For what it costs, I was a bit disappointed that the appointment, aside from the actual microdermabrasion (~5 mins), consisted more of a 4-5 step skincare routine - applying cleanser, applying mask, applying lotion. Application of the mask and sitting in the mask took up most of the appointment time. Extractions, hot facial steam, face/neck massages were not included. Overall: Reading some of the reviews now, it seems that Yourim is more commonly booked for eyelash extensions, rather than skin facials. If I'm ever in the market for an eyelash tech, I'd be happy to check her out again. For facials, I may have to check elsewhere.

Had a really bad experience with this clinic. My first visit was virtual and the medication prescribed did not work. Was asked to provide pictures prior to the visit which were not even reviewed by anyone based on the questions that were asked. So I scheduled an in person visit with the nurse practitioner as a follow up. There was no attempt for a thorough diagnosis. Generic triggers like weather and stress were given as findings. I sought a second opinion and the doctor performed required tests and laid out treatment options. That is what we expect from any medical practitioner. The two visits were a total waste of time and money with incorrect diagnosis.

After having a virtual consult I was then put on a regimen of HQ and retinol among other skincare products that were recommended (my skin didn't really tolerate HQ too well) and this regimen seemed to have helped my skin for the time being, but then something horrible happened to the melasma on my face!! My skin has darkened to the point I can barely cover it with makeup ( I literally cry when I look at my face in the mirror because of how dark the HQ has made the melasma on my face. I don't even know how to reverse this damage and I feel so hopeless because now it seems I have to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to correct this skin issue that was never this bad.
