Breakfast Turkey Croissant with avocado added
Ebony S.

Our family of 5 ordered breakfast here and was totally disappointed. We ordered 5 turkey croissant sandwich combos. The picture of the sandwich that the restaurant displays on door dash is completely FRAUD. The restaurant name is actually Alexander's Hub Burritos. A total waste of money, completely ruined our breakfast. I only gave it a star because I don't have the option to give NEGATIVE stars. The owner should be ashamed of robbing people out of their money like this. Thanks for nothing

Music love with food
David Q.

Food is good, tortas are giant size if you ask for the big one. Inside has tons of music albums, the music is great of whatever they are playing. This is an easy location to get to as it's right before the street light of mayo Ave where you are driving west on Rosecrans Avenue. I believe it's across from a school. You should order to get the good deals that they have in their menu. The tables inside have music albums of some of the most talented people in music history. Go inside and eat in. Go try them out.

The first on the table I cleaned off before they brought me my food. NASTY!

This is the WORST food I have ever tried using the Yelp app. The tables were FILTHY. I have never been to a restaurant no matter how big or small the restaurant may be that I could literally see the dirtiness on a white napkin so excessively like I did just now. My family and I had asada fries and the wet burrito with chips and salsa. Let me tell y'all that it was disgusting. To begin, the salsa they have is very bland, no salt or any flavor like green salsa can be. The asada fries "guacamole" is not really guac its more of a pico de gallo with pieces of avocado. The carne asada and had no flavor and the meat was dry. My daughter and I didn't finish our fries. The wet burrito was cover in the bland green salsa so my wife took a couple of bites and for rid of the rest. In addition we asked to try their chili they use for chili cheese fries and it tasted worse than canned chili. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Service wasn't all that great. The cashier looked like she didn't wamna be there

Disappointed :/

Disappointed :/ Customer service was great but im sad to say that 80 percent of my burrito were defrosted fries and this was supposed to be a california wet burrito but it jist seems to have FRIES, CHEESE, chicken and green salsa.....

Carne asada fries for dinner!
Sil O.

Third time ordering take out from Alexander's and it gets better everytime. I ordered the carne asada fries and this time they were on point! The meat was nice and tender not stale or fatty and it was seasoned... it had flavor y'all!!!! So good. Of course, the tortas never disappoint. The horchata was great too. I'll definitely be back again. Highly recommend. PS. Can't wait to try your limited time chili cheese tamales!!!!!

Wow wow wow. First time ever coming here and I decided to get Famosa Torta Cubana. So full of flavor. The sandwiches are huge and so well priced. This is a must try. Looking forward to trying more of their food

Businesses should honestly start closing at their advertised times. You waste people's time when you close early. Don't do that

It was rich, flavorful, and actually tasted homemade. The BBQ was impressive, smoky, tender, and seasoned just right. I really enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Good BBQ is hard to find in LA, but this spot gives you that "Dad or your uncle in the backyard on the grill" kind of vibe. Real, comforting, home-style food. Stop by and support a brother!

Whatever you do don't order from this place ONLINE! I had…read moreordered from Robert Earl"s earlier and got ribs with baked beans. They were out of Mac and cheese so I thought I would get Mac and cheese from Johnson's on my way home. I called them to ask if they took online orders and explained to the guy who answered that I had an electronic debit card as to explain why I asked . He said yes I could order online or over the phone . In the interim he gave the phone to some woman who kept me on hold so long that by the time she got back on the phone I had already ordered online. She confirmed my order but after hanging up I noticed the online app they use predicted a ridiculous amount of time to prepare the order (45 minutes). I was only 5 minutes away but stationary. So I called back and asked the lady how long it would take she said 15 minutes, I gave them 20 . When I got there and explained that I ordered online. Not only did I learn that the order wasn't ready but the guy at the window had the audacity to say if I had placed a phone order it would have been 15 minutes but otherwise they go by the app's time. And what his staff person told me when I called "was In error". How stupid is that? The whole premise of fast food is that it's fast. Secondly, you are willing to put online customers on the back burner based on an apps time and not real time? I looked at this man as if to say'Is that your final answer?" I don't see a line out here? Bruh it's your business, stand on it, I'm going to be about mine's. I had ordered extra food to support Black business, because remember I already had a plate in the car from Robert Earls. I pulled off and left without the food and didn't look back. Its bought sense for me. Buyer BEWARE.

The restaurant itself is small but mighty, with a cozy feel and a menu that delivers. Everything is made to order, and they offer a rotating selection of local craft beers, which is a nice touch if you like trying something new. We ordered the spicy Korean wings, and thankfully they were not overly spicy, making them easy to enjoy. The real standout, though, was the Blvd burger. It was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their burgers. Overall, the prices were better than most places, especially considering the quality. Definitely worth a visit.

PARKING There's a parking lot on the east side, about 1-2 addresses down. I could see how it could fill up, but there was plenty of parking on a Thursday night! SERVICE Tbh service was a bit slow with limited workers, but it didn't bother us. The worker did come up multiple times to place orders, clear out dishes, and bring out boxes. DRINKS Pleasantly surprised by number of local draft beer options, soju cocktails, and a few wines. The soju cocktails taste good and surprisingly creeps up to you.. it doesn't taste that strong! FOOD Fantastic!! Surprised at such great quality for a gastropub. The Guacho Grinder is a steak sandwich w/ Chimichurri on a soft french roll - beware the sandwich does fall apart when eating but it's so worth it! Very clean and friendly community! Highly recommend!

One visit we waited over 40 minutes without being acknowledged, another time our order came out wrong, and another time the food arrived cold like it had been sitting for quite a while. Because of that, I honestly did not want to come back tonight. But I was craving a good steak, and after my husband suggested giving 908 another try, I reluctantly agreed. I noticed the filet mignon on the menu paired with broccolini and decided to go for it. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt completely different. The hostess was warm and welcoming and seated us immediately. A young man came over right away with waters and took our drink order, which already surprised us in the best way. Then Alex S came to our table, and he truly made the night exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful in making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I mentioned that I didn't want a large piece of butter melting over the steak, and he happily accommodated that request. He even checked on the exact ounce size of the filet for me, which I appreciated. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, and honestly, they were the best Brussels sprouts we've ever had. Perfectly cooked, not drowning in sauce, and absolutely packed with flavor. My 8 oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare, exactly as ordered. The broccolini was crisp, fresh, and not overly oily. Everything tasted thoughtful, balanced, and worth every dollar. Most importantly, Alex S delivered spectacular service from start to finish. We were genuinely shocked to learn this was his first night shift because he handled the dining room with professionalism, warmth, and confidence far beyond what we expected. Thank you, Alex S, for completely changing our impression of 908. Tonight's experience was excellent, and for the first time, we are actually excited to come back. Thanks again, Jed Dornoff

There's a lot of parking spaces. One way in and out of the lot tho. Uncle Mac's kitchen has a nice sized restaurant. It's not big but I feel like it big enough. It looks nice. It was spacious inside with plenty of seating available. It is very clean. It was quiet but the vibes were cool especially with the music. Rayan was patient and helpful when I was looking over the menu. Very friendly and positive attitude. The other guy, I wasn't expecting him to bring my order out to me at my table. I just appreciate the professionalism and hospitality. Ryan confirmed that the fish burger was one of their best sellers and he also recommended it as a first time visitor. I was not disappointed. That just might be the best fish burger/sandwich I have ever had. That cod was fried to perfection and it just tasted so darn good. No cap. I had to compliment them after the first bite. Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.
