I've had a terrible knee problem since I had a ski accident when I was 15, and I finally decided to go to the doctor and see if they could replace it, knock it into place, put some dead guys ligaments in there...
I SWEAR TO YOU, my experience here was identical to that of Louis CK in this sketch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzEhoyXpqzQ
Doctor: Yea your ankle is just worn out.
*Patient: What do you mean, I injured my ankle?
Doctor: No it's just shitty. Eh they get like that, not good anymore.
*Patient: So just goodbye, there's nothing, no options, so is this the incurable shitty ankle and thats it.
Doctor: Well there's things you can do like stretch, for 30 minutes a day.
*Patient: How long will it take to fix it?
Doctor: No you just do that now until you and your shitty ankle both die.
*Patient: Well dude this hurts alot.
Doctor: Well you can take aleve, take 10 a day and you'll be fine."
Only I'm not 40. He gave me a Prescription to stretch, signed it and all.
When I went to pay my co payment of $35 they did not accept debit/credit cards. They told me they would bill me.
Today, I received a collections call for $120. I tell them I never got the bill, they tell me, "well isn't your address .... 679th Place?" No. No because Miami doesn't have 679 f*ing avenues and surely someone got that returned envelope from the USPS that said 'Address not deliverable', and if that same challenged receptionist who entered the data incorrectly had done her job right they would have called me before trying to wreck my awesome credit.
I really hate doing this to a business...but 1 star is all I could afford. read more
