Moving is stressful. SO STRESSFUL…read more Now aside from packing your entire life up and moving to a new residence. Imagine moving from one state to another state. It's a terrifying experience simply because, in most cases, you know absolutely no idea what to expect from a new town/city. Everything you were so familiar with is now gone and you sort of need to start fresh. When my partner and I decided to move from Las Vegas, NV to Dallas, TX I quickly took to yelp to find the realtors of TX to help us with our search. Dallas Luxury Realty popped up as one of the top finds. I started to read the reviews, went on their website, did some research, and decided to reach out via their website one late afternoon here in Las Vegas. Early the next morning KAELYN FARIA got back to me via email and then called to follow-up. Now, when I say hanging up with her was like floating on cloud 9 - you know, that feeling that you have no worries in the world, you're just twirling around on clouds (me, on my carpet) -that's exactly how our conversation went. She put my stress at ease, provided me confidence and put a plan together for us. Within 2 weeks, I found myself following her all around Dallas, TX looking at houses, laughing in empty homes that once held other memories and really showcasing all our wants/needs before our eyes. The ease of working with her was just phenomenal! After 2 days of looking, we found the house we really wanted, put in an application and by the end of the week it was OURS (I mean, not ours, since we're renting). We could not have done this without the help of Kaelyn and Dallas Luxury Realty. THANK YOU for making this process so easy for us.

BEWARE we didn't even get in the door! We found a home we liked and paid a holding fee in August…read more The original ready date was 9/28 and later pushed to 10/7 and again to 10/8. Our rep, Tonya, was very vague in her responses and was sure to emphasize the dates were estimated. Our holding agreement stated we must sign a least by 10/6 (we didn't view until after) and that they were getting it move in ready to their high standards. The whole waiting process was stressful but we were very excited based on the photos online. When we finally got the code to view the home at 7pm on a Thursday night, we were horrified. There was an immediate odor when we walked in and we saw screws across the living room. We turned on the water and two of the sinks had leaks. One toilet didn't flush. A third sink had standing water in it. The cabinets had droppings and appeared to have a previous infestation. The carpet was dirty and old. It obviously needed to be replaced. The fence was rotten and had holes in it. We have a dog. Of course, we immediately asked what we needed to do to view other homes and transfer the money. They told us we would have to tour homes and pay another application fee ( for not wanting a filthy home). We needed to be out of our place and were about to get married, so we quickly found another place (though a sink was broken there too). Tonya told us to cancel our current application and then apply for the new home. This was a Friday. What she didn't mention is that this would take over 24 hours to happen. We woke up Saturday and realized there were too many red flags to proceed with even settling in the other home. I requested a cancellation and refund. It took over a week for them to respond. They said that since we did not enter a lease, the $500 holding fee is theirs to keep because of the time it was off the market. Only, it was not off the market. It was supposedly under repair. It was not ready by the agreed date on the agreement. And it was not in a quality, livable condition. Each person I spoke to led me in a different direction and never provided a clear answer. It was always vague and "they" (another department) will get back to you. I am glad we decided not to commit but they should 100% not only apologize but refund our holding fee.
