We had an amazing experience with our engagement photographer, Tom! From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely at ease. My fiancé and I aren't used to being in front of a professional camera, so we were a little nervous and worried we might look awkward. Tom's friendly personality, patience, and guidance helped us relax almost immediately, making the entire session feel effortless and enjoyable. The photos turned out absolutely stunning. Tom has an incredible talent for capturing genuine, candid moments that truly reflect our personalities and the love we share. Every image feels natural, authentic, and beautifully composed. What really sets Tom apart is his ability to make the experience just as memorable as the photos themselves. He made us laugh, feel comfortable, and simply enjoy being together, and that joy truly shines through in every picture. If you're looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also makes you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera, we wholeheartedly recommend Tom. We couldn't be happier with our engagement photos and will cherish them for a lifetime. Thank you, Tom, for capturing such a special chapter in our lives so beautifully! read more

My sister hired Tom to take photos of my niece's red egg and ginger celebration. While I was just an attendee at the party, I was witness to Tom's professionalism and knack for capturing even the smallest details and moments. He had our photos ready to go in a very timely manner, sending the link for easy access. The pictures turned out great - they were sharp and captured the vivid colors of the party. Lots of candids as well! Very appreciative of his work, as these are our forever memories! read more

So I found Tom online on Bark and literally had no idea what I was doing, what costs were for a photographer, felt really overwhelmed and didn't want to mess up by getting a bad photographer. It must had been God because the first person I connected with was Tom and BOY did I hit it right on the money! Thank you Jesus! Right away, he was very helpful at explaining everything, I felt comfortable with him and he was at a very affordable price. He answered my literal million questions and offered an engagement shoot for a next to nothing price! At the engagement shoot, I knew I had found the right photographer! He was funny, personable, made my now husband (who is not a fan of his picture being taken) feel very relaxed and comfortable and took the most gorgeous photos! He even recommended the place after I described what I was looking for. Engagement shoot day..... PERFECT! I loved that I did not have to wait long for my photos, I loved that he told us how to pose when we needed directions, I loved that he made us laugh the whole time. All the way up to the wedding, Tom was very easy to get ahold of, made himself very available to go over things and ideas and gave input when I asked for it. This man has so many years in the wedding Industry and it shows! He's so knowledgeable about everything! Last minute I decided I needed a videographer and Tom was able to recruit Christian, who also, WAS AMAZING! Christian also was very personable, made us feel comfortable and was helpful to get us to do and say what we needed to get great video shots! Okay, wedding day!!! Tom showed up perfect timing, right when I was getting my makeup done and the guys were getting ready. He got amazing photos and my husband told me he even helped the guys do their ties because they didn't know what they were doing... lol. Every single one of my wedding party couldn't say enough good things about Tom and Christian. How funny Tom was, how Christian was such a detail person and saw everything little thing, how they really knew what they were doing and were both very professional. Tom took literally thousands of photos and I have been going through them every day, reliving my amazing day! Tom is a rockstar and so is Christian! They made my day perfect down to every little detail I asked for. I am so impressed with how many beautiful pictures I have. My husband and I can now look at our photos and relive every second of that day! Tom and Christian went above and beyond for us and I highly recommend for any occasion! We are definitely using him in the future and referring him to everyone we can. Thank you Tom and Christian. read more

Sharing my appreciation for Tom and his wonderful job photographing our son's first birthday. He captured such precious memories at a time when I was busy hosting, running around, and definitely would not have remembered to take photos myself. Because of Tom, we now have beautiful images that truly reflect the joy and special moments of the day. Beyond the photos themselves, I really appreciated how kind and fun he was throughout the entire event. He blended in seamlessly and was great with our guests. The photos turned out amazing, and I'm so grateful to have these memories preserved so perfectly. Highly recommend! read more

Tom did a beautiful job of capturing our wedding day. We had the pleasure of booking Tom early on, and got a great deal that included engagement photos! If I'm being totally honest... the price felt too good to be true! Most wedding photography is wildly expensive... but we were so happy to find Tom who provided a reasonable quote ! We were nervous that the quality might not be the best, after all, he's on the cheaper end of the spectrum. But man..... what a total score for us. We got HIGH QUALITY service that would normally cost us thousands and thousands of dollars. My fiance and I were so impressed with the engagement photos, we could not wait to see what beautiful magic he would come up with on our wedding day. He did not disappoint... Tom delivered such beautifully captured moments that I still look at on the daily. His work speaks for itself. My husband and I feel like Tom was almost more helpful than our coordinator! He directed everyone when it came to photos, which is exactly what I needed ! I was able to relax the entire time because Tom took it upon himself to be in charge... cannot emphasize what that did for us. We just got to enjoy the moment. If you want to perfectly capture that one special day AND get an additional coordinator in the process, pick Tom. And quite frankly, it was a steal. Tom should be charging much much more. Get this... our photos were ready TWO DAYS LATER. No extra cost. The videographer, Christian, he brought on was also so very talented. When I watched the video back... I was in tears. Absolute cinema. Christian and Tom were so fun and kind, I really wanted them to stay longer, OFF the clock just as as our guests! Don't think it over... I promise you will not regret hiring these two. Book them before they become unavailable! read more

This review is a bit over due. I worked with Tom for some family photos at the end of December. The whole experience with him was great. He made the perfect suggestion for a location for our large group. He was punctual and professional. My daughter is special needs. Tom was patient with her for the entirety of the session. I very much appreciated that. We got our photos back in a timely manner. The photos themselves were wonderful. I am so glad he was able to capture our family memories. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Tom as our photographer. He captured absolutely beautiful photos of our day and had an incredible eye for direction and vision. He made us feel comfortable, confident, and guided every shot perfectly so the photos came out stunning. One of the things our guests loved most was his ability to take photos and send them immediately to their phones. It was such a unique touch and made the experience even more special for everyone. The turnaround time for the full gallery was unbelievably quick. We were amazed at how fast he delivered such high-quality photos without sacrificing any detail. His professionalism, creativity, and talent truly made our wedding memories unforgettable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond and delivers exceptional work. read more

I was looking for a photographer for my daughter's 1st birthday. Kinda looked last minute, so I was worried no one would be available. Found Tom on Yelp, reached out, and got a response right away. Tom was always on top of replying to our questions. Such a great personality, it was so much fun to work with him. Even our guests were saying what great conversations they had with him. We got our pictures back so fast, it was unbelievable. We will definitely be working with Tom again. It was such a great and memorable experience. read more

Just a few weeks before our private wedding ceremony, we decided to try to find a photographer. We put a project request out on Yelp and Tom responded to our inquiry within the hour, sent sample shoots in the location we requested, and had a contract over to us at an incredibly reasonable price. The whole coordination process with him was so easy. He met us at the location and was early, approachable, and professional. During and after the ceremony, Tom captured every moment and totally surpassed our expectations - giving us words of wisdom about marriage, taking us to every spot he knew around city hall, and warming up to our families. We could not have asked for a better experience. Unbelievably, Tom had the digital photos back to us in 48 hours. We received over 2500 photos and have been able to share the gallery with friends and family. The photos came out amazingly and we are so grateful to have found Tom and how he was able to capture the warmth of our celebration. Thank you Tom!!! We would absolutely work with him again. read more

Tom was amazing from the moment we met at a very crowded bridal expo and left a lasting impression that ultimately had us choose his company to book for our engagement shoot and wedding. He took two (extremely awkward infront of the camera) people (who never ever take pictures together) and made us laugh and feel more comfortable while shooting our engagement photos. My family and friends can't stop complementing us on how amazing the photos are. We can't wait to have him shoot our wedding! To sum everything up, LA Digital Photo is: Super easy to work with, Very relaxed easy going and non-pressuring, and just all around amazing people, super communicative and responds to text way faster than my own mother. If you're on the fence and he happens to have your date available still, what are you waiting for?!?! Book him before someone else does! read more

Tom and his wife Cindy were such a blessing to work with! From the very first moment we met, we told them we tend to be very awkward but they reassured us they would help us feel comfortable during the shoot. They knew the popular areas of Pasadena city hall and put us in several poses. We were able to have fun, light-hearted conversation which I think translated into some really beautiful shots! We finished the day without sore or tired cheeks. ON TOP OF THAT, turnaround was quick!Would definitely book again for another occasion and recommend to others (: read more

Tom was a wonderful photographer! From the very start he was incredibly responsive, which is very important to me. He showed up early on our big day and snapped a ton of photos throughout the day. We would definitely consider using him again for future events and recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer. read more

Tom was amazing, kind, and HILARIOUS. He made us both laugh non stop during our photoshoot. We had rented a car for our shoot and the company owner was present during the shoot. That person was extremely rude and almost ruined our moment.. we eloped and didn't have any pictures so this was basically our once in a life time wedding memories and Tom did not let this guy ruin our day. Tom made us forget how rude the other guy was and we enjoyed our wedding shoot together and laughed so much! Thanks for the laughs and memories and the great photos, Tom! Oh, and the photos were suppose to be ready in about 4-5 days since he was busy with other bookings. Nope, he got right to work and sent them the next morning and they were BEAUTIFUL! read more

We hired Tom for our engagement photoshoot and are so happy that we did. I'm not usually photogenic, so I was pretty nervous and prepared to not like any of the photos, but honestly they turned out amazing. We love them. Additionally, the quality of the photos are great, we didn't have to wait long for them, Tom was very nice and easy to work with, and he was willing to go on a little hike with us to get the shots. We thought the price was very reasonable as well. Thank you so much, Tom!! read more

We are so impressed with LA Digital Photo's work on our wedding day! We first met Tom Keene at a vendor open house, and he was so helpful with his knowledge and recommendations. His insights went beyond just photo and video, and he gave us such peace of mind choosing our venue. For our videography, we were matched with Christian Sanchez, and we couldn't have asked for a better fit. We LOVED Christian! Christian felt like a friend, and his guidance made us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We're typically a bit awkward with posing, but he knew just how to direct us so we could feel natural and simply enjoy our day. He also knew our venue so well, which made a huge difference in making the most of the beautiful spaces. Now that we've received our wedding video (in advance of the estimated timeline in our contract which was a pleasant surprise), we're truly blown away! LA Digital Photo captured the essence and joy of our celebration so perfectly--especially moments we had forgotten since now. They really paid attention to us. Their edits captured the details so special to us. This video is something we'll cherish forever. We're so grateful to the entire team and highly recommend their services! read more

Working with Tom Keene for our wedding photography was like having a BEST friend behind the lens. And Tom IS a professional photographer friend. Trust Tom, don't trust your-amateur-friend-behind-the-camera-friend to take the same pro quality shots. Let your amateur down gently: you can tell them, "thanks for offering but we hired someone, friend." From the start, he was communicative and able to work with our budget. Tom captured our family moments and the ceremony by the Pasadena City Hall fountain with familiarity and ease. We gave him a shotlist and he knew exactly what we were trying to do and lent his professional skills toward our vision. This is so crucial because we felt like we were actually collaborating together. The pacing of his work was perfect, never rushed, yet efficient. His experience, particularly at Pasadena City Hall, was evident as he guided us through various beautiful shots, from playful bubble photos to elegant poses with a Porsche. He knew the place, the lighting, the timing, and the passerby behavior like the back of his hand. We didn't skip a beat, there was no downtime, every moment was used wisely and seamlessly as we scooted from one spot to another. Our entourage worked so well with Tom that it felt like they've been friends for years. Having been in makeup & hair since 3am for a 9am shoot, I was tired, but this photoshoot energized me and kept the excitement going for the rest of the day. I also had some bra issues and Tom gave me a single pro-tip that saved me from any wardrobe malfunctions. If only Janet Jackson had Tom on her team. We had a hater intrude at one point, she heckled us and told us about how her god prefers things one way or another, in stereotypical bigoted (lack of) fashion. Without hesitation, Tom stood up for us and called security promptly while he shielded us--"love is love," he said as he stepped in front of her. These security services weren't listed as part of the photo package, but I felt as safe as Taylor Swift in a sea of fans--because Tom went above-and-beyond. 5/5 Compassionate, empathetic, professional, top notch...are words that I would use to describe him. Would love to work with Tom again. And you would too. read more

Tom was an excellent & highly professional photographer and easy to work with for our wedding event. Even working without an assistant, he was nimble in finding great backdrops for our photos and captured multiple images for every group to make sure there were no blinks or errant glances! His sense of humor kept us relaxed. He was also exceptionally fast with editing, sending us a link to our vast photo collection just days after the wedding. Attaching a few example photos showing his ability to both stage groups, and also catch sweet candids. We highly recommend Tom's services and would happily use him again! read more

I cannot say enough good things about LAdigitalPhoto! When I first contacted them to inquire about videography, I got an instant response. Tom answered my millions of questions & sent me photos & videos they had shot at my venue in the past. I felt like a friend, not a customer so I was not hesitant to book. Tom did a great job of building an instant relationship & trust. We kept contact up until the day about details as they unfolded. Brides you know how planning can get the best of you & everything becomes a blur. I totally forgot about having a videographer the day of because everything was chaos until he showed up right on time, of course! We were blessed to get Christian who is an absolute gem! Him & my photographer instantly started working together & they totally clicked, it was awesome. Christian went above & beyond, not to mention he was such a sweetheart. He was an absolute joy to have around all day! He even buttoned up my dress for me because all my girls had nails on & couldn't do it. I would give 5,000 stars if I could! If I ever need videography again, I will never go to anyone else! Thank you, Tom & Christian! read more

We did a lot of research on photographers and LA Digital Photo definitely stood out. The price was great, photos he had on his website was good , service was amazing and overall just great company to work with. Tom was very responsive before we moved forward with him. We decided to do our engagement and our wedding with him as he is very professional. We actually had our engagement session with him about a week and a half ago and we are happy with the results. During our engagement session he gave us a-lot of ideas and poses to do for our photos. And he didn't make it feel weird either the poses we did felt completely natural. I do want to mention that he was not rushing us in our photos and even went to 2 different city's for us for our pictures. He went above and beyond by providing us our pictures we took the next day.
