This is our third experience with Alfa Collision Center. I worked with Louis, who was truly amazing! Since the accident was not my fault, they had to work with Progressive Insurance. It took a while for the insurance company to get the estimate, but once that was done, Louis really took care of me even fixing a few extra things that I know cost extra money. This is an amazing body shop. It costs much less than Nalley, Collision Center and Precision collision centers, where I also checked prices. I walked away with a firm quote and understanding of the work needed to be done. Not so with the other vendor. The work was done on a timely fashion as agreed and they kept to the price quoted. I cannot speak to their auto body work, because their estimate was too high and our car was simply too old. What I can speak to is their customer service, follow through and generosity. I initially called and spoke to David the first time and Danny the second time. After my car was dropped off, they told me that they would call me back with an estimate. Nobody ever called me. I had to call them and follow up. Based upon the high price of the estimate, we decided to sell our car for parts. I asked Danny if he could recommend a company that would pick up and purchase our vehicle. He told me that he would look into it and call me back the next day. He never called me back. The reason I am giving them a 4 star review instead of a 2 star review based upon their communication and follow through is for their generosity. They let me keep my car on their property until I finally found a company that would pick up and purchase the car. They did not try to charge me extra money for keeping our car on their property. I had a fender bender on my beautiful red Lexus ES-350. Lexus wanted $2,600.00 to replace and paint the rear bumper and they wanted me to leave my car for up to two weeks. Someone referred me to Alfa Collision instead. Alfa instantly gave me a price of $1,700.00 for the job and promised me my car back in 24 hours! My car was ready early next day, and it looked like a new car - very professional job and they buffed and polished the whole car! Another time, I needed repairs to the BMS (blind spot monitoring system). Lexus wanted almost $2,000.00 and Alfa got the job done in 24 hours for $475.00. I can't say enough about this company. The owner, David, and his manager, Louis are first class. Honest, competent, friendly. They are the real deal. Quality work, great prices, eager to please. I would have given them 10 stars if I could! As far as I am concerned, David and his amazing team are magicians. I traveled on my Honda Odyssey from Illinois to Georgia in the June-July timeframe last year (2022) to meet with friends. I was the victim of a hit and run accident that put a bad dent in my lift gate (near where you unlock the trunk). My wife was also involved in a fender bender, mostly as a result of the other driver's fault. Despite my claims being approved by my insurance company, I could not find a single shop in my area in IL who could repair the damage, citing parts shortage due to the post-COVID situation. I was told by repairers that particularly Hondas were the hardest hit with vehicles lying in their garage in excess of 8 months! When I brought my car around to show to David at Alfa, he told me he would have no problems repairing it and worked with my insurance company to deliver my vehicle in under ten days, just in time for my trip back home that I had absolutely no option of extending. Amazing and awesome service and finishing results! Got involved in a car accident with my BMW M4 that resulted in considerable damage to the body and overall appearance of the vehicle. There were nasty scratches, dents, and marks on large portions of the side. Decided to try out Alfa Collision center for repairs with high expectations that comes with having high-performance cars. Service was professional, efficient, and attentive to my concerns. The owner and staff was welcoming and assisted me in getting repairs started. They were able to work with my insurance company so that they would approve of the estimate and proceed with repairs without hassle. They used OEM parts and paint finish for my car which was a definite must. I got my car back in amazing and pristine condition so much so that it looked as good as the first year I got the car! The owner of the shop was friendly enough to give a courtesy polish touch up and wash at the time of pickup which was up to me if I wanted. He also made sure to fix up some old dents that were there previously before the accident that are unrelated just for the sake of service which he covered on himself! I got my car back looking car show ready and sleek under the sunlight. Looks almost perfect like new. The process to pickup also went smoothly and professional. Quick phone call notice, and that's basically it. No confusion and no hassle. I just go to the shop to pick up, and pay out of pocket costs that was left behind after insurance, which wasn't that bad at all if we are speaking of a car that has supercar-like performance. With that being said, they make their prices seem very fair for the out of pocket expense and they apparently had no issue getting insurance to give the green light at the end of the day. They list all the repairs done and parts used in the invoice. Basically everything was made sure to be kept OEM. Just one bearing part is non-OEM or aftermarket which doesn't seem like a big deal. The paint is exact match as the original BMW Yas Marina Blue, at least to the naked eye as hard as you can look. Great and fair pricing, AMAZINGLY friendly and courteous service plus especially with the grace for the stray damage that was he took care of on himself as complimentary work, and professional and impressive finish of a job that put a big smile on my face when I first saw my car during pickup. I got my car back looking almost new and shining so beautifully under lighting, and the eyesore and headache of the primary major damage from the recent accident and of the old minor damage on the opposite side of the vehicle which was there for years being dealt with and put behind me, I finally am enjoying my M4's appearance like I did when I got it actually new years ago. read more

Took my SUV here for some repairs covered by another party's insurance after they backed into my parked vehicle. The whole process went so smooth - great customer service, efficient communication along the way, the repairs look great and were completed quicker than expected. I was so impressed and ready to leave a 5 Star review. Then a week after I picked up car up I needed gas and unscrewed my gas cap and dropped it like always but this time it hit the ground. The tether was missing. I took my car back to them to discuss and a man (whom I assume is the manager or owner) walked me out to look at it. Instead of acknowledging they broke it and should have replaced it earlier; apologizing and offering to order a replacement... he made excuse after excuse, tried to gaslight me, and was quite rude. He did offer to order a replacement as one was not on hand, but when I expressed my frustration that I now had to bring my car back 2x when this should have already been fixed he first tried to tell me that most people just place the cap in the cap holder on the inside of the gas door. I get that is an option, but I do not want to have to do that when the tether worked perfectly and suited my needs and it is now missing thanks to them. I asked what happened and he explained that they had to remove the gas cap to paint and that it probably broke. "These things break when they are old." I asked why they didn't replace it then or at least let me know and he told me "we cannot make everyone happy". I explained that until that moment I was quite happy with them, but that interaction was not pleasant. He then retorted telling me that he had had a bad day. Then mentioned that I had used a different collision shop I used a few years prior - not sure the purpose there; was he trying to blame the newly missing tether on their work?! I realize the cap tether is rather trivial but if they broke it, they should have replaced it or at minimum made me aware. They were paid over $7k for repairs to my vehicle and cannot take care of that $25-40 part that supposedly broke when they had to remove the gas cap? They actually had my car for a few days after it was finished thanks to a bought of COVID that ran through my house - so they had extra time even to replace it. It is obvious that it wasn't a concern to them. In the end the work seems to be well done - but the experience with the manager/owner left me very disappointed. It is like once they had the $$ they didn't care about customer service anymore. read more

I have a 20 year old Porsche Boxster that isn't worth a lot of money, but my teenage son and I have put a lot of work into restoring it and making it something special. Outstanding! I had read the positive reviews and stopped by without an appointment. The owner David introduced himself and I showed him my door handle which had been hit and was fully inoperable. I was skeptical it would be a big enough job for Alfa Collison to want to take on. David immediately provided a very reasonable estimate. I was ecstatic to have found a place that would do the work - especially at a reasonable price. But wait, it gets better. I expected I would have to schedule a time to come back. But David said he could have it done by end of day. What? Excellent. So as I was about to order an Uber ride home vs having to wait a few hours, David asked where I lived. It was on the way of where he was going, and he offered me a ride. Now thats service! When I picked the car up that evening it was perfectly repaired! 'm glad I found this shop as I was looking online for an auto body shop for my daughter's Ford Escape. Her rear passenger side tire delaminated while driving on a highway and damaged her quarter panel and part of the bumper. We went in on a Saturday and they provided an estimate that was fair. David's staff was friendly and professional, as was he. Other than the fact that they needed an extra day due to the need to get the tire rim replaced additionally, which they were not aware of originally, they were on point with their time frame for the repair. I can't say enough good things about this place. The back panel on my Lexus had popped out of place. I came by to get a quote on it, and the owner walked out with me. He immediately went and got a screwdriver and fixed it for me on the spot. He didn't charge me anything. I actually offered to pay, and he wouldn't accept it. I also had a paint spot on the side and he offered to have his detail guy buff it out for me for free. It is increasingly rare to see an honest, generous business these days, especially in the body shop business, so this is a true gem. I was so impressed that he just fixed it for me and sent me on my way. He's earned me as a customer for life. I was in and out of there in about 5 minutes flat, so I didn't use it, but the waiting room inside looked very nice and had comfortable looking, clean seating.
