Alex and his co-worker were amazing. Punctual, had all the right equipment (including safety garb), and were very thorough with clean up after removing our 2 trees. You spend a bit more than having your gardener do the job but these guys are licensed and insured. Super professional. I will recommend to everyone. read more

Alex and his assistant came initially to see what we wanted and he gave us a very good price compared to other quotes. He returned to take our tree down in our front yard and man did do they an excellent job. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Alex. Thanks guys for a job well done. read more

I had 2 trees to be removed from my atrium. Alexis came with another team member for an inspection and price estimate. They were available the same day, so they got right to work. They were professional and quick in their work. After they removed the trees, they cleaned up and hauled away the materials. Great work! Definitely recommend. read more

My trees had not been cut in over 12 years, I got many quotes for tree trimming and removal and the one that stood out was Alex. His confidence and professionalism really attracted me to hire him, and I am so glad I did! He removed 3 problem trees and cleaned the tree in the front! His method is amazing and what appeared to me to be the safest method of tree care! He uses climbers rope and safety harnesses versus the multi ladder method that has scared me before! I would have no problem recommending him for your tree care needs and would definitely hire him next year when my tree needs some care. Thanks again Alex! read more

Alex is so patient! I'm so grateful for Alex and his patience in working with my tree problem: I have a neighbor who had large trees that blocked my view. She agreed to let me have them professionally trimmed. However, when Alex showed up on trimming day, she was very wishy-washy on what she would let Alex cut and tried to micromanage each branch he cut. He's a true artisan when it comes to tree-trimming and doesn't need to be told what to do. However, he was so patient with her and respectful throughout the process. He even had to come back on multiple days to finish the job because of these issues, and he remained respectful the entire time. I'm so grateful for Alex and highly recommend his work! Even my neighbor, after it was all said and done, was impressed with how great of a job he did. read more

I called Alex, and he came out the same day to understand what I wanted and provide me with a quote. I recently had to remove a diseased Mexican lime tree. It provided great shade so it was a loss. My gardener cut it down but could not remove the stump. I found Alex's Tree Service here on Yelp. Alex is a young businessman and did a terrific job removing the stump, cleaning and grading the area, pruning my other trees and cleaning up afterwards. His service was a very good value especially considering that these guys are working hard in the desert heat. I highly recommend Alex's Tree Service for all care of your valuable trees. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. From inquiry to appointment and ultimately service, Alex delivered. He communicated promptly and effectively; he also kept us informed day off as to his ETA. Alex was awesome the entire time of service! I called to get a quote on removing a 20ft Mexican palm tree and said he could be at my place in 20minutes. Once he got here and took a look at the work needed to be done, gave me a reasonable quote. He asked me what my plans were after the tree was gone; so he could recommend a particular service. We decided to remove and grind the stump down. Alex then asked if I wanted to done today (mind you it was already 4:00pm) I said "yes". He went home to grab the trailer and came back around 4:30pm and finished by 6:15. Very pleased with the work A+ highly recommend!!! read more

I have a very large mesquite tree in my backyard that needed significant trimming with all these winds. The tree is close to the house and hard to access. After calling several companies and getting nowhere I spoke to Alex and he promptly came by to give me a quote. He did a Great Job on the tree and the clean up and extra care taking the trimmings through a garage door opening was beyond my expectations!! I will be using him again!! read more

We needed three trees(and stumps) removed. Alex responded to me within minutes and came out that night to survey and give me the estimate. We set a date. Alex and his crew of two showed up on time and three unkempt fruit trees in our front yard were gone and hauled off in two hours, including the stump, which Alex shredded with a portable device. They adjusted the sprinklers and that was it. Given the speed and state-of-art equipment(plus the fact they didn't just bury the stump) the price is incredibly fair. I'll use his services again and highly recommend him. read more

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Nothing but a waste of my time. Contacted him over Yelp. He told me he was going to be in Palm Springs and he could do my job in a few days. Told him I would like him to come see the job and give me a quote. He came over on a Saturday, spent time, looked around , 4 major trees and 3 fruit trees. He said he wanted to do the job that week. Believe it or not 2 weeks passed and I never received a quote. I once again contacted him through Yelp and asked him what was going on - no response. Contacted him a second time no response. Total waste of time. No business savvy at all. I have hired Discount Tree Service who are punctual, professional and reasonably priced. I totally recommend them and will be reviewing soon. read more

As a retired surgeon, I have been impressed by Alex's skill, service, and organization. My wife and I have used him on several occasions for major jobs and found him to be reliable, personable, and exceptionally competent. He has the most modern equipment available, efficient help, top-notch protective gear for himself and his workers, and his charges are fair. It's impressive to watch him climb into trees with the grace of an acrobat, while he and his crew work quickly and efficiently, and meticulously clean the work area when they finish, leaving it as they found it. This is our tenth year in Palm Desert, and we have not come across any service that we could recommend more highly than Alex's. read more

5 stars to Alex and his crew! Quick response, showed up in time and just work, work, work. I had a couple palm trees that were way overdue for a trimming. Not being FT in the area, I was worried finding somebody who could do it while I'm here would be tough. Alex came out looked at it on a Sunday evening and gave a reasonable price. He even did the job right there, even insisting on blowing out the area to make sure everything clean.
