Before that I was going to Artisan Eyelashes in downtown SF. So glad I gave Alexandria Lash Studio another chance. Natalie is the only technician that got the natural, classic lashes that I wanted right. Having them makes life so much more convenient. You don't need mascara. Been coming here since 2021 to see my favorite Selena and it's the best lash studio in the area. Selena is efficient, comfortable and she listens to what you want. This is the ONLY place where I don't have backaches when I leave after my lash appointments, they care about angling their beds where you can lay there comfortably for hours, not that it ever takes them longer than the time allotted for the service. I called the day of NYE due to another lab artist canceling on me and Alexandria had answered. They were able to fit me last minute which I was thankful for. I've gotten lash extensions for 3 years but it was my first time at Alexandria's. They have a beautiful place and staff was friendly. I noticed a couple of things, I didn't get my lashes washed before she started and normally lash artists tend to do that. Once I got home to brush them, a couple had fallen off. I didn't pay much attention to it but I've never had that problem before. The next day I did wash them & a good amount of lashes fell out too. I'm so disappointed/sad because I liked the place but the retention was horrible and placement wasn't the best. I've been contemplating getting a set of lashes for a long time and then my friend got me a gift card here for my wedding. I went last weekend and man I'm obsessed. Lash extensions make such a big difference. I can easily see this becoming a lifelong thing I've gotten so many compliments. I saw Tayler and she was really sweet and clearly very talented. McKenzie is literally the best. She's been doing my lashes for over three months now and I cannot express how amazing and talented she is. Not only did my lashes make it through four days of swimming, tanning oil and laying out in the sun but they lasted almost three weeks before they really needed a fill.
