I just got married 2 weeks ago and Alex did both our engagement and wedding photo shoot. He is VERY kind, passionate, very professional and talented !! I was very nervous and worried before the engagement photoshoot , and asked him a lot of questions( about the location suggestion, what to wear and etc) and made a lot of changes. But he was very friendly all the time and gave fast responses! and he is really good at make you laugh and relax:) All of the pictures came out amazing, and we have received tons and tons of compliments from friends and families! Alex is very easy to work with and you dont have to worry about anything. Just rely to him and let him make masterpieces! Among all the vendors we worked with, Alex was definitely my favorite vendor and would definitely recommend him! And will love to do maternity and baby picture with him again! read more

Alex did our engagement photos in the pouring rain, super accommodating with my special outfit needs and was so enthusiastic and supportive throughout our photo session. I am not a big social media or selfie person, and Alex's art direction was very helpful. You'd have no idea looking at our photos how gloomy and overcast the day was. Highly, highly recommend! read more

I want to first start this review with a big "thank you, Alex!" We can't express enough how grateful we are for Alex's professionalism, amazing sense of humor, talent, and generosity. We hired Alex to be our photographer for our wedding day. You can tell that he is incredibly passionate about his work, and it shows in his work product. Everyone at the party had so much fun with his great sense of humor and his incredible ability to get people engaged for photos. Our wedding pictures came out so beautiful and we've gotten endless compliments from friends and family. I've learned that a great wedding is not only composed of close family and friends, but also with great vendors, like Alex, who bring their very best to ensure that your event is worth the months of planning. I had been searching for a wedding photographer in this saturated wedding market for a long time, but it was extremely challenging to find someone who could come near our budget. Alex was more than willing to work with us and we hired him right away. It was a no brainer and we got more than we had bargained for. A major plus was that he is bilingual and was able to communicate with both of our families. I highly recommend him. read more

The lighting, angles, and bokeh were all perfect. Alex was also very kind, accommodating, and great at directing a crowd to ensure the best possible photos are taken. Prior to putting a deposit, we had met with Alex and his team at their Pasadena office to look at additional samples/porfolios. We also broke down the timeline of the wedding day, which they were willing to work with us on. We and our families/friends/relatives were extremely impressed with Alex and his team for our morning ceremony and night time reception. They were professionally suited with multiple cameras on them at all times. Alex kept constant communication with us the whole time to have us and our guests pose perfectly for the camera so that all the shots would come out the way we would want it to. At the same time, his team was constantly active in terms of capturing all the details of our day. In summary, they made sure they captured our most precious moments even if we did not know it. When we reviewed the photos, we were amazed as to every details that they captured as my wife and I were too busy doing our thing during the ceremony and reception. Everyone has fallen in love with their work (our pictures) after we had posted them on facebook. Even the non-touched-up (unedited) pictures came out perfect. Due to the quality of Alex and his team's service, we had also purchased a photobook through them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pictures speak a thousand words so I am including some pictures of our wedding to show the quality of service. read more

I had a good experience with him. He has reasonable pricing and a friendly attitude. It's obvious he enjoys his work and is passionate. My only complaint is, I wanted a darker background in addition to the nice white one he chose. I did express openly that I wanted something different during the shoot but maybe I should have been more direct. To be fair, I was a bit moody that day, and he did well under the circumstances. Thank you Alex. We will definitely use his services again. read more

Alex and his team were very kind and professional during my wedding. When I had a first meeting with him, we felt he tried to make relationship with us, and then it would be very helpful for good pose during photoshoot. Also, even we were sort of picky client that asked many things of our photos, he listened and kept in his mind to meet our requirements. My wife and I are very happy to work with his team, and highly recommend him as photographer of your life event. read more

Alex and his team did an awesome job for my engagement photos and my wedding, honestly Alex was almost like a wedding coordinator the way he helped smooth the way for our big day! He even sewed the button back on my husbands jacket when he popped it off by accident, which was a lifesaver (makes me laugh thinking about it). His pricing was beyond reasonable and he was more than willing to be flexible with hours to accommodate my Chinese/Western mixed wedding scheduling (vow ceremony/tea ceremony in the morning with a break in between before reception). He is a perfectionist and is dedicated in taking the perfect shot, just be patient with the "one more" and you will end up with some lovely pictures as a result :D We liked him so much we hired him for maternity photos as a gift to my sister-in-law and her husband for their first baby and they had nothing but great things to say about him as well. We look forward to hiring him for any future events, hopefully a maternity one sometime in the near future (as promised ;D). Nothing else to say but thanks for everything Alex! - Albert and Leslie P.S. Our wedding was last year in the fall 2015 and we hired him for the maternity shoot early this year. read more

My wife and I approached Alex about a year ago to do our engagement and wedding photos. I was drawn to him because the photos on his website were always sharp/in focus, tastefully done, and captured good moments happening. After meeting him in person I was convinced by his polite and funny personality which I knew would work well when trying to take photos at the wedding venue. Our photos are all done now, and I can say without hesitation that Alex exceeds expectations given his price point. He skillfully took creative/art photographs for our engagement session and was able to transition to documentary style photographs for our wedding. We were very pleased with Alex and strongly recommend him for engagement/wedding photos. read more

Alex is very kind and professional. My wife and I met him at his office in April for a causal wedding photo-shooting session in July. He was very thorough, showing us some of his sample work and techniques and offering a lot of suggestions to us as to where/what time are good places to have the photo-shooting session. He was flexible, as my wife and I made a few last minute changes before our day, and the photo-shoot session yet went very well and smooth. Alex was very familiar with the surroundings and he captured many beautiful moments and expressions for me and my wife. Alex was also our photographer for our wedding lunch party after the photo-shooting session. He did a wondering job taking family photos for us.
