Extremely friendly and helpful staff--I tried rekeying a Schlage lock and mangled one of the springs in the process (and also shot a pin across the room). The friendly folks at American Key and Lock helped me get replacement parts and were generous enough to let them go without charge. You can't put a price tag on that kind of service. read more

Great customer service. Very quick. Knowledgeable. Highly recommend them. Decoded a key. Figured out the pin settings. And took care of it all right on the spot for a Ford truck. read more

It's really sad when you literally live 3 miles away so they didn't have to drive for they only picked one lock took him less than 2 minutes and charged me a $115 talk about a rip off. Do they even care you would think they would do a Rate based on how far away the person is and I was literally 3 miles away. And how long the job takes ? Greedy Talk about taking advantage when someone makes a mistake it's disgusting read more

Excellent service, knowledge, and price. Saved me more than $150 off the dealer price for my security key, and got it done in 10 minutes. The pros at American just asked me what kind of car I had, I handed him my key, and he made a duplicate security key for me in ten minutes. I could not be happier except I feel like I stole something... read more

Professional, fast, and affordable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The gentleman working made a key for my lockable bed cover by hand. I was extremely impressed by his skill and ability. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I broke my only key off in my door and was able to remove the other half of my key. Brought it to American they were able to recut a key from the 2 broken halves. I was in and out. It took about a total of 3 min And it worked perfectly. They've earned my confidence any lock problems I have in the future I'll bring to them first. Btw they sell candles too. Haha it was weird but whatever I had a laugh. At least it smelled good. This old school locksmith I'd recommend any day. read more
