I got an everything bagel with almond spread that stuck to my mouth, not the bagel. Asked for not toasted and got it with a hint of warmth but no crunch. Avocado toast was sparse. We were greeted and pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the wide selection of options. This is a smoothie place BUT also so much more than that! They offer things like fresh smoothies, fresh lemonades in a bunch of awesome flavors, smoothie bowls, and even crepes. The place itself is really nice and positive inside. They have positivity in everything from the colors they use in their decor and even their counter has saying posted to brighten your day all over it. I was curious about this so we asked more about this place and were both surprised and delighted by the answers we got from staff. This place started as a food truck five years ago that turned into a physical location about three years ago that is one of one. What makes it such a wonderful place is they work with special needs individuals and they also have them intern at this place. That's such a wonderful thing as someone who mentors someone with special needs and has a wife that works with individuals with autism that means a lot to us. My wife is pregnant with our son and we can't wait to bring him here :) we also can't wait to return to try other options. We even thought about the having the person I mentor intern here for some life experience/fun environments. They have 9 different dirty sodas and they come in 24oz (we'd love smaller size options and flights options if possible! We wanted to try all the flavors) They also have games for you to play while they make your items. I love that they asked for and value feedback and are stoaked with giving recommendations which I asked for and genuinely care about what you think and wanted to make sure you are happy with your items. This was a 10 outta 10 experience for us. Well done guys! - SupaFlyITGuy approved! We loved our choices of purple haze and Dr. Mash and my Joplin smoothie

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

That is love," Diana realizes, even as she contemplates that, soon, the misty cave floor under her feet will be beset with violence, meted out by Medusa's sisters, before Diana even gets a chance to explain that she is trespassing in the hopes of obtaining for Medusa the ultimate form of social justice: permanent chances for her to "look other soul[s] in the eyes...and be seen." The Black female ownership, the management, and the staff at Love Life Cafe, a snug coffee house nestled at 929 Washington Blvd in Laurel, Maryland, are fully aware how being seen is intertwined with social justice, kindness, and customer service. Black artists' drawings and paintings, some of which are for sale, adorn the walls, including "Wakanda Forever," featuring Chadwick Boseman, whom the world heartbreakingly lost too soon to cancer; "Say Their Names: Black Lives Matter," featuring Sandra Bland; whom her communities bitterly lost to police brutality; and, in a hope-filled change of pace, "Looking Up at Greatness," depicting two-year-old Parker Curry's recognition and wonder at seeing Amy Sherald's portrait of Michelle Obama at the National Portrait Gallery in March of 2018. So far, my wife has enjoyed a life-sized latte with extra hot cardamom oat milk; a life-sized cafe au Lait with the same; an açaí bowl, minus the honey and adding kiwi, pineapple, and mango; and a life-sized Hollaback Girl latte. Meanwhile, I was thrilled to devour a banana, cinnamon, and vanilla frappe appropriately dubbed "Monkey Business."

But I finally made it once I saw this location was opening up. It's very close to my parents, so they also asked me to grab something when I went. When I showed up it looked fresh and clean, and the smell of fresh fruit was in the air. The smoothies have cool names and come in different sizes. I got medium ones for my parents and I, and they were so delightfully colorful. We had the Nipsey Blue, Chill Pill, and Pitaya (I really should've taken pictures). I couldn't help but notice jackfruit patties too, and got two of those. Once I got to my parents' to drop everything off, we were all so pleased upon our first sips. And those patties blew me away. I've had my share of vegan patties, ranging from ackee to vegan fish to jerk plantain... but jackfruit was something else. I cannot wait to return and get more. It's a welcome addition to Woodmore Town Centre. Oh... they had these mini vegan bundt cakes on display, and every single one was different. I am definitely going to have one of those when I return.

Many business owners think about their products and services from the perspective of a provider or…read morevendor. Not the customer. Here's some advice: Walk through your business the way a customer would. How do they enter your space or navigate your website? How easily can they identify what they need? How smoothly is their order fulfilled? Where are the natural opportunities to upsell or add value? What does the payment experience feel like? Every step shapes their perception of your brand. If customers sense high effort, confusion, or indifference from staff, they will look elsewhere. Of the four customers I saw during the visit to your location: 1) the first one was frustrated because the ingredients advertised weren't available, so instead of being guided to an alternative she had to make that choice, 2) The second customer was frustrated because there was only one person working, and while this individual was making his order, the soul worker did not acknowledge any of the other customers, so he was frustrated when the customers pulled his attention away from crafting his order, leaving him with a negative experience, 3) the third. Customer was clearly frustrated because she was purchasing premade juices, but still had to wait an under amount of time before even being acknowledged by staff, 4) the fourth customer (myself) after waiting in line and have to ask a new employee who just came on shift if I could be helped was immediately informed by the staff regarding what they were out of and what they didn't have. Here's a tip: Instead of delivering a flat "we're out," train your team to offer alternatives that keep the experience positive. If you're out of vanilla on a hot day, guide the customer toward other refreshing options. They came to you to solve a problem--thirst, hunger, comfort--and your job is to preserve that momentum. When your marketing has already done the work of getting someone to your door or onto your site, honor that investment. Even if you can't provide the exact product they wanted, create a smooth transition so you don't lose the sale, the relationship, or the goodwill. Your brand, values, and reputation are being formed in real time. Inconsistency, poor service, indifference, or discourtesy can undermine your business before it gains traction. A customer‑centered process is your competitive advantage. For customers who are trying to support your business, especially as a black owned business, you are making it hard for customers to give you their money. Please fix this.
