This was my first time coming to this salon and I absolutely loved it!! The staff were so welcoming and did an incredible job on my hair. Frank and Judith worked their magic to bring my hair back to life after being damaged and dry. Definitely recommend going here! I bought some shampoo from them as well. read more

This review is for Tiffany, who gave me a haircut and style. I had previously gone to Tiffany when she was at a different salon and was very happy with the haircut and colour she gave me. I was happy to hear that she had moved to a salon closer to me, so I left the kids with my husband and went for some pampering. Tiffany is very friendly and attentive to what you want in a hair cut. She listened to my ideas and then gave me some suggestions that would work well for my hair type. She asked how I would usually style my hair so that the cut would be easy for me to manage at home. This was great, as I've had experiences in the past where I look amazing coming out of the salon, but when I try to style my hair at home I look like an unkempt poodle. Not the case with Tiffany. She is very thorough and initially cut my hair damp, then dried it and finished the process so she could make sure the result was exactly what I wanted. She continually made sure I was happy with how the cut was going and when she styled it, she showed me exactly what she was doing and gave me some tips to try at home. I came out of the salon with an amazing haircut and feeling great. This morning after washing my hair, styling was very easy and the cut looks great. I will definitely come back to Tiffany next time I need a hair cut. I know she also does hair and eyelash extensions and I am looking forward to trying them out! As soon as I can get my husband to warm up to the idea, that is... The salon itself is very clean and modern looking. It isn't very big, but it doesn't feel too crowded either. The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. Afterwards I had lunch at Flame Broiler in the same center. There are lots of places to eat so it's convenient! :) read more

I've been coming to AKA for years now, and while I've bounced from stylist to stylist based on availability Kelsey is by far my favorite. She's always incredibly friendly and we share tons of laughs while she perfectly covers my roots and even takes the time to color my brows as well. The entire team is always having a ball! Laughing and joking with each other, it's just a super fun environment to be in while receiving the best possible salon services. read more

This place is amazing! I just went for my second time and am even happier with these results. Frank did a great job and was able to do exactly what I wanted for my cut. Everyone is friendly and the studio is very clean. Will be back in a few months!! read more

First timer to this salon and was immediately greeted like family here! Everyone here was so cool and chill. Although my stylist was laid back and easy going, he surely amazed me with his expertise. Trust the process they say....I trust him. Definitely will come back! Thank you Aldo and your team in delivering, fulfilling, and leaving me with a great impression. read more

This review is for Aldo. I came in on a Friday afternoon to do my hair. I wanted to do a balayage and showed him a picture of guy tang's work that I liked. Aldo let me know that my hair wouldn't get as blonde as in the picture, but he assured me he'd create something pretty. After about 3.5 hours, I was finally done! I must say I wasn't pleased with my hair, since I thought it didn't look like I got it done at a salon. I think it was a bit too subtle. The next day, I was pretty upset that I had just spent close to $200 on hair that I didn't like. I met with Aldo the following week and asked for just one color, since ombres and balayages don't seem to work well on me... After dying my hair back to dark and all one color, I followed him up to the desk to pay. He told me not to worry about it and apologized for it not coming out nice the first time. I was SO thankful he didn't charge me. There really aren't many ppl these days that aren't all about the money. Aldo actually cares about his work and his clients. I wish there were more people like him around. I will be back just because he is such a good person. read more

I'm just gonna say it: Kelsey is the best hair stylist in Orange County!! She is a total sweetheart, and a true master with hair and color. I'm totally clueless when it comes to hair, so all I do is give Kelsey general ideas, and she does the rest. I have never been disappointed. She has done some truly amazing things with my hair color. I'm so sad that I now live in San Francisco, but If I'm ever in So Cal, I will definitely be making a trip down to see Kelsey! read more

Cut and Style and Makeup are great, BUT very high priced for what you get, it's a strip mall hair place just one step above Supercuts. I don't mind paying pricey for hair to look good BUT If you are thinking color, think again, they claim to be specialists but when i got my platinum hair color, root touch up over 5 months, my hair is a cat hair ball now and I went back two different times, uspet and begging for advice from "the specialist" as to what to do, she said "there is nothing I can do, your hair is ruined and it will take time to grow out." If they are specialists they should have known better to not slowly ruin my hair month after month and advise me differently. Aside from that, if you like unintelligent cosmo girl conversation with professionals eating while they work and bring their cute dog in for the day (which is not even legal to do at an establishment like this), then this is the place for you!!! good luck! read more

I. Love. This. Salon. I've been here once a month for the past 4 years (in Lisa's chair; she's wonderful) so that the world doesn't know that I'm not a natural bright-baby-blonde. The salon is small, with only about 6 chairs, and it's so clean and bright! Everybody is really friendly, and remembers your name and personal details about your life which shows that they really care about you, not just your pocketbook. They offer a variety of really high quality services, from AWESOME lash extensions that last forever, air-brush makeup, nail services, + of course hair. I got my hair professionally styled for both my senior yearbook picture and college graduation ceremony, and both times were fabulous. They also give you a free deep-condition every year for your birthday, which is fantastic, especially if you're constantly styling + treating your hair like I am. Cursory but nice benefits: they have a latte machine for clients, all-new magazines, + the center has a lot of little places where you could eat lunch before or after your service. Plus, you can make appointments online, which is nice because it's usually around 10 at night when I remember to make an appointment for a root touch-up. read more

I found this place through groupon and I figured I would give it try for my wedding. I went there last saturday for my ceremony and was pleasently surprised to find the place is small and very neat and clean, it wasn't busy that day, people were prob at the beach it was so hot! I was greeted by Bryana the receptionist who's very friendly and has such a postivie energy! I used the OPI gel manicure and the airbrush makeup both with Linda, who did a simply amazing job! She's very meticulous in her work, my nails look perfectly neat and she made sure to explain the process. As for the makeup...WOW! She took her time and she's very talented in the way she applies it, she knows what features to enhance to make you look your best, eye catching yet in a very elegant way. Both her her company and Bryana's is very pleasant and time flies when you're sitting there getting pampered =) I booked her for september from now so she can do my nails and my makeup for the reception part! Thank you Linda! read more

Many of my friends told me that Aldo was really good at blending colors so I made an appointment... And guess what!!! It's a fact! He is so cool and awesome. I really love how my hair turned out because I was afraid that my hair wouldn't take the bleach, but it did!! I asked Aldo for a grayish/silver tone and he did it! He made it happen! He knows what he's doing for sure. He's really easy to talk to and so chill throughout the hair session!! Sophia and Aldo talked to me throughout the time being so it wouldn't be so quiet and awkward. I learned that Sophia and Aldo we're make up artists at Mac before! How awesome is that!!! But overall, good hair day with Aldo :) I personally recommend him!!!!!! read more

Aldo Alan - Shout out to Aldo for this awesome blend :) - Hair Salons Near Me - Irvine, California

I want to start out with saying that I'm SUPER picky with who does my hair, & I'm a perfectionist when it comes to color ... especially because I'm a blond. Tiffany at Beauty Heaven was awesome at communicating back what I wanted and where the different shades of blond would be put! She's great with her consult... This where I've had bad past experiences, as the stylist did NOT communicate with me. She understands "color" very well, and is great at suggesting other options with you, as she is very conscience about keeping your hair healthy. Tiffany, is sweet and funny .... so, it makes it a pleasure to go get my hair done, which we all know is a chore! I say 5 stars all the way for Beauty Heaven & ask for Tiffany, if you're a picky person looking for perfect hair & few laughs! read more

Don't go to Christina, she is great when it comes to men's haircut, but if you are a girl, don't go to her. Don't get me wrong, she is a nice person, but she will be chatting away with you the whole time without even asking or doing what you ask her to do. My hair came out exactly the opposite of the picture that I've shown her, it was too short everywhere, as I explain what I want, she will cut me off telling me that she got it and knows what to do and then......... mess it up. Two sides of my hair is completely uneven, bangs too short, even shorter than men's hair....... not worth it read more

FABULOUS experience with Ruby- she cuts great hair and she's hilarious. She gave me a long bob which I am obsessed with. Really excited to go back and do color with her. read more

I've been going to Allison at Beauty Heaven for eyelash extensions for almost a year now. She is awesome and the quality of her work is excellent! Their website makes it really easy to book appointments and the other staff is super friendly. I've also recently let Allison do my hair, which is what prompted my to write this review. I went to 4 different hairdressers asking them for something specific and always left disappointed. Allison suggested she give it a try and it turned out perfect! read more

I was on the hunt for a great hair stylist and I am so glad that I was able to find Ruby whose skills with hair are so precise. She really listens to what you want and if you are not sure about the style or the color that goes with your face, trust her because she is the best at figuring it out. She is energetic, happy, fun and you can easily tell that she loves her job! I am a happy client since 4 years ago and now my daughters and my friends go to her too. read more

Aldo Alan - Make-Up - Hair Salons Near Me - Irvine, California

If you are looking for a new upscale salon to get your hair styled or make a move from a salon you are not too happy with....this is the place! I first dropped by Beauty Heaven, in Irvine, because I was desperate to get my hair extensions out. I was getting my hair colored the next day early in the morning. The staff, even though I was not a client, was super helpful and empathetic to my situation. They did not have time to fit me in, but gave me great advice, along with some removal solution. I vowed that if I ever needed to switch salons I would give them a try. A year later I was frustrated with my current hair stylist/colorist/hair extensions. I went back into Beauty Heaven for a consultation. The staff was very thorough. Explaining all the steps, the quality of hair (Great Lengths Hair - the "Roles-Royce" of hair), listening to my needs/frustrations from prior applications, coloring and setting expectations. WOW! I couldn't believe hair extensions could be so great. (From all of my past experiences I just thought you had to suffer through the process and come out with ok looking hair). The coloring was perfect, no one ever can believe I have hair extensions. The hair is so easy to manage, and the cut was amazing! I was hooked! I am happy to report that today, almost 4 years later, I had the same great experience. PLEASE NOTE: I have moved to Portland, Oregon, since my first hair appointment, and FLY to Orange County 4 times a year to have Kelsey do my hair extensions. YES, she is THAT good! Not only are the services outstanding, but so are the staff. I always feel like a princess when I arrive. They will go above and beyond to make you happy. Thank you Aldo. :) They work together as a team to make your experience a fun one. (Especially because you will be there awhile, when getting extensions. You have to like the people that are in the salon). I am happy to recommend this salon, without hesitation. BTW- when I was living in OC, I also had eyelash extension, which are SO wonderful! Kelsey is a master at applying those as well! read more

This review is only for getting my hair done by Linda and not the cuts or anything since I haven't received any of those services (though I'm sure all the other girls are wonderful too) Beauty heaven is awesome! Linda always does an amazing job and is attentive to what I want. I can bring her pictures and we can alter things/talk as we go through. I went to her for every dance my senior year (homecoming, winter formal and prom, and I went to two of each!) If you're looking for a salon with very reasonable prices and amazing stylists, beauty heaven is definitely it! The inside is also very cute and makes you feel welcome :) Not posh or run down, or even in the middle, but feminine and almost homey read more

This review is for Linda Kim. She definitely saved me big time from a really bad hair cut. The salon is very clean and modern looking regardless of its small size. Linda gave me a nice hair wash and massage. She used this conditioner that smelled herbally and made your hair really soft. She cut my hair while it was still wet. I just showed her a picture how i wanted my hair to be and she certainly made it look just like what i wanted. I love long hair and i hated every time i had to cut my hair. However, Linda was able to make me love my hair even though it was short (medium length). She took time blow drying my hair and making it soft and fluffy. I was very happy with her work. I took one star off because it was a little bit pricey for a haircut (It's in Irvine that's why). However i definitely would come back when i make more $$ :) read more

Aldo gave me a GREAT haircut! I have thick frizzy long hair. He didn't cut too much off on my length like I like but he did thin out my hair like I need and want. I've gotten lots of compliments because now my hair falls around my face perfectly! I am so happy! read more

I came here for color and cut. I forgot my stylist's name, but she was WONDERFUL. I can be a bit picky, but i think I've found my go to place and stylist. Only if I remembered her name..... I went to this hair salon after moving to Orange County and having no idea where else to go. They have a web presence and even allow you to make your appointment online which is something I liked. The space is very clean but small. The girl who cut my hair must have been new from what she was saying (she kept talking about making sure the hair on both sides was even, not very comforting, you expect the person cutting your hair to know how to do this and be confident) and it took over an hour just for a simple haircut, I have never experienced one that took so long. Then when it was time to pay there was a small shock, it was about double the price I would normally pay for a haircut. However I paid, left a tip and never went back. The price was a little high the environment was cold and cramped and it took way to long. read more

I found the salon through Groupon/Twitter and decided to give it a try for the new OPI gel manicure. It was really convenient to be able to book the appointment myself online instead of calling. When I arrived the receptionist was very nice and made me a latte while I filled out the client profile information. Linda did my nails and did an awesome job. The gel looks fabulous and I love that when I left everything was completely dry and not to worry about chipping. I'm definitely getting it again. The stylists that worked there were very friendly and relaxed. It was a great experience with one exception--parking. There are spots in front but they are all marked as 30 minutes only. Rather that park in the lot under neath and walk I chanced it and didn't have any issue with being in the 30 minute spot (because really what service can you get that only lasts 30 minutes?) I'm glad I came across Beauty Heaven and will definitely be back! read more

I've been gong to Aldo for 8 or 9 years, I think I've left disappointed one time. Aldo does amazing work, and on occasion I cheat on him because I've waited too long to book an appointment.
