they'll recognize that warranty windows are not something they should take hard stances on and be willing to accept that their work should last YEARS longer than the warranty states. Let's face it... NO ONE would put up with a vehicle that falls apart and stops working the moment the warranty expires. Why should we accept this level of service from garage door companies??? ACE... If you're reading this, understand that this is REALLY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE and it's a really bad look. You should do MUCH better by your customers.
