My husband and I hired Robert for our wedding in downtown LA, and he exceeded every single expectation for wedding pictures we had. We loved how patient, professional, and attentive Robert was with us. He did his due diligence and went to the venue a few days before to see where he could get great group shots (these pictures came out amazing despite us melting in the heat). My husband had originally planned to end our night at a local taco stand and have Robert take pictures of us there, but towards the end of the night we scratched that because were so tired. However, Robert refused to end his night, because he did not want to miss if a moment for pictures would arise. We are glad he stayed, he captured our daughter singing and dancing to our last song "Dancing Queen". Robert Vega is amazing! He is a preferred vendor at Brookside Golf Course at the Rose Bowl so we scheduled a consult. My husband and I met with him and we loved his work. We loved his style and that he is familiar with the venue. We met a couple times during the planning process to coordinate the day of. We did not hire a wedding planner or day of coordinator, so Robert and his wife were very helpful! The day of our wedding he shot the men at our house and then went to our Air B&B to shoot the ladies. He has so many great ideas and all of the pictures came our beautifully. He moved around constantly during our ceremony and reception and got so many great shots,many candid pictures and some poses. Robert even knew the time of day the sun would set and planned our wedding party shots around the sunset. Our wedding day was definitely one that we will forever look back upon and tell our children and grandchildren about for generations to come. The #WoolseyFire broke out in the eve of our wedding and, come Friday morning, it had completely engulfed our beautiful city and local communities in flames and despair. On Friday morning, day of the wedding, you could imagine how chaotic it was for me and my husband to process what was going on, let alone to figure out how to salvage our ceremony and reception plans due to mandatory evacuations all throughout East Ventura County cities. Early Friday morning, I contacted Robert and he expressed his concern for our safety and changes with venue due to evacuation orders. Robert arrived promptly at the house for "getting ready shots" and worked with Wesley and me to keep us calm and collected for our "first look" shots. The entire day, Robert stuck by our sides and made the mood light and humorous, which was really helpful and appreciated. For our engagement shoot, months before the wedding day, Robert did his due diligence to find the location for the style of photoshoot we were looking for. Overall, we are so pleased with the quality of pictures and photography services we received with Robert and look forward to working with him in the future for other life events we have in the near future (i.e. new home, baby Tipton, anniversary shoot, etc.). In November 2010, Robert Vega took some of the most amazing candid shots of my 3 very active boys for our Christmas card. The photos were able to capture them in some rambunctious, serious and silly moments. After I sent out the cards I received 3 phone calls from friends asking where I had the photos done. (I have never had anyone call me and compliment my card much less ask where the photos were done at!) Rob is exceptionally talented and easy to work with.
