I purchased a 2010 Chevy Silverado from Sergio Covarrubias Jr. for $9,300. The vehicle was sold without a smog certificate and has since failed smog twice. The paperwork provided to me contains dealership information, but I later contacted the dealership and was told Sergio was not an authorized agent. I am currently working with DMV Investigations to have the transaction and paperwork reviewed. Sergio Covarrubias Jr., I am asking you to do the right thing: take the vehicle back and return my $9,300. I have tried to resolve this directly and amicably, but we have not reached a resolution. I'm posting this to protect other consumers and hopefully reach someone who can help us resolve this matter fairly. Please share so others can be cautious.
