For Fowler property management, since 2 Months ago, we sent the invoice, it has not been paid, we try to reach out, no response for a long time, Isaiah Jones Can not give a reason why they are not taking care of the invoice, he keeps saying he is reaching out to accounting to get us paid, we keep getting the same answers everyday. I have lived at Fowler Property for a year. I recently just moved out in May. They have the WORST habit of posting your rent and utility bill late so you pay them extra fees. You can't pay the rent early due to the app set up. After you sign your lease agreement, it's veryyy hard to get hold of your property manager or staff. Roaches,homeless ppl, and trash were everywhere at the Regan St location. Moving out was a headache also. I gave them 3 months notice, they weren't able to give me an actual last due amount to charge late fees and etc. Definitely document everything wrong with your apartment so they won't charge you when you move out. Been here ( Fowler Property) for only 6 months and it's the worse place I've EVER lived. They keep changing what utilities are now included in the rent and according to my lease it states ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RENT. They charge me two separate garbage removal fees. A couple cleaning fees even though it's always disgusting dirty and smelly here. There is an obvious mold or sewer issue cause it smells horribly in the complex. No one has any good answers to our questions IF they do respond. DONT TRUST THEM. read more

They are going to release me from my lease but only by keeping my security deposit! RUN DO NOT WALK from the management company and any property the manage. The neighbours apartment leaked urine, feces, mold Again. My rugs were damaged. Complete lack of professionalism from Fowler. Paint & plaster fell off wall. Floor boards are swollen and will fall apart. No dehumidifier provided. No assistance. I was left cleanung the mess. Guy showed up with wet vac & I had to fo it! I had gifts in a box-all ruined. My review is for the apartments on San Jacinto. The biggest issue is the complex is infested with roaches. The laundry room is not a plus at this property. While living there for a year, most of the machines were not up to par and it was dirty. My only other issue is Kelly, that works in the office, is very condescending. Positives are at this property all of my maintenance requests were answered in a timely manner. Also, all of my administrative issues were immediately fixed as well. There is never a problem with parking. The neighbors were pretty much quiet and the community is LGBT friendly. read more

Please read in totality if you are considering doing any sort of business with Fowler. I have been waiting for my security deposit (what little I got back) to clear to write this review because in terms of customer service and satisfaction, Fowler has to be the worst company at any level I have dealt with. Shortly after moving in to our residence, We were having trouble getting ahold of the property manager, in fact we actually texted our realtor "everything is going great, except we cannot get in touch with anyone from Fowler." That specific employee did not stay long, but in terms of communication, it just got worse. During one point, our fridge and freezer was broken for over a month, and we reached out to Fowler quite literally dozens of times, and they were completely unresponsive. Not a phone call, not a text, not an email or voicemail, just thousands of dollars being lost from us having to throw all our food away, and eat out for every single meal. Some screenshots of email interactions where we had to threaten legal action are attached for more details on that. After a month long battle just to get in contact with someone, we finally got Blake Fowler to reach out, and to no surprise we received no reduction in rent. This was not the only maintenance issue we had. Our washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, and Air conditioner seemed to be broken just as much as it worked. On top of their unresponsiveness, they source their maintenance out to a third party which is just insane for a company of their size. The maintenance is run by a company called 7-star who are incredibly unhelpful. They will literally hang-up on you, give you a 5-hour window which they will come with no heads up, so for people who commute to work it is virtually impossible to get any repairs done unless you take a day off. We would have to start leaving out door open for them and at times they would show up, say the issue was fixed, and not solve anything. When we gave our notice to move out our AC was broken and they never even tried to fix it, we spent 60 days without being able to use an entire floor of our home. I am not sure why we were surprised, but the recent move out experience was no different. There was no real instructions for move out, but we did the best we could to clean up to get as much of our security deposit as possible back and obviously that did not work. They charged us $250 for a "full clean" which when we asked was described as a total clean of the house, yet we were then on top of that charged individually for every single thing you could possibly clean in house like "clean sink" "clean toilets'" "Clean shower" "Clean Fridge" Etc. etc. We had a maid come every three weeks so that does not add up. We were also charged $400 for a carpet clean and our house was described as having a "Dirty Sock Smell" All three of us who lived there had incredibly clean girlfriends who never once made a comment about our house stinking; I would bet everyone is charged for this regardless. I could go on forever about this experience, and the utter lack of effort by everyone at Fowler, but I hope just one person reads this and is deterred by our experience, because if you read other reviews it seems like everyone had a very similar experience. Fowler management is absolute trash. Erin is a scam artist. Lease was cancel 30 days after renewed. But wasn't informed until 3 months later. They canceled the lease. Rent was still paid. Charged me $500 to have windows replaced that the foundation broke. Black mold everywhere and maintenance is half ass. Gary, one of the tenants is one of the fakest people I've ever met. He's worse than the black mold. Careful if you ever stay in one of the air b n bs with him on site. Your car might be smashed by his lack of driving ability. I and other tenants who were there when things were nice will be contacting code compliance with the city of Dallas merely to prevent others from getting screwed by Fowler financially and health wise , due to their negligence. This place is literally the reason they have those commercials about getting a cash settlement for mesothelioma. Erin more than likely pocketed the $500. Couldn't get her to call me or my girlfriend back after leaving many voice mails. UNTIL i mentioned calling code compliance haha She called back with a attitude. All the while i was living there on a sublease from the prior property owners and not on the lease. And she knew this the whole time yet still took money from me. I want to say that I was excited about going to view a property in Dallas, Texas, BUT I WAS NOT!!! I inquired about a property with someone over the phone named Adam. He was very angry and ugly with me over the telephone. I was nice and pleasant to him and was excited about leasing a property from Fowler. He had a nasty horrible attitude. The rude guy answered the phone and said to me "If you would have called Fathom, you would have known to schedule a showing." "The scheduling procedure has been around for 15 years." "You better call Fathom!" "You should have known that if you are a realtor." He went on and on with all other smart-alec rude remarks. It did not feel like I was talking to a leasing professional; it felt like if maybe they had an intern or a janitor answering the phones after hours. I was so upset and disappointed. I suppose this what Fowler Properties stands for. This is there motto, mission statement, vision statement, and core belief. This is how he talks to all of his clients and customers. I am in total disbelief and shock. I will NEVER refer anyone new to Texas or any homeless individual to Fowler ever!!! That guy who answered my call was NOT inviting, welcoming, nice, professional, ethical, nor mature. Perhaps I caught him at the wrong time; may because it was close to 6pm and he was tired and cranky and ready to get home to his wife and kids. I do NOT want to ever rent from Fowler Properties. I am pushing for a FULL REFUND. I highly recommend all future clients and customers to record all further conversations and get the persons full name you talk to. read more

They wanted everybody out of both buildings so they evicted everyone. I was being evicted even though they were aware i was preapproved for rental assistance thru Kansas. not only did they continue with eviction after refusing to accept the payment from Kansas but they got a judgement and then the very next day called and wanted to all of a sudden be paid again from Kansas. part of the agreement for them to accept funds from kera says that they will not evict me. they went around this and they are very shady people. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. i was given 15 min notice by the sherif to get my stuff and get out and then have been homeless now since 9/20/22. Don't rent from them. read more

The worst apartment management company a lot like Butler property company. They won't do maintenance when requested and will try to Nickle and dime you on move out. They don't ever contact you back nor do they ever answer the phones. You can leave emails and voicemails as much as you want but doesn't matter because they won't contact you back. I'm in the middle of trying to file a lawsuit against them but they won't even get back to me about all the information they are going to charge me with. They charged me at the end of my lease for another month of rent plus took away my security deposit just because I didn't submit a 60 day notice to vacate all though I submitted one to them 30 days prior to end of lease over the phone. But once again they don't do their job and never submitted my request after I did both online and over the phone. They are a joke and it's better to pay a little more than to ever move in with Fowler. On top of them charging me another month of rent they change the locks on the apartment a week into the extra charged month.
