I almost gave up after weeks of trying to find a decent studio in a good location with reasonable rent, but I came across one of Chandler's listings on craigslist. I reached out through the website they had linked, and Andrew e-mailed me back promptly. He was attentive to my multiple questions and although there was a lot of back and forth via email, he was through and transparent. When it was time to do the tour, he was prompt and communicative of where we should meet and after seeing so many mid properties, I was so happy with the one I was shown. The studio was in a safe location, spacious enough for me, really good lighting and decent amount of windows, and although the building was older, knowing that there is a reliable property manager on site was comforting. I wanted to sign the lease ASAP and he sent me over to Lynn who walked me through the process of the application. The application itself was super straight forward and I moved in right away! I really did have my doubts tbh but I've been living here for about a month now and I genuinely have no complaints.

I've even had to call them when I was locked out, and they responded promptly. To top it all off, they sent lovely cookie baskets during the holidays, which was a thoughtful and personal touch. He has been very good at finding affordable and competent companies to do the regular and occasional maintenance, like replacing our flat tar roof, or keeping the old hot water boiler going. And in obtaining bids for the less common occurrences, like an attorney to update our outdated CC&Rs. Ken's staff has also been very kind, and helpful.  Important, as sometimes some of us neglect to put our recycling or trash into the correct bins, in the only way the garbage company will pick up.  If we don't do it properly, the garbage company will leave our bins, or charge us more, so someone has to manage this if we don't, to save us money and headaches! I have worked with Kinry & Assoc for about 8 years, and been thoroughly impressed with their work and caring.  And their affordability. Drunken, belligerent AirBnb guests have threatened us (we have video evidence) and have blocked our garage access, which prevented us from leaving. Running an AirBnb is clearly not allowed according to the leases we and other tenants signed with Golden Properties, but they don't care to enforce it. This led to us, and other tenants to all move out of the building within a 3 month span of each other. Golden Properties also threw away my property on our move out date, well before I had gotten to the apartment to turn in my keys. This was even despite me telling the property manager directly to his face the previous day that I would come back the next day to remove my final items and then turn in my keys. They threw away approximately $600 of property before 12PM and have refused to compensate me despite my multiple attempts to reach them. I get it, mistakes happen. But they refuse to make their mistakes right.
