Acme lock came out to our house to fix a lock in the bottom of our door on June 3. They needed to order a special part so the service representative said he would order it and come back to fix it. I called them probably over 10 times and first said the person that ordered the part was out of the office, then they said the order was delayed, then they said the tornado delayed the order, and on and on. I called everyday for a week. Now it is July and I have not heard anything. Finally I gave up with this company. read more

Acme is my go to for all kinds of locksmith services. Aside from regular key services and lock changes etc they provided two real deal saves for me. The first was when the mechanism inside of my odd sized french doors failed and the door company no longer provided service or parts. Nina helped me track down a replacement part had it installed. What a relief I was thinking I was going to have reframe and replace the doors. Recently I needed a key made to be able to drop and raise the spare tire on my truck. The installer was supposed to come check what smart lock would suite the property best. The installer didn't show up. I called the office back. The knob and lock on a entry door broke off just before the close of business yesterday. I called Acme Lock and they promised to send a locksmith at the beginning of the next business day. Courtney called as promised and came directly to our house. She was quick, efficient, replaced the lock as well as minor work on another lock. Both locks work better than they ever have. The price for labor was better than fair and the charge for the new lock was actually a bit cheaper than the prices I found online at my local home center plus they were keyed to work with our existing keys. I used Acme today to resolve an auto key issue. I had purchased a plastic flip key shell from online to repair a broken part. I was unable to make my repair work. My botched attempt at flip key repair for a Mazda was taken on by Brandyn and repaired keeping my costs reasonable compared to dealership support for a key and programming.
