We had two VERY tall palm trees in our backyard, that had to be removed. We contacted Alex (after scanning the internet), and he had us text him photos of the trees. We received a quote the next day, and we scheduled the work for a few days later. He showed up at 7:30am, and didn't leave our house until almost 6pm. Not only did he remove the trees (including the stumps), but he cleaned our pool from the little debris that fell in (which we told him he didn't have to do). He is extremely professional, organized and considerate. We highly recommend this company, and will be using their services again. Thank you, Alex, for a job well done!!!!! read more

Hired Alex to remove a 50 ft palm tree. He was quick to respond to my call and gave me an estimate the following day. We agreed to the job and he completely removed the palm and the root two days later. He and his crew got it all done it less than 4 hrs, had great equipment to handle the heavy work and left the place cleaner than when he started. Fantastic job- highly recommended read more

Had a good experience with these guys. They were quick on their responses and came out quickly to get the job done. They do get busy so have some patience. Communication is key to have a good experience. read more

Alex responded to my yelp questions quickly and gave me the most reasonable price . His reviews speak for them selves. He came by the next day and took care of business. My tree needed trimming to prevent more broken branches from the wind . Thanks again ! read more

Alex did a great job trimming our olive and jacaranda trees. I recommend his services

Here in the Coachella Valley we see butchered palms every day, we see incompetent gardeners, poor quality service. You can't possibly believe how Alex was able to fix years of neglect and poor maintenance of my palms and pepper trees! A true professional he was quick, thorough and efficient--despite a perfectly reasonable price! If I could I'd invite anyone to come see the finished product!!! read more

We had a tree fall on our property and needed it to be removed quickly. An adjacent tree also needed to be inspected and possibly removed. One problem was that we no longer live in Thermal: Alex quickly came out and assessed the damage and recommended whether to either trim or remove existing trees on our property. I was very impressed with his work and care. He sent videos and photos so I knew exactly what his plan was. I highly recommend! read more

This review is only for pre-contract responsiveness. I called Alex late in the afternoon, he was at my house to provide an estimate first thing the next morning. Alex warned me that he was more expensive than others, and he is, which is why we did not hire him. However, he was very courteous, responsive and professional. He also has a lot of equipment and appears to be very good at his job. If you have a bigger budget or more challenging landscaping issues, you should contact Alex for an estimate. read more

Alex responded quickly to my inquiry, booked him and he came the next morning and completed the project quickly and safely! Satisfied customer! read more

I needed three palm trees and a overgrown tree in my backyard trimmed badly, so I got on Yelp and found Alex Tree Care. I requested quote, and within two minutes he got back to me and was at my house within an hour. He looked over my requested service and gave me a great deal. He came out the next day and was able to complete the task and everything came out looking amazing. Will definitely be calling/recommending him in the future. read more

Very disappointing. They did show up on time but lied that my Washingtonian Fan Palms were "hybrid" and raised the price to $50/tree. I've been getting my STANDARD fan palms done for $45 for 11 years. Hybrids have orange thorns. Mine have the standard green thorns. I reluctantly agreed, just to get it done. An hour later I went to check and they were gone with nothing done. I called their office to cancel in case they were to come back. read more

Alex did a great job pruning our ficus hedge as well as the calliandra vine. He was prompt at both his appointments for the estimate and for the day of pruning. He cleaned the area up well as well as going over to the neighbors where trimmings may have fallen. I was impressed with Alex and his work especially since he is having trouble to obtain reliable staff to assist him. One can only do so much work in a day when you have staff that don't show up for work. I would highly recommend Alex for work in the future. read more

I can't evaluate the service. I used the request a quote feature in Yelp but never heard from them.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Alex and his whole team. We had extensive work done on our property. Several large palms, trees and overgrown bushes removed. He and his team also expertly pruned all of our fruit trees and remaining palms. Our property looked pristine when they left, they removed every branch they trimmed away. Their efficiency was unmatched, all of the work was done in one day. Alex was wonderful to work with, he responded incredibly quickly and scheduled the work on a day that worked for us. His prices were very fair, and his estimate was realistic. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!!!! read more

I texted Alex to trim the tall palm tree in my backyard over my pool and 2 date palms in my front yard. I was so impressed when he texted me back within 20 minutes and we setup a day for him and his team member to come out to do the job. They showed up on time and even texted me when they were 30 minutes away. Alex did an amazing job trimming the trees and cleaned up completely after. I would highly recommend Alex Tree Care and I will be using him from now. He is kind, ethical, and does great work. Thank you again Alex! read more

I hit up 3 different vendors for quotes to remove 2 trees. Alex's quote tied for the lowest, his availability was better (same day), so we hired him for the job. He and his team were friendly, professional and competent. They did a great job. Their work exceeded our expectations. Our project was done literally only hours after we decided to simply research costs. Great work!!! I highly recommend Alex Tree Care. read more

They just completed pruning 18 Cypress Trees before reseeding. Alex came a couple of days after I called. His price was reasonable and they are worth every penny I paid them. They cleaned up well. Alex's dad, Nelson, does the actual pruning. He is a perfectionist and proud of his work - a diminishing quality. He worked almost 9 hours straight in the early October heat wave. They pruned these Cypress trees and many Pittosporum bushes earlier this year. I wrote a Yelp review but under Alex Tree Service - the same as Alex Tree Care. Here is that review. April 2020 Yelp review: "Alex and his Dad do beautiful work. A few months ago, they trimmed 18 Cypress trees in our yard - they are perfectionists - the trees were at different heights and widths, many had branches sticking out from winds, and some needed to be wired. Today they just finished trimming about 40-50 yards of Pittosporum - flat and level on top and straight vertically on the sides. They are exceptional!" read more

Alex and crew were first to respond with a tree emergency, in and out quick, fair pricing, cleaned up great. Would recommend them!

Best tree trimmer in Coachella Valley. Very professional to deal with, the knowledgeable owner Alex came out immediately to assess our trees, including removal and trimming.. Gave the best estimate rates. Immediately set up an appointment and came out with his team to do the job quickly. Excellent workmanship. Highly recommend Alex Tree Care! read more

Alex showed up on time wearing a mask and was very professional. He groomed our 8 palm trees. He was very reasonable and we will definitely use him again. We highly recommend him. read more

They worked hard. Unfortunately, communication with the client needs a lot of work. Seemed more interested in moving on to the next job than finishing up the one they were on. Clean-up was spotty having to finish picking up myself. I found the interaction with the customer a little cocky. Probably no-repeat jobs will be forthcoming. read more

Alex Tree Care did a great job trimming our front lawn tree. Highly recommended!

Alex and his crew came out this morning. We had a very, very tall palm tree which hadn't been trimmed in 30 years and we wanted it removed. First, I have to say they were very punctual. The appointment was for 7:00 and that is when they arrived. They got immediately to work, and all of the crew were busy all the time. They completed the job in under 2 hours, including clean up. Their clean up was immaculate. I highly recommend Alex Tree Care to anyone. The prices are comparable to others, however, the service is outstanding. read more
